  1. Ah yep just had a chance to test it and I see what you guys are saying. I got a higher parse using the toxic haze one that increases lethal strike damage by incorporating toxic haze into my single target rotation. It seems that this tactical is worse at single target and aoe damage which makes it completely pointless to use in pve and pvp.
  2. I haven't had a chance to test the changes yet but can you explain to me why this is useless? Overall toxic blast does like 15% of your damage which is quite high considering your dots only do like ~22% of your total damage each. Therefore wouldn't buffing this number by 50% be quite a large dps increase?
  3. Did 5/5 HM ToS and monolith as well as a bunch of classic raids for sales on it the other day and can confirm the changes have put the operative in a worse place than it was before and due to the other class changes has put the operative behind all other healers. (Although I would like to note that on revan the cooldown reduction on recuperative nanotech has made healing on the core easier)
  4. Yes but you know the 4 piece is worthless as well when people who can only get sm set bonuses are buying 198 comm armorings instead of using a 192 4-piece
  5. The 2 piece and 6 piece are fine but the 4 piece does need to be looked at. This ability costs 20 energy and is on a 9 second cooldown. Reducing its cost by 2 means it only uses 18 energy, and since the ability has a 9 second cooldown (or 8. something depending on your alacrity) you are only using 2 less energy every once and a while. This reduction in energy is so miniscule that you are better off running (before 3.3) a 2 piece old and 2 piece new and using the other set bonuses on a different class or spec. I would much rather have this either changed to something completely different or put on an ability that is frequently used without a cooldown.
  6. Has anyone else noticed the irony here or is it just me? These "casual" players call all raiders "elitist" and "toxic" when in reality these "casual" players are more toxic and elitist than the raiders on this forum. All these casual players are hating on us minorities for wanting new content without having to wait 2 years. *shakes head..."damn raider racists..."* Although I also want to put it out there. Just because a group of players are labelled as a "minority" does not mean they are a small group of players. Losing a large portion of the raiding community is really not a wise thing to do and will be quite noticeable.
  7. Who are all you people? I'm from pot5 and I don't recognize any of these names...
  8. Tested this all night and got sniped regardless of positioning or GCD's turning your character. While turning your back did increase the frequency that you would get the snipe, it was not 100%. Sometimes my co healer had his back turned and I was the one who got sniped and vice-versa. If both healers were both looking at HK then it seemed to snipe anyway based on which healer had the highest threat. So yes not turning your back will decrease the frequency of snipes, however it will not remove ALL snipes and it is still a mechanic you must deal with.
  9. I like the M4-1S astromech droid because I was told I could travel the galaxy with it. In my adventures I found myself being double crossed by a pirate named Ruugar so I called upon the aid of my faithful M4-1S astromech droid but found myself being teleported back in time after attempting to take an escape pod to face this double crossing foe. I am now stuck in a time loop between defeating the pirate named Coratanni and taking an escape pod to face off against Ruugar. But I will not give up! I don't care how many people need to leave my party! I will defeat Ruugar with my loyal astromech droid at my side!
  10. Since the group is stacked and I am playing a HoT healer that has kolto probes + recuperative nanotech + kolto waves there will be a large amount of over healing due to the nature of the class as well as the fight. You also need to over heal a great deal during HK as spike damage occurs frequently with the stacks of the shiv so you want to ensure tanks are topped off at all times. While new healers may think their % of effective healing means everything this simply is not the case. A huge part of operative healing has to do with preemptive healing. An operative with 90+% efficiency is probably getting those numbers due to a raid group taking continuous damage that they cannot keep up with which means members are never at 100% health to over heal. Look at my damage as well, it isn't as if I am not off dpsing . In general looking at hps is quite meaningless and I was mainly posting this for the ehps aspect that the OP asked for.
  11. That definitely isn't low for a commando because with good dps you should only need roughly 8k total ehps (so 4k from each healer) for the first phase of first floor. If your group has low dps and are not knocking blades then you may require 6k ehps from each healer but that is the fault of the dps not heals.
  12. Obviously it should go without saying that you need to be able to enter the operation though which means you need to be lvl 55+.
