  1. I'm kind of experiencing something similar and I think it's how the game is written. I'm running: i7-2600K 3.4GHz 16GB RAM (for running VM's in the background [could do while playing WoW, not SWTOR]) 1GB HD 6870 The game is mostly fine on highest settings, but the problem I have is when I exit the game. My system takes a few minutes to recover and free up the resources SWTOR seems to be utilizing. It seems the game is an absolute pig. I think, over time, as the code is more optimized, it should be less taxing on the resources. I may be completely wrong, though.
  2. That still provides me with no preferable solution as I'd prefer mappings for everything I use to be the default; 1 through + on the top of the keyboard. Thanks, though.
  3. I'm sure others of you have noticed, but I found it kinda funny BW reused the holographic "dancers" from Mass Effect in SWTOR. Anyone else notice any recycled content? I don't care that it's reused, just find it interesting.
  4. Unfortunately, that doesn't cut it for me. Those left/right bars can't have keys mapped to them (that I know of) and even if they could, I want 1-9 along with - & + mapped to all abilities I switch to. I'd hate bringing the mouse over to click one ability on the left side then going to the right to click another I need. Keystrokes are much faster and frees my mouse to adjust the camera or more quickly target specific mobs. So for example, bar 1 will be solo offensive abilities, 2 healing, 3 group offensive abilities and 4 buffs and miscellaneous, less frequently used actions. If I was in a group, I can hit shift+3 to attack and a quick shift+2 to pop a quick heal and hop back. It's what I'm used to and would prefer to remain used to. Thanks though.
  5. Currently, the only way I know how to switch my hotbar is either holding shift + mouse wheel up/down or click the up/down arrows to the right of the bar itself. Both methods are counter-intuitive to my play-style. I'm used to holding shift and pressing the corresponding number for the bar I'd like to use. I haven't figured out how to enable that if possible. Is there a way? Thanks.
  6. I've been unable to figure out how (if there is even a way) to disable the auto-rotating camera when i change the view while running. I find it very annoying especially since it can be disabled in other MMO's I play(ed) and it's something I want to remain used to. I'd like to be able to move forward with the camera view different from my bearing so I can watch my six or flanks. Is there an option I'm missing? Thanks.
