  1. next gen (gen 7) is due out in February/March 2017.
  2. If you can find them: http://www.gamestop.com/pc/dlc/star-wars-the-old-republic-online-game-time-card-60-day/98601
  3. How do you find out how 'old' someone is on SWTOR?
  4. Easy to you. don't assume.... Not everyone pours hours into gaming like you.
  5. Good, My account and he uses it - im safe.
  6. Interesting - from the EULA on the site: "Accounts may only be available to persons of legal age and, solely under the supervision of such persons, to any of their children under the age of majority. If you are a minor, your parents, guardians or legal carers must complete the registration procedure, whereby they must take all responsibility concerning the obligations set forth in this EUALA" So what's the legal age? For some internet sites it's 13, others it's 17. And, I supervise my son so he can legally use my account.
  7. It may be there, but my son is under age and can't have his own account. He will continue to share my account until he gets older or bioware blocks me.
  8. Not mad. You completely missed the point. I'm just waiting on more story content. Taking a break.
  9. Would be ideal, but I only have 1 laptop.
  10. Being a minimalist or a casual player is most likely semantics. Maybe casual to one person is not casual to another. I play 2-4 hours a week and my son plays 2-4 hours a week. We stick to story missions and leveled 2 characters to lvl 65 (1 each).
  11. My son and I play on the same account (he's 11 and really likes star wars). We take turns and have been playing the new content since it came out. The game has it's fun spots. However it also has some negatives. Our thoughts: Groups will quickly let you know that you're a noob (or other very 'pointed' remarks) that you're doing something wrong. or you need to spacebar through content or you're pretty much anything which is not common or more veteran players. We found 2 companions which require PVP or World Boss kills to be acquired. We both hate PVP - we die quickly, not fun and we gave up. World bosses are tough, we can't play together and getting a group is next to impossible. This game was fun up until you start doing some of the more advanced missions. Until more 'casual' content is released, we're going to hold off. Bioware, if you do read this post then please consider the casual player. There's a lot of us.
  12. This has nothing to do with being psyched out. And congrats for being married 13 years and work 12 hour shifts. I don't work as hard as you, but I value my time off. I like to 'go outside' and 'do outside stuff'' every week. Each person has their own view of this game. Not everyone can be like you, maybe no one wants to be like you - working 12 hour shifts which turn into 18 hour days - no way.
  13. Look, I get it, Hardcore players have the time to down the latest bosses and get the latest gear. However, that's a small user base. I work full time, I have 2 kids and I volunteer on weekends. I'm going to guess the majority of people who play this game have lives outside of SWTOR. Maybe bioware needs to charge you more money so that they can dedicate a small team to keep giving you more and more content. I'm happy with the game pace. I don't need it to get any more 'hardcore'.
  14. If you have really good system specs (more than 8Gb ram, great graphics, etc...) than look into virtualbox. It will do it for you. I'd suggest multiple monitors to make the job easier.
