  1. Yeah, I can't get past the 2 Nathema guards. I get 2-shotted with 42k damage attacks on Story mode. Fix please!!
  2. Display Name: rbaratheon Account Creation Date: 08.06.11 #1459978, interesting
  3. Thanks all; going in and out of Edit mode did it for me.
  4. The mission for the stronghold says to "Locate a Stronghold directory and purchase a Stronghold of your own. Then travel to yout Stronghold to begin customizing it to your liking" (emphasis added). Well, I went ahead and unlocked the stronghold (and did a little decorating!) before getting the mission because I forgot that there was one. I then remembered and picked it up. Now I traveled back to my stronghold, yet I'm not getting a mission complete. Does this mean I'm SOL on the legacy storage that's part of the quest reward? Because that suck, a lot.
  5. You were right to use "affect". Affect is a verb (This obnoxious OP's behavior did not affect me); Effect is a noun (This obnixious OP's behavior did not have an effect on me). Hope this helps, and I hope you don't encounter any more of these kinds of people!
  6. You're absolutely right, thank you very much!
  7. Maybe in the past, but they're now 2 craft material/6 scav metal/4 scav compound. Might have changed in a recent patch, but it's definitely 2/6/4, not 2/2/2.
  8. Are the controls the most intuitive in the world? No. But I'm with folks on here who say that you shouldn't be able to just log on and immediately master everything. I've played about 10 games, 3 as a scout, 4 as a strike fighter, and 3 as a gunship, just to get a feel for the different crafts. So far, I like the gunship the best. But to each his (or her!) own. I hope you do try again, as PVP is dependent on, well, players. The more people who are willing to stick it out and play a few matches expecting to get beat like a drum, the more fun it will be in the long-term.
  9. I wish it was the schematic instead. Artifice can make a few dyes and the black-blue dye available from CZ-198 is certainly nice. But instead of just handing out the dye module, it'd be cool if instead they sold the schematic for 2000 CC (or whatever it is) and the dye was super hard to make. That way, people who want to spend CCs to get the dye can get it, and people who have loads and loads of in-game credits (probably would sell for >10mill) could get it too. Also, it would keep the dye super rare. The mats would be something like 10 of all of the grade 6 and 9 color and power crystals, 10 Exotic Element Equalizers, and 3 Mass Manipulation Generators. That would make it rare enough that it would take a whole lot to get the dye, but it would still be out there and hardcore Artificers could learn how to make it.
  10. I'm sorry but how hard can it be to create an event that doesn't involve camping at spawn points fighting over who gets to probe the NPC? Why are there even spawn times on the Shady Characters? So that you can't camp 1 person and right click 5 times? Who cares about that? This event is in no way, shape, or form a cooperative event that brings an MMO-world to life. Instead, it's having the opposite effect; marginalizing players and creating infighting between players who get ninja'd at a spawn point. For people who say that we look back at earlier events and break out the nostalgia, the only 1 was the very first event, because it actually felt like an event. It was spontaneous, cooperative, and fun. This event is certainly spontaneous, but is not cooperative and not fun.
  11. Just like it sounds- the event would be Imps trying to reconquer (conquer? Sorry, not up on all the lore) Coruscant, while the Pubs discover Dromund Kaas and launch an invasion. On PvE servers, players would serve as defenders against enemy NPCs. The servers would keep a kill count going for the duration of the event and whichever side kills more NPCs would get a temporary (1-2 weeks), minor (3-5%) primary stat boost. Maybe titles too (ex: Sword of the Republic for Pubs, and Fist of the Empire for Imps). Special titles could be awarded to players who complete certain achievements (ex. killing 1,000 enemies) suuch as Mortal Sword of the Republic for Pubs and High Fist of the Empire for Imps. (Unless there are copyright issues). On PvP servers, players would serve as both attackers and defenders, with the enemy capital worlds available on the galaxy maps. Scoring would be the same- whoever racks up the most kills would get the same reward stipulated above. I'm sure this would be a pretty tough undertaking from the dev side, but I think it would really bring a "Star Wars" feel and create a truly cooperative experience for the players, instead of lining up for event objectives and having other players ninja objectives. Just my thoughts, it would be super cool to see.
  12. Played through Makeb on both factions as a Shadow Tank and Op Healer, solo'ed them both, and the Imp boss was way, way harder. And I liked it. It wasn't really that hard- just stand out of the way of the giant laser and keep wailing on the boss. As a healer, I was able to keep my companion up and occasionally AOE the droid refuelers. But whenever the red text apeared on the screen I just got the hell out of the way and let him shoot off his laser (heh heh). It took a while, but I eventually grinded him down and beat him. It just takes a while, I think the difficulty of the boss is just right.
  13. The best event by far was the Rakghoul plague, not only because it had some cool stuff and felt like a community effort when participating in it, but it was totally unexpected. The game-world really felt alive when out of nowhere a news terminal popped up announcing the plague was spreading. The whole infection circles were kind of annoying, but funny too. I think not announcing events is a better policy than hyping them up and then seeing massive disappointment when there are only a few reskinned items as rewards.
  14. Listed as BoP. I have the Certificates, credits, and reputation but I want to sell the mask instead of binding it to my account. Is there any way to do that or am I just overlooking something very obvious? Thanks.
