I had a Q6600 Intel quad @ 2.4 GHZ, I have Nvidia 460 GTX, 4GB ram DDR2 667mhz. I was getting 50 - 60 fps on planets with everything full, shadows off. 15 - 25 fps in warzones/raids. I just upgraded to a new Asus P8Z68-VLX Mainboard and i5 2500k and 8 GB DDR3 1333mhz. I can say i saw a huge improvement. i now get 30 - 60 fps in warzones (average about 40) with shadows on! I dont know about the 460 GT, i have 460 GTX which is over a year old but fine for this game on full settings. Get a new CPU and Mainboard. Best way if you can manage.

Unless they dont have alot graphics memory and Ram. Didnt make any impact on my FPS.

Well good news ive been on PTS the new char Textures look awesome. Same as cutscene textures. Crisp and clear. No more blurry Companions or players. GJ Bioware. Now fix shadows haha

Did you read OP, your Indoors go take one on a planet in a open area.

This is just Silly. Can you post a screenshot from, standing in an outdoor area say on Taris? Bet it's blocky.

And you were indoors.

I have the same problem its not Hardware related. Most of you showing shadows that look nice are indoors where they look best. Outdoors they just look horrible. I turn them off. Im a big supporter of this and if we could do what we did with getting hi res textures in. (Which ive seen on PTS 1.2) and they look great id be happy. Seems the engine Dynamically reduces the shadow quality for performance issues. Id like to chose what my computer can handle thanks. PLEASE BIOWARE FIX THE SHADOWS

Erm i dont think so. Very little notice and it takes alot time to organize Raids, Thursday is a raid night in my guild at 7pm GTM people all ready to go on teamspeak to find the servers are down. Not acceptable if im honest.

My guild did this tonight. pretty painless really.

Make sure you have the Allow access to same class story areas checked in social options. Get someone to walk into your hangar, then you click on your ship door. Make sure they dont. They will auto get transported into your ship.
