  1. While an adjustment was needed, poor companion coding and a far too heavy nerfbat has made the companions just about worthless. Previously companions would at the least heal you, occasionally, and those heals were so amazing they carried you through. Now, if my companion, regardless of influence, heals me, its negligent. Where as in the past, with burst heals and occasional manual commands I could do Heroic 2+ content on any character with any healing companion, now these companions are healing for nearly nothing, if they heal at all. Lana Beniko for post KotFE content and Kira Carsen for pre-KotFE content for example. spend most of their battle lovingly poised right in the enemies space, spinning their lightsabers and occasionally calling out combat dialog, while I get my backside handed to me by five enemies with no cooldown timers. At this point you're better off hoping and praying you can get 3 more people, and hoping that at least 2 of the group are dedicated healers. And that's an impossibility now due to the fact that you've made nearly everything in KotFE a 'personal instance' moving even further away from previous promises in the first year of the game to address the fact that, as an MMO, we sometimes like to play, and be rewarded, together. TL:DR your nerfbat was needed, but rather than the tap Companions deserved you swung so hard you knocked them out of the park and now they may as well not even be in game.
  2. Title isn't exactly the replacement for a 10 dollar purchase of something that is now becoming a subscriber perk. If the title was the only thing you were giving out, maybe, I could see it as passing by ok. But to then tack on "But if you purchased it in the past 30 days you pretty much get your 10 dollars back in Cartel coins." See that's not going to fly. Rewarding previous purchasers with a title and only the most recent purchasers with, what reads to be, that and the cartel coins, that's not kosher. Everybody who purchased this expansion, especially since it seemed as though it would be the only way to get the expansion, and how you adverted the heck out of it on the bottom of the Cartel store, should get that cartel coin bonus if they previously purchased the expansion.
  3. So we now have a Cathar Warstaff in the cartel store. This is cool, but it also means something important. You can buy gear outright from the Cartel store, if it's available, and there's a set price range for these items 400 for weapons 1400 for full equipment sets. So with these existing I have to ask, why can we not just out right go to our collections screen and purchase weapons we want, gear we want, crystals we want. You've no issue with putting other weapons, and armor, and items in the store itself, so why not let us purchase these other items? If nothing else it could be a bonus for being a subscriber that you don't need to buy packs for the chance of something you want you could just out and out buy it.
  4. It is kinda hard when you've had to put god knows whichever special characters in your characters name because you were forced to do a character transfer in server consolidation and lost your name. æ, å, and other out there accents make it a pain sometimes to send characters things across factions. Having all your characters on a server in the dropdown like they are with guild mates would be a great assistance. And while we're at it since we have the collections thing, which clearly shows information can be shared across an account server and system wide, why not allow us to you know, maintain a friends list across all characters rather than having to re-add people every time we make a new character?
  5. Echani Warrior and Mandalorian Gladiator, ya know, some non-force using Melee classes.
  6. Since customer service lacks the capability to understand "I am requesting confirmation that this is intended and not a bug" and can only reply with the exact same copy and paste response over and over again I will post it here in the sliver of hope that a developer or person on the art team actually looks at it. So far, nearly every moddable piece of gear I have come across in game now has a dye module. This honor even extends to some artifact level non-moddable gear. However, pieces like the Inquisitor's Vestments, which is part of a level 15 craftable 'set' (read: set of gear that visually complement each other) does not have a dye module slot. In fact non of the level 11 and level 15 craftable sets I have come across have them. Other moddable gear of the same level, for example items dropping from Flashpoints, appear to have such slots, but these items do not. I fear this is an oversight, be it intentional or by incident. That the set is completely moddable, yet lacking in a dye module slot while other moddable gear has it seems to state that the gear should have a slot but was overlooked in the update with Dye Modules. And as I stated Customer Service seems incapable of actually reporting what seems to be a bug and is only capable of pressing Ctrl-V I am reporting this here.
  7. Yeah I thought of that, but the gear is level 50 gear, at least the rifle is. I didn't exactly have the cash to try and pull the mods out of all his gear.
  8. So I unlocked HK-51 on my level 50 Juggernaut the other day and instantly fell in love with him and decided "you know what, I want him on this character I'm leveling." Now after getting HK-51 you can get him through the Legacy system with a Character Perk, so I logged on to this character, a level 21 Vanguard and bought the perk, Cartel Coins mind you, not the 1,000,000 credit cost. I am disappoint. I can understand getting Level 50 gear for HK-51 the traditional way, as you need to go to a level 50 only zone, but the Character Perk is not level bound, so long as you can purchase it you can use it, yet when you get HK-51, he's got all level 50 gear, which mind you he can't use because I'm level 21. So I contact customer support and ask for the HK-51 Combat Outfit box, which when you open you roll for (I thought I would get that to begin with anyway). I assumed that since it rolls, it rolls to match your current level. I was wrong. Even at level 21 (now 22 really) the gear still rolls out at level 50, did nobody think to stop and go "We're letting players spend real money on unlocking this guy, maybe we should have it so they can actually use what they pay for?" I mean if the perk was locked to level 50 I could understand, it's not, so why is the gear for the perk locked at 50 and not rolled to the level the character is when the perk is purchased? That just makes common sense. I would suggest fixing it (I would also suggest letting anybody who got the perk and is still lower than 50 send in a ticket to get a new outfit box so they can roll to their level once you fix it.)
  9. Really? How does Rubat not qualify? SIX HOUR LONG PVP QUES and we don't qualify for character transfers? and here I was actually thinking I'd get to play on a server with some population this weekend.
  10. Eshan. Echani gear is all over this game, even littering starter planets. But I haven't seen a single Echani, or reference to their culture or homeworld. I think its about time they got some proper representation.
  11. Well we aired our first episode live on Holonetradio and the "Special Edition" downloadable version has now been posted here http://holosuitemagazine.com/wookies-in-ecstasy-take-1-welcome-to-the-shaven-wookie-cantina/ bit of warning, there was a bit of a technical snafu (read that as I forgot to do something) and the sound pack sounds of the conference program we use to telecommunication can be heard in this recording, this has already been addressed for future shows. Enjoy, Alastor

  13. I like this idea, but the issue I see is the full cost of traveling being given to the attendee. I would think with this being a limited person event, that's being organized by EA/Bioware, some compensation could be made. I in no way believe or assume that EA/Bioware would, or should, completely cover the cost of so many people traveling, but surely some vouchers could be provided, arrangements of discount deals due to the event. Even CCP covers (or at least at one point covered) most of the charges for their Council of Stellar Management member's travel expenses, so certainly EA/Bioware should have the capability of providing some assistance to Officers or Leaders attending to lessen the financial strain of traveling in such economic times, especially considering the symbolic importance of bringing members of the player community into the process of development like this.
  14. That would be because Stormshade, Wishstone, and the others never let threads get this long. Bioware seems to not mind letting its playerbase Vent.
  15. Of course there's no mass exodus of players. Why? Because there just isn't. Most of these people complaining about the game saying "I'm canceling" are sitting in game right now playing it and are going to continue. Why? Because the games far better than most other MMO's on the market, it's got flaws but hey, Bioware's proven their on fixing them. People are just to busy bawing and calling the wambulance about how they didn't press the insta-fix button they believe exists to point that out. Why? It's easier to complain than to accept that things take time. Simple human mentality.
