  1. I had a page of coins (80*99=7920) left on a parked toon. I rolled them and won(?): 433 purple rep - $1,082,500 1271 blue rep - $1,271,000 1759 green rep - $879,500 =$3,233,000 So at today's prices (I don't know how much they cost before), that's $2,707,000 for 8 cartel market certificates. Oh, and 20 green, 22 blue, and 6 purple scrap.
  2. I will support your decision to nerf the companions if you add a toggle box to their abilities to turn off / on their speaking / sound noises.
  3. This should be broken out in two separate threads. One for people who Tank/Heals and another for DPS toons. That way all the people who tank/heal can explain how everything is fine and nothing is broken. And then the DPS thread can complain about the comp healer output. I have multiple toons in all 3 roles. For all tank/heals specs in all modes, mentioned in Eric's post, are super easy mode and have been as long as I've played (or one notch below god mode pre-nerf). For DPS it depends on the skill level of the player. I also think the bigger problem is with the comp AI than their output. In heals, too often they do nothing... in tank, they lose aggro (one of the good things about Treek pre 4.0)... in DPS they do ok. My best geared toon is a Shadow with 216 gear, no set bonus. I was able to clear all of Heroic Star Fortress (no Alliance buffs) but the last of the 3 rooms. I died repeatedly in both Serenity and Infiltration specs. I then switched to Kinetic Combat, in the same DPS gear and cleared the last room and Exarch easily, With the buffs, I'm sure I could have cleared the last room and completed the Heroic.
  4. Well augment kits are virtually free [just takes time and node gathering/missions]. And you can get mats to craft augments virtually free with conquests. So, I would say it's better to make credits without using $$$ from the CM. High priced items are great, one big lump sum, but can take forever to sell.
  5. What would be cool is to transform Greens/Blue to mod-able orange. Some of those greens/blues look way better than orange. plus all those items are vendor-ed and never worn. The design team should be sad face about it.

BW gives out Basic Comms like candy... but if you don't want to lose any, you can buy schematics with basic comms and send to an alt and then send back when you're ready to refund... just don't play the alt and let the timer run out. On my main, I didn't do the FA II or III pre 3.0 and finished SoR about half way through 59. I didn't really notice leveling on my alts since I just wanted to get to Yavin and farm mats.
  9. I would like to trade anything for Basic Comms for isotope-5. It would devalue the isotope-5 but you still need MMG to craft grade 72 items.
  10. The different technique's correlate to the skill tree: combat is kinetic shadow is infiltration force is balance If you DPS you want Willpower, crit, surge, power, accuracy and use the focus offhand. If you tank you want Willpower, defense/shield/absorb and use the shield offhand.
  11. It would be better if you could vendor the rep tokens for credit. The basic and planetary comms get useless quick unless you're gearing alts/companions. Either way there should be an option to do something with all the useless rep tokens besides taking up cargo space.
  12. I'm with OP. HM = space bar. If you want to see the cut-scenes every flash point is solo-able in story mode or YouTube. Funny part about this thread is all the tough people vote kicking everyone they pug with.
  13. Buy or craft Sturdiness/Immunity enhancements and the Veracity implants/ear piece. Dailies on Makeb and Section X for level 66 gear. That should get you through all the 55 hm Also use cc's and CD's on hard trash pulls. As a Assassin/Shadow the dogs trash pulls will always suck.
  14. Are you increasing endurance by switching to Force armorings, going with B variant mods, or augments? It seems from all the posts on spikiness that the 2.5:1 ratio for endurance doesn't matter (up to a point) if you're dying in NiM or HM ops. Also do think Mental Fortitude is needed more now to squeeze out the extra bit of hp?
