  1. Ok thanks for the replies everybody, it was all very helpful! Nice advice, Rankyn. I would much prefer to keep the current names, but I have created half a dozen new characters with alternate names that i can put up with. That's a better option than just coming up with them on the spot, and for me sometimes you have to see a name in game, to know if you really want to keep it. This way, I made and deleted a few before I found ones that i was happy with. When I move, i will delete the new guys one by one and rename my existing guys to the new ones. Thanks Again,
  2. I have 7 Characters on Gav Daragon (APAC), which are going to have to move in the next 50 days or so. I checked names on 5 of these characters on 2 different servers, and all five are gone - on both servers. I didn't bother checking the other 2, but they are probably gone as well. Three of the characters are L55, and the others are around L30. What is the official policy on name clashes when moving servers? I assume that if a name is taken on a destination server, even if the character has only ever been used for 30 seconds, then that name does not change, and the incoming character is forced to change. Is that correct? I would hate to lose them all, but I guess that's looking likely.
  3. Ok just as an update, I mailed all the creds to 1 of my characters and the achievement popped. As DarthTHC suggested, above, that option worked for me. thanks guys edit: thanks also rank and just
  4. lol i'd want to make sure it's a good friend! I am going to try mailing it all to 1 of my guys and see what happens.
  5. I have over 10 million creds, spread between my characters, and do not have this achievement or title unlocked. Is it broken, or is there something else I need to do before it becomes available?
  6. Someone from my guild told me that when she bought something new from the cartel market (she bought Cathar race), then her other items populated in the collections section. I didn't test this as I am not currently ready to buy anything with CC, but thought i would mention it here just in case it might help.
  7. I haven't seen any numbers, but Dark Heal did change with 2.0. It heals a lot more now, so the 'best' cast or rotation may not necessarily be the same as it was pre 2.0, when DI was stated as the best option. Also, In PvP DI is just too slow. If your target is really being attacked, there is a fair chance they will be dead before your cast is finished. I ran into a sorc the other day who did 1.3mill heals in hypergate, and always tops 1m every time I see her. I asked her what she does. She never uses DI - and her rotation never runs out of force. I think the key to that, from memory, was to cast Consumption every time after casting Innervate - and using resurgence at every opportunity. For me, the difference in cast time - as I mainly pvp my sorc now, means that I am not interested in using DI, especially as I am not having resource issues now.
  8. I quite liked the imp story but my main issue with Makeb was the ridiculous number of respawning mobs that, for me, made the planet fairly irritating to travel. The fact that I got an achievement for killing 1,000 enemies, on a single planet, when I was only just doing regular missions - and nothing else, not even heroics, pretty much describes my experience. Too many, unimportant and tedious fights, just trying to get around the place. If I ever go back, it will be with a stealth char... My only other, very minor, gripe, is that companion affection moves way too much. if I have maxed a companion to 10k affection, saved them from terrible death, and have had them pledge eternal loyalty/servitude to me, why do I lose 600 affection for choosing not to strangle some random in an unimportant quest on the planet?
  9. I've stopped pvp'ing for now as I hit the cap for both normal and ranked wz comms, and there is nothing worth buying for sub 55's from the pvp vendors. However, I continued to experience this issue until my last game. Every night it might be different, but if I queued consistently for a 3-4 hour stretch, 90% of all wz's I played on every given night would be the same one. Every now and then a different game would break the streak, but I would always revert back to the common one. By far the most common streaks I suffered were in Civil War and Novarre Coast, which is a pity, as I used to like those games... This was not just due to the bad luck of which queue I was in, as I am on Gav Daragon in the APAC region. These games were the only level 30-54 ones on for the whole night, as there were only ever enough players for 1 game to be going at once.
  10. Is it normal to get all green mats from purple 300 & 340 crew missions? No blues, and no purples, at all? I don't recall ever experiencing it before, but get it regularly now. It's on my Cyber guy so it's either Scavenging or UT missions, maybe both.
  11. That is a nice story Eric, but even when there are no other matches on, these streaks are happening. I am from that underpopulated, and soon to be nonexistent region of the SWTOR world, where there are often only enough people playing for 1 match to be running, at any given time. Anyway, I can confirm to you that since 2.0, while 'improbable', these streaks are actually common, even when no other games are being played. I just assumed you were doing this deliberately, to check features or bugs. Since 2.0 I have had a number of weird warzone experiences - such as being stuck in Hypergate matches - after they ended - or having tiebreaker scenarios kick in 2 minutes into a game. The most common of these annoyances however, by far, has been the continual streaks of identical games... If you are going to make me play one over and over again, if I want to pvp, can you please at least make it voidstar?
  12. Yes. For me, logging out then logging back in fixed the issue. Did you try that? It could at least save you some cash, if nothing else... Worked for me anyway. ____________ By the way, Bioware, clicking on the holterminal as a Level 47, who has not finished the class story, started a cutscene which gave me end game spoilers (inquisitor), and transported me to Makeb. There was no quest in my log, and I had no interest in going to Makeb. If you can travel to Makeb prior to finishing the class story, it would be nice if the Makeb cutscene didn't give away end game details of the story.
  13. Sorry if this has been mentioned, but UT missions are spitting out tons of schems.... ALL GLOVES... When I went to GTN to see if this was more widespread, EVERY 450 schem for armormech and there are dozens of them, are also gloves/gauntlets... This looks like a bug to me? Is it known? After logging in from the patch update just now, I received 3 gloves from 3 UT missions my guys were carrying out lol
  14. No that is not the case. Thanks for being so clever, however. I went in as a 41 sorc with good pve gear, with a number of augs, yet was dying within 2-3 seconds of anyone attacking me - especially anyone with a gun. My entire team, none of whom were 50's, quit due to how unbalanced, and just plain bad, the game was. The game we were in shut down due to lack of players, and I came here to see if others had been having a similar issue. My experience of pvp went from fun - yesterday, to shocking, today.
  15. Seriously? Wow. I'm speechless. It was that bad?
