  1. Companion gather missions being weighted heavily towards gifts while materials are either low level or non-existent has been an issue since day one, the source of much head banging and forum postings. So far as I know no dev has ever commented on the issue ie:head in sand
  2. Yes .. please ... make it go away Running down the staircase just to get rid of it is annoying, And as far as the no guild controls blah blah I could give a roasted rats arse, let us make that part of a "don't show this" toggle too
  3. Better yet DON'T TOUCH IT IMO trying to fixor improve a "bug" we like can only lead to heartache
  4. Sadly ... tragically ... this thread is 2 1/2 years old, hundreds of posts and .... ... nobody at BW has even noticed it
  5. Given the deafening silence on the subject thus far I wouldn't give up anything important like sex, breathing or beer waiting for them to do something
  6. Personally I'm hoping lots of people with too much money and time all line up to buy the extra slots with cc ... .... Why? you might ask? Cuz from the way they are grabbin for cash if this doesn't work I expect something along the lines of a "Gold Security LockBox" to start dropping from mobs ... one that will require a special "Gold LockBox Lockbreaker" from the CM for 100cc
  7. Yeah, if they fixed that little loophole I think fewer people would be so down on f2p
  8. Cynical answer: Yes but you will be able to pay CC to shorten it
  9. However comma pause Is there going to be enough room in the legacy storage bank for it all? If the bank is going to be simply a cargo hold with max 5 80 slot tabs like a toon has then the function (IMHO) will be of limited usefulness to me given the amount of resources a full set of crafters needs to have on hand
  10. This is pretty much where I stand, if I, the person behind the toons, earned it, what difference does it make which toon I am currently controlling? Make all BoP items BoL, *possibly* with a BoE behind it, like the mounts awarded at the casino if they REALLY feel the need for some restriction to prevent "earn it once use it everywhere"
  11. I'm looking at you Force Leap/Force Charge
  12. That shouldn't be too hard to implement. People should decide to become bountys not have them placed on them. Accepting "Bounty on My Head" status should be done at a planetary terminal, bounty status lasts XX hours of GAME TIME (24?), doing so locks out all travel options (except maybe quick travel) and ques, so the toon is restricted to the current planet for the duration. Likely a lockout of instances and a slowed logout function will be needed to prevent people from ducking out every time somone gets close. "Bounty on My Head" lists you on the terminal by name, planet, current on/offline status for hunters to scan. Hunters "Buy in" for a hunting license for that target, more hunters bigger payout. Escaping the hunters (ie bounty times out) gives the license fees to the hunted. Bonus idea: Successfully completing a bounty collection has a 5%(?) chance of invoking the anger of friends and family automatically placing the hunter on the active bounty list. Bonus idea#2: Chicken out option, bounty can "chicken out" by "buying out" the contract, which returns the license fee to the hunter plus the same amount and ending the hunt
  13. I agree ... opt-IN *only* for such a feature. Ditto for not on fleet.
  14. Sadly I don't think a chat post timer would work, they'd simpy open up a spare laptop and run a second (or third or ... ) bot <Broken Record ALERT> Gotta say what I've said before in these kind of posts, they need to charge a nominal fee ($5-7) to register an account so that an account ban for credit spamming costs something other than an hour to register another account and power level a toon to fleet, presuming they don't already have a hundred backups ready after x2XP week. If EA/BW is worried that an account registration fee will reduce the number of new f2p players trying out the game they can always use a "trial account" scheme that restricts un-registered accounts to starter planets, no real player spends enough time there to be bothered by credit spam anyways.
  15. Sorry to sound like a broken record but .... IMHO all they need to do is start charging to register an account, $5 or so isn't enough to break anyones bank but would likely make getting repeatedly account banned for spam enough of a cost to eliminate or reduce it to a minor annoyance. Plus the $ would make it worth their while to ban the spammers in hopes they will re-register and pay more $. If they're worried about this reducing the number of new f2p people they could always re-invent the trial account setup and make it so you can play the starter planet without registering but need to register to leave starting planet. No real player spends more than an hour or so there anyways so eh if they do spam.
