  1. I've played this game since launch, and have played other MMOs off and on. My idea was this; what if, the Rakghoul invasion was made a recurring event in the style of Rift & Guild Wars 2 dynamic events. A server notification would go out saying that a derelict ship was about to crash land on a random planet (all instances). Players could then swarm onto that planet to help quell the invasion that would start in a random zone, and spread to the planet if not quelled fast enough on an instance. Rewards could be the DNA sample currency from the original event as well as the Companion customizations and other event themed cosmetic gear, all Bind to Legacy.

  3. The "race against the clock" was a metaphor, not an indication of an ACTUAL timer.
  4. I know the idea of Guild Capital Ships has been kicked around since launch, and it's a great idea, but I have an idea to go along with it. If we ever have them available, instead of having guilds purchase them, why not have an Operation to get it. Required that 80% of the Ops team be in the same guild. Story: Your guild is contracted to inspect a floating starship graveyard in the Unknown Regions, or somewhere else, and are allowed to keep any salvage after you ensure there is no sensitive data in the ships' data-banks. You come across a ship that looks to be in near working order, and appears to have been a Flag Ship of sorts, perfect place to look for the data. Upon boarding, you find that the ships auto-defense system has been activated, and you need to fight your way to the bridge. Obviously you have to check out the med-bay for supplies, Engineering to unlock certain parts of the ship, the armory/security to find a way to disable the droids, only to find that a group of Hut-Cartel scavengers is also there trying to unlock the data you were sent to find. It's a race against the clock to stop the Cartel crew from downloading the data! Boss 1: Boarding Repellent Droid (Basic Tank & Spank style Droid Boss) Boss 2: Medical/Restraining Droid (Similar to the Xander/EN-4C fight from Cademimu, but Reinstatement causes a debuff to speed & damage dealt) Boss 3: Automated Repair Droid (Spawns adds that it will heal if they aren't killed quick enough) Puzzle (Optional): 3 part coded puzzle to unlock Special Operations Armory Bonus Boss (Optional: Must complete 3 part bonus series & Puzzle): Enraged Force Apparition (Similar to Revan fight from The Foundry) Boss 4: Cartel Enforcers (Jarg & Sorno styled fight) Final Boss: Cartel Crew (3 bosses; one that will spawn adds from security console, one that will begin a slow heal on bosses & adds from science console, and Main boss who will direct security adds Rakghoul Supersoldier style)

  6. Same, but I can log on other servers. This is the 2nd time to my knowledge that Harbinger has gone down unexpectedly.
  7. I recently saw that access to Guild Banks may need to be purchased from Cartel Market for non-subscribing players. I'm not sure if this is a confirmed feature or not, but as a Guild Master, the prospect is a little concerning. My guild is set up so that members of a certain rank can access the Guild Bank, but now it seems that they would also have to add purchasing this ability to the list of prerequisites, I feel this is something that should be left up to the Guild Masters, not arbitrarily handed out via in-game purchase. What if a player uses their Cartel Coins for this access? Do they gain access despite not meeting the Guild's existing conditions, or would they be throwing away those coins in this instance? Secondly, you'd be charging for access to our Guild Bank, so would the Guild see anything in return? Would the Guild Bank receive a deposit of X amount of credits when a F2Player chooses to purchase access? Furthermore, whilst on the subject, are there any Guild Perks on the horizon for us? Bonus XP when partied w/Guildmates? A tithing scenario where a percentage of credits earned gets added to the guild bank? Other ideas that have been mentioned in my own Guild are the possibility of a customizable Guild Capital Ship, or possibly a Guild Symbol/Banner for in-game use. Perhaps the Cartel Coins used to purchase access could be deposited and later used to purchase such advancements for the Guilds. I'm interested to hear what BW and/or other players have to say on this subject.
  8. Unknown Heroes is a Republic based social guild. Our previous Guild-master had to retire due to personal issues and I'm leading the charge to a new day. Our goal is to find, train, and retain the finest players in the game, while creating a player friendly environment for our members to socialize and meet/make new friends. We have a guild website, Vent server, 4 tab guild vault, and helpful player base who can give pointers and a helping hand when it's needed. We are always accepting new players or any level and any class. Feel free to send me a PM if interested, and I'll add you to my friends list and keep an eye out for your characters. Hope to hear from some new faces, and perhaps a few old ones as well.
