Lets not forget that for every other class the "basic attack" is made stronger by the primary stat. Consulars do NOT get a stronger saber strike with added willpower, so it IS an inferior basic attack compared to every other class. That said I do agree that once you spec to free TK throw in balance tree or crits making everything cost half in the TK tree or resplendance in the seer tree you don't need a basic attack for force conservation. Of course, you are gimped from levels 10-20/30 depending on your route. But the point the OP was trying to make (at least I think the point he was trying to make) is that the Consular basic attack is inferior to all other classes, which is correct on 2 fronts (melee for a ranged class, AND not improved with main stat).

if you die during the battle with the last boss don't revive outside the instance. The second he is killed the instance locks and you can't get back in. That is the only time I've seen someone get locked out, just lay there on the floor and wait for a party member to revive you.

He's talking about the Sage in combat rez I think, which puts a 5 minute debuff on the entire party preventing them from being combat rez'd again for 5 min.

Directive 7 has to be done normal first, or you can do the same quest abandoning that works for Taral V etc

Only 1 mmo that I'm aware of allows this "vaction" mode style account freezing. It is not a common service.

The tooltips don't update correctly, the additional time gives additional ticks at full damage. before talent ticks do 100, after talent ticks do 100 but you get 2 more

I've just completed the storyline on my 50 consular, and after talking to another guildie that completed it Light 5 (I'm Dark 5) the endings are different. Also, I've noticed that when talking to the council like that they do seem to hesitate and seem to have the attitude of ... "well we need you to do this, so we will ignore your obvious dark tendancys for now" where as my guildie was loved and praised by them continually. Also, the choice you make at the end of chapter 1 DOES affect the end of chapter 3... I was pleasantly suprised

run a few normal mode esseless, takes 15 min once you are over lvl 30, if you choose the right dialog options its 450 affection every time.
