  1. For some reason it seems my post was either lost in submission, deleted, or something. I've been playing Watchman since beta, then Early-access, and never broke my sub all the way up to present day. I'm a progression raider, but I don't PVP, so I'd put myself somewhere between casual theorycrafter (I don't do a lot of hard number crunching, Just occasionally read guides and try it out) and hardcore player. I'm finding Watchman quite miserable now post-3.0. This update has totally thrown me for a loop and playing Watchman hasn't been "fun" and dynamic like it used to be :\ It doesn't have any sense of flow or synergy once fights get moving around too much. I was able to figure out Watchman at endgame at launch pretty quickly without ever having to read any guides. The spec just "clicked". This is missing now. I feel like I have no idea what I'm doing and no pattern seems to "mesh" and the rotations that people have suggested up here, I can't seem to settle into, which is doubly frustrating. I'm equally discouraged by the fact that feedback seemed to be going well halfway through the PTS cycle with the developer responding pretty frequently, and yet towards the end, this is what we ended up with somehow. It feels like the tester's feedback wasn't taken into consideration at all, as it was brought up multiple times that the new spec was lacking some of the synergy that was Pre-3.0 Watchman. I haven't yet tried my hand at Concentration or Combat in PVE, but as it stands right now, as someone who's invested 119 hours into his Sentinel since launch, this is incredibly disheartening
  2. I'll have to give this a try. I'm with the OP here. I'm finding Watchman quite miserable now post-3.0. I'm a nightmare progression raider, and have been playing Sentinel since Launch, and parsing quite well usually. This update has totally thrown me for a loop and playing Watchman hasn't been "fun" and dynamic like it used to be :\ I'll try this and feedback, but my hopes have been dashed quite a bit after the back and forth of changes on the PTS and the feedback given by the testers largely ignored by the end of it.
  3. Has anyone noticed any changes to Hardmode Raptus in Dread Palace post-2.8? My guild has been noticing significantly higher damage output than we are used to seeing, having cleared this fight several times before on hard mode with little to no issues, lately it's been nearly impossible to get through. Anyone having any similar trouble? Thanks
  4. I hate to (once again) revive a dead thread, but can anyone answer this question for me? Been trying to use my 3D Vision 2 kit with SWTOR, and the game switches my monitor to 3d Vision Discover (anaglyph red/blue style 3D) instead of regular nVidia 3D Vision that everything else I've been playing is using. Is there any way to stop SWTOR from doing this and force it to use the 3D Vision 2 style shutter glasses? Thanks.
  5. I can now craft Dread Guard Relic of Boundless Ages (350 power clicky relic) on Zan'der, Republic side.
  6. I'm not sure if this has been mentioned but.. that blue Jedi armor one posted on the front page would be amazing for Sentinels to have (or any variation of it, really), since we do not currently have any armor that appears remotely similar to the armor the Jedi wear in the trailers, leaving us feeling a little left out. Also, this blue/silver Bh/Campagin armor was in the preview trailer for 1.2. What happened to this color scheme? Blue/Silver Campaign Armor
  7. I am a Watchman Sentinel, spec'd 31/3/7 presently. 1) I believe my spec is misconceived to be more powerful than it really is. Players see the Sentinels have too many defensive CDs and Watchman spec just adds even more to that survivability. However players also view Watchman as having some of the best DPS/survivability for PvE and 1v1/1v2/1v3(with lesser gear) PvP 2) I perceive my own spec as excelling very well in what it is - a very mobile, melee DPS with high damage, some group utility and survivability, but easily counterable by stuns/slows/any class that knows what they're doing. I feel like there are multiple ways to customize the class and tailor it to different players' play styles, and I do not feel that the spec or the class as a whole is "over powered," but more a very strong contender in the mDPS category, considering that's the only spec it has.
  8. Legacy doesn't transfer between servers, or rather, you are only allowed one Legacy per server. They made this clear fairly early on in the development, so no, you don't get credit for your 50s on another server. It sucks, but, you can't really be that surprised that's how it works given that the above information was out for awhile.
  9. So.. Let me get this straight The crappy itemization that is the Knight Rakata gear isn't going to get an upgrade so I don't have to keep going around in my god awful Columi mods/enhancements to make up for the fact that stacking Crit/Acc is pretty useless? Oh well, good thing I'll be upgrading soon to the new gear.
  10. I would also like to know a response to this. As a Jedi Sentinel, the Crit/Acc mods were absolutely useless to me in compared to the Power/Surge ones that are slotted :/
  11. Not if it's an epic/purple gear item. Epics don't have a Hilt slot presently, to prevent you from pulling the hilt out and putting it on an orange item (Which will change soon anyway)
  12. Watchman only has 4 stacks for burns. 3 Stacks on the Overload Saber and one stack of Cauterize. And this snare? what is this I don't even? Is there something in the Focus tree that you've spec'ed into for that? Combat is actually a lot better at PvP at Level 50 than it is at any other point in the game. Blade Rush and precision strike, when used properly, can net you some pretty high-hitting crits (Upwards of 4.5k-6k) with Blade Storm. You can burst people down extremely quickly and the movement speed bonus from Ataru form is pretty awesome. Also, when doing PvE raids, Combat spec is a lot more valuable in 3rd phase for Soa than Watchman spec.
