  1. Did you see it? What did you think? I thought it was a fitting tribute; love the songs they chose
  2. Hi, I'm a relatively new PvPer like you, but thanks to the people here I managed to figure a few things out: 3 & 4: Medals are awarded for very specific things, like amount of damage dealt, amount of healing done, guarding a node, etc. It is possible to do these things without actually helping your team win the match. For example: a sorc/sage can use consumption/noble sacrifice to deal themselves HP damage, then hide off in a corner the whole match and earn medals healing themselves. Bioware has coded medals for a number of actions that can reasonably HELP win a match, but it is a matter of how and when you do these actions that actually determine whether you actually do contribute to winning. So to sum up, it's possible to earn lots of medals but not contribute to the match very much or at all. On the flip side, it is possible to not earn very many medals at all but be a big contributor to the win. An example of this: it was ACW, and it was close. We had snow, but the enemy swarmed it. We would run in to disrupt cap, die right away and respawn to snow to do it all over again. Not the best strategy, but we stopped the cap until the last 3 seconds of the match and won, but we were all at the bottom of the scoreboard.
  3. Thanks, sometimes the teamwork isn't there with a PUG, but hopefully it will get better at 55 Warzones. Thanks, I recently got Healing Trance; I'll try to use it more. As for knocking back, I tend to use Force Wave (with Suffusion) whenever there's a large group of allies & enemies in one spot. Unfortunately, this seems to paint a big 'KILL ME' sign on my back, so maybe it's not such a good idea Thank you! Yeah, I tend to panic when I start getting attacked; I didn't think to keep healing. Also with Force Speed, sometimes it's hard to know where to run to. I really need to learn how to use the terrain
  4. Hi, I'm pretty new to the game, always loved being a healer, so I rolled a Sage healer as my first toon. Level 33 now, and have been doing PvP for a few weeks and am finding it both fun and frustrating. I was just wondering: 1. When there's a lot of combatants in one place, with all the movement it's hard to figure out (and target) the player who's actually attacking me and not someone else. How do I do that? 2. I usually camp out in some semi-hidden place and heal. When someone starts attacking me, should I: a) Blow a few quick defensive cooldowns (i.e. self-heal, stun, force speed) and go back to healing teammates until the attacker kills me. b) Run around and use all my defensive abilities and heals on myself until I loose the attacker or die. c) Engage the attacker in a duel of attrition, whittling him/her down with scattered damage while I heal myself up to make up for the dps difference. Any other tips would be greatly appreciated!
