  1. Very, very nice! Thanks for the good work. Took me a few minutes to actually grasp the purpose of that spreadsheet, but now I recognize the value. Relative stat values are especially crucial to keep track of. Cheers.
  2. Alternative PVP build: http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#301hRhrdMroMZrcbroZb.1 Main highlights: - relying on RetBlade dot rather than IGC procs to keep target dotted for Railshots. - sacrificing +10% shield proc for more utility and DPS. Empowered Tech is a bit overrated imho, taking into consideration that Flame Shield and Shield Vents have proc cooldowns. - synergizing No Escape with Advanced Tools for Grapple+Flamethrower combos. Best thing I feel about this build is that there are no filler or situational talents here. Every single skill point contributes to overall PVP performance. Feel free to poke the holes, I'll be happy to comment.
  3. Ye, I remember getting surprised by that email too. Really didn't recall any evil conversation choices involving her. I suppose it's just a minor fail from quest writers trying to be overly dramatic. My final thought before forgetting the email altogether was "Ye, whatever..".
  4. Rather than looking at it as mistake (and poisoning your gaming experience with negative attitude), try to look at it as an opportunity to play one of the most cinematic classes in game. Every second fight I'm having, I swear to god I could record it, edit it, put some good music on and watch it as a Hollywood action movie while eating popcorn. And ye, go with Pyrotech for leveling.
  5. I completely agree with the posts above, the only thing worth mentioning is that it's quite hard to find a technostaff replacements for Torian as you level up. Obviously, companion's dps suffers if they have obsolete weapons. Therefore as shieldtech I run around with fully pimped out Gault. With DPS builds (AP/Pyro) I prefer Mako's healing as I kill stuff faster than I would be with DPS companion, when taking into account additional time spent kiting and recovering after fight. If anyone had any luck locating a moddable technostaff (mayhaps craftables?), I'd appreciate any tips on where to acquire that.
  6. Yup, you missed the vendor somewhere. Apologies, I don't remember where I bought mine, but my Gault has been running with 2 perfect horns shortly after I've acquired him.
  7. That was actually a very entertaining read for someone like me who's still waiting for that early-access code to arrive. Keep up the good work, matey, and thanks for all the tips!
