  1. What would happen if an Automobile Manufacturer sold an extended service package that included detailing every 6 weeks, tire rotation and replacement, the option to pick up new wheel covers, etc ... and when the customer went in to get the service he already paid for was told, "Oh, we discontinued that extended service package, you'll have to pay for all that now"?
  2. At first, I was pleased they added something to the CE Vendor. Then I saw the new Rep Vendors, and all the gear and items they had available. Then I was pretty angry. Glad we got something, yeah. Feel cheated and abused, you bet. What a fail.
  3. My Raid Group convinced me to give it another few months to see what changes are on the way.
  4. He and the Nightmare Pilgrim should be instanced, period. Not in the group, can't attack him.
  5. Just cancelled my recurring subscription. I have until the middle of February before my paid time runs out. My reasons for leaving? 1) Misleading Advertising. The CE Vendor has not been regularly updated as advertised. 2) Poor game performance. I had never before played WoW, until a few weeks ago. My system runs so much better, and at a much higher graphics setting than it ever has on this game. 3) The Cartel Market. I refuse to participate in a blatant money grab scheme. 4) Nerfing classes based solely on PvP Whining, and destroying a viable class in PvE. I had to retire my Sorcerer, and raid with my Mercenary to get decent DPS. My Mercenary (Mix of Recruit / Daily Mods Gear) was out performing my Sorcerer (Rakata Gear) by a ton. Yet they have already promised the PvP Whiners that the Sorcerer will get yet another nerf. (Do everyone a favor and just remove the Sorcerer from the game, then perhaps the PvP Whiners can find something else to complain about). 5) The upcoming "expansion". My past experience has taught me that EA/BW promises big, but delivers extremely small, if they deliver at all. Been here since Beta, Pre-Ordered, Early Access. I kept hoping for thing to get better That is 100% my fault for holding out that hope. They haven't just lost a subscription, they have lost a customer of all their products.

  7. Just past experience from Beta until present ....
  8. Wall of Text on the way .. sorry ... I've heard "We have no plans" before, and what did we get? What you said you had planned not to do. I also recall being told by one of the former Developers during Beta: "Just find the bugs, we don't want or need your suggestions". Why not just make all the PvP whiners happy, and remove the Sorcerer / Sage completely from the game. PvP has cried about the bubble in any state from the very beginning of the game, including Beta: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=234784 http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=180805 http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=228790 http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=222094 And for the record, the "bubble" is NOT a heal. Heal means to restore health, it restores nothing. It is a (small) defensive damage mitigator. It prevents a small amount of damage from getting through. And let us not forget the Sorcerer's Force Lighting: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=31622 (Make sure you check out post #3) The Sorcerer has already been reduced from "Most Feared" to a "handy Support Class" when better damage classes aren't available. http://www.swtor.com/holonet/classes/sith-inquisitor Though their skills are varied and many, Sith Inquisitors are most feared for their ability to channel the energy of the Force, making them a spectacle to behold on the battlefield. Seething sparks of lightning explode from the Inquisitors’ fingertips and wrap their enemies in tendrils of pure Force energy. Because Inquisitors can twist the Force into lightning to stun, subdue, or destroy their foes, it has become their signature. Those who have experienced the sensation of the Inquisitor’s Force Lightning and survived forever recoil from the crackling sound of electricity. So why not do everyone (except for those few of us who still play a Sorcerer) a favor, and remove the class entirely from the game. It's the direction that I see this class headed. In my opinion, the Sage / Sorcerer should be more like the Jedi Consular's of KotOR I and II, feared at any range, Devastating at both Melee and Ranged attacks. (But that's a pipe dream, and removing the class is more likely to happen than actually making the class what it is supposed to be. Feared.) I also fully understand the "official" response in this thread from EA is simply to placate the Sorcerers / Sages until the next class destroying nerf hits us. And it will, and it's planned, and you know it. By the way, give us our Overload 360 back, or change every knockback, as well as Smash to a cone. And give us our ranged electrocute back while you're at it. What do I expect to get? Static Barrier will be self only, with a 1 minute cool down, and a 2 second cast time. But the damage mitigation will be increased by 5%, so it can be called a Buff and not a Nerf. Electric Bindings and Backlash will be removed as options to be spec'd into.
  9. There is the prime indicator of just what the Developers think of the Sorcerer. A tease of in indicator, making us think they posted, just to find that "promise" of a post as empty as their promises of anything else. I have a solution to the Sorcerer problem. Only allow Sorcerers to wear and use the items that the Inquistor comes with. (Give the Sorcerer a white quality Lightsaber at creation so we can have a lightsaber. No bonus stats, or Force Power, that does 1 damage per strike) Only allow Sorcerers to use the combat skills Saber Strike and Thrash, make sure no stat boosts the damage. Force Lighting heals enemy NPC's and Enemy Players in PvP. Remove 1% of the starting health each level gained, to a maximum of 50% original health lost at level 50. There you go. Sorcerer fixed.
  10. Not a single cent. Letting my sub run out and won't be renewing. I'm still here, only because the group I raid with has been having difficulty finding a replacement for me .... but, as of last night, we may have found someone to take my place, and I can kiss this game farewell. If .... and it's a huge "if" ... EA offers lifetime subscriptions, and I can swing the money for it, I might look into doing that ... but as it is, it's doubtful. But back to the question ... not a cent will go into their cash shop ... I get my "free" coins, and I probably won't even spend those (unless I can swing a lifetime subscription).
  11. KotOR II Jedi / Dark Jedi Robes (Adaptable / Moddable). Brown, Black, Green, Dark Red, Blue, etc., Hood Up / Hood Down .. for both Republic and Empire.
  12. It is"Lance" Armstrong who is accused of "doping. "Neil" Armstrong was the first person to walk on the Moon ... and he recently passed away ... Not funny or amusing ...
  13. Here since Beta, but not for much longer ... letting my subscription run out. I do Ops for some friends from the Guild I'm in as a favor when they're short members. My "Main" was a DPS Sorcerer, now retired. As for the person who said most of the Founders are still around ... not in my guild. We started with 2 Chapters (Republic and Empire) that had 3 sub-guilds each. A total of 350 of us on mumble at during prime hours, and 150+ off hours. This is prime as I'm typing this, and it's 37 total in the SWTOR Channels combined. No, many of the founders are not here. At least in my guild.
  14. If the change to the Sorcerer's Overload is so great, why didn't they change the Mercenary's Jet Boost to a fronal cone "attack"? After all, same function right?
  15. During the Scavaging Hunt Event, there was 1, only 1, instance on Drumond Kaas, and it had 185 players in it. More people on the servers, great (because General Chat crosses over to each instance), high capacity instances, not so great, especially the lower level planets, and the daily areas. I don't do the Black Hole because of the waste of time to get the missions done, unless I was able to group with 3 other guildies and try to get through them as quickly as I can. As for waiting my turn, I do, I'm a nice guy that way, unfortunately, there are a bunch of others who aren't, and like to jump ahead of the line. These are the ones that in general chat say "It's an MMO, deal with it" when called on it. During Beta, I ran up and ninja'd a node on Drumond Kaas from a guy I didn't see near the resource. He called me on it, and I not only gave him what I collected, I made him a lightsaber crystal as well. Courtesy goes a long way, but I have noticed it is rarely practiced online.
