  1. Founder, Beta tester, Just came back after about an 8 month hiatus, I jump back and forth from game to game, but generally come back to SWTOR
  2. These are not the servers you are looking for, You can go about your business, Move along!
  3. I will admit that I did play quite alot at launch. But you mentioned "Why not reward those who dont rush through content, who have a family or other preocupations?". Just want to mention, that I have a full time job... working graves so my schedule is jacked up. Married and have a son in High School. I also have been going back to school to get my Bachelors Degree for the last two years and have over a 3.9 GPA. I honestly will not be suprised the least if someone fires back or makes a comment but oh well. I concentrated on one toon first, and got to 50. Then I parked him and began working on other Alts here and there. I understand your issue as I have a co-worker that did every class and did a little of all of them and has yet to hit 50 on any of them. I am pretty sure I will hear about it when I go back in on Saturday. In closing, I just want to say that I enjoy SWTOR. All those who think the game is dead, or it isnt' up to their personal standards need to sit back and remember. This is an MMORPG. It is ever changing and evolving. Those that compare it to WoW just look at Mist. WoW has been out for around 8 years and they are STILL changing it.... so for people to gripe that SWTOR isn't polished and on a silver platter, I say, Patience is a vurtue.
  4. I'm not sure for the Consular as of yet because I haven't gotten that high on him. but for the Sith Warrior the quest gives a custom item for every companion... got one for each of my guys to include Broonmark's new Techblade. got two blasters for Vette as well
  5. I played beginning on NES with Star Wars, went to SNES and played the whole "Super" Star wars series, got frustrating at times but was enjoyable. I would have to say my most fond moment was a friend and I were Playing Shadows of the Empire for N64 one night fighting IG88 and he scared the hell out of us, we had turned around and he jumped down right in our face hehe. Would have to say my favorite game for the Star Wars series, would be Rebellion for PC building massive fleets, 3D space combat although it was AI controlled, and the character interaction was awesome, Empire at War was a good attempt to recreate this but it in my opinion just wasn't the same. I know they were too different games, but Both had there pro's and con's. ....sounds similar to those on the SWTOR vs SWG posts.... but that will have to wait. It's hard to really say all the games I have played because there are a lot of them I enjoyed. I waited in sweet anticipation for SWTOR and I was not let down. I am thuroughly enjoying myself and looking forward to additional content to come. David, Jedi Knight and Jedi Knight 2 were fun ( I have them sitting on my CD rack next to me, may have to install it again....), they introduced me to my favorite past time, Force Choke/Force Push, nothing more refreshing then lifting a Storm Trooper up, watching him dangle in the air then hurdle him back off of seemly endless chasms......and I'm spent
  6. Warning: Shooting an Arrow straight into the air may result in taking an arrow to the knee. .....sry had to do it LOL <pwned>
  7. For the Force Wielding classes that have different saber electives, yes they get a second weapon ie. Mauder, Assissan, Sentinal, Shade. because of Dual Wield and Saber Staff. But the tanking classes Juggernaught and Guardian, they remain only 1 handers and get an offhand shield generator in place of the weapon. so in the OP's case he was out of luck unfortunately. sorry man, but don't worry sabers start dropping reletivly quick, saw a few on Black Talon.
