  1. Sorry for necro, and why this particular thread, of all the many many speech bubble threads, I don't know, but I wanted to lend my voice to the argument for speech bubbles. Being able to see who's said something is REALLY super cool and improves the social aspect of gaming to an enormous extent. I know because I've played other games that DO HAVE speech bubbles! I wonder if the developers might kindly take another look at the potential for this again please? It's been a very long time...
  2. It seems we're in a limbo where there's NO way to acquire colour crystals - I'm referring in particular to crafting. But there are wasted opportunities galore here. Everybody loves colours! They could be rewards for achievements, they could be quest rewards in their own right. The SUPER IMPORTANT thing, in my mind, is for low level players to have access to the ICONIC red and blue crystals to emphasise that dark/light aspect of the game. At the moment we're relying on generous/opportunist old timer who put lowbie crystals on the GTN.
  3. Life is a waste of time, friend. Relax. Waste your time. It's all good.
  4. As a returning player, I will express my opinion; I love Huttball, and the objective based warzones, but the Deathmatch warzones are unfun, I'm not brilliant at fighting, I don't have good gear or a great grasp of the arcane class combat mechanics (which seem to have only become more and more complex over time), It would behoove the developers to encourage new PvP players to keep trying. In this regard they should, I feel, make gear a non-issue and disallow groups vs pugs. I think it's important to retain group vs group because this friendship = good, so perhaps a bonus for being teamed while in PvP would be in order, to encourage leaders to step up and form teams. I would love Huttball to be expanded, with leagues and such, but if it's "just another warzone", players aren't going to make further content, it needs to be a THING in it's own right. So allowing players to exclude other warzones is super super extra important. TL;DR Things I'd like to see; Make gear stats the same for everybody so all players feel welcome Bonus for being grouped to encourage team play No groups vs pugs - it's inevitable who will win give grouped players a "there are enough pugs to play randomised team game" popup, so they aren't in a queue forever waiting for another group to play against (also pop this if groups are different sizes) Allow players to select which warzones they want to play Equalise reward for winning and losing - it should not matter in reward terms
  5. Have you actually played (let's say) Huttball? Once the enemy is on top and has the centre, your team needs to suddenly conjure the teamwork it didn't have initially, to flip it around. I hate to see people still trying after it's been proven that our team is facing an unassailable lead, throwing medals at the enemy like confetti, that they might improve their characters and thus henceforth whoop us ever more resoundingly.
  6. Dumb teammates make me give up. I give up a lot. There's no shame in giving up when they are obviously better: Someone has to lose.
  7. I can't afford a level 3 speeder licence. Training prices are absolutely disgusting.
  8. Congratulations, you just experienced the TTK problem that the community has been discussing for ages while the devs work on lengthening it behind the scenes (yeah right)!
  9. Shield rating, sheild absorbtion, and defense rating to actually work in PvP, Internal and Elemental damage to be mitigated by armor in PvP, To be able to shield against critical hits in PvP,
  10. I don't know... Huttball can be fun if your team is working together, but on the other side it's simply horrible and frustrating and just turns into a case of not being able to gank the ball guy before he passes. The game seems to be concentrated too much on who controls the area around the ball dispenser. Don't get me wrong - I've had some amazingly even Huttball games, but they happen when that centre area is not dominated.
  11. I'm not going to pretend I have solutions, but here are the problems I've experienced: Huttball: I've rarely seem a team come back from several goals down to win. Novarre Coast: The defence reward mechanics encourage people to give up and sit on one node. Alderaan Civil War: It seems pointless to attack after a certain score.
  12. ^^This. I don't want to give anything away so I'll just say that I liked the Agent story is better than the Bounty Hunter, but I very much prefer the BH companions. Of the three stories I've completed: Trooper, BH and Agent, they all... I am looking forward to see where that leads considering that they have said
