  1. When I select LFG my only three options are Story Mode Operations, Hard Mode Flashpoints and Tactical Flashpoints. Did the ability to queue for heroics while in a given planet disappear?
  2. Last but not least - Thanks for all your hard work with this and other threads RuQu - would of been nice to play in game with you.
  3. I have a 46 sage healer and a level 30 trooper medic. Why 30 for the trooper? After getting to 30 and trying out Trauma Probe I was extremely disappointed in it. Having played a Shaman in WOW, I really expected Trauma Probe to work as well as Earth Shield since it is a direct rip off (well, without the awesomeness of Earth Shield) and now they want to charge for it when it is awful? I made a similar comment to your's about Sages Force Shield being the equivalent to armor since it absorbs for a lot. That, plus the ability to use Force Speed and Force Slow made them the overall best healers for any situation. The sad thing is that I have an 85 paladin in WOW and you would of thought that a medic would of been this game's 'paladin' for PVP. But they are not. I wholeheartedly agree with you that Commando Medics are now useless. My sage healer was OP (I had tanks asking me to heal for them constantly while leveling up) but then to have Bioware TWEAK sage seers and NERF combat medics was just stupid. My account ends on the 16th and I'm sorry to say that while I had huge hope for the game, that hope is gone. At least I got a cool statue for my $150 Special Edition...
  4. I posted this on the Commando forums but wanted to get some thoughts from the general healing community.... Although I might be mistaken, it seems that as the armor for the healer gets better, their arsenal of tools get smaller (see Priest vs. Holy Paladin in WOW or Sage Healer vs. Trooper Medic here). However, as somoene with a level 45 sage healer and a level 30 medic, I think Sage Healers might have better "armor" in terms of being able to cast Rejuvenation and Force Shield on themselves before going into battle or as soon as they get attacked. Force Shield absorbs a lot of damage and Rejuvenation has a nice duration (specially if you put some talent points into it). In addition, we can always use Healing Trance if we have accidentally pulled more than one mob group while Qyzen kills the baddies. Instant cast is very nice on Healing Trance... So it seems that the one advantage that Trooper Medics had - armor - is really not that much of an advantage. In return, we also have a smaller arsenal of tools and the tools we have, don't really compare favorably to what sages have. Sages, Medic and Sawbones out there - what are your thoughts?

  6. I have a sage healer at 45 and really think they are well rounded. Healing on a sage is a lot of fun. My trooper medic alt just hit 30 and I was really excited about Trauma Probe since I thought it would really compensate for the fewer abilities vs. the sage. To my suprise, I found Trauma Probe severely lacking. In addition, looking at preventive medince now, I realize that these two new abilities will not even bring me close to what I have with the sage. It seems that the trooper medic was modeled after the WOW shamman. As someone who loved his shamman, I really had high expectations for the trooper medic. Now, I don't even want to play past 30. Trauma Probe is awful compared to Earth Shield and Preventive Medicine is no Riptide. Lastly, I know this thread is not about the 1.2 nerfs, but seriously, why would anybody play trooper medic vs. sage. I'm I mistaken? Does Trauma Probe get better with time? What do you all think? Resubbing to WOW is looking better and better all the time...
  7. This helps a lot. I will be trying it tonight when I get home. Thanks!
  8. Even though I rolled a trooper during beta, I still enjoying listening to the story again and got annoyed enough to drop from Vent due to my guildmates constant chatter. Is anybody else enjoying the story so much that they are doing the same thing or having a hard time choosing between the two? Are you politely telling your guildmates to only request your presence in Vent during flashpoints? TOR - making it hard for guildmates to chat with each other...
