  1. its not that great. a mmo should have as many players actively participating at the same time as possible and this model would go directly against this. for every one player you would have # AIs INSTEAD of players, which would work great in counterstrike or similar games where you just cant find 9 other people to fill your 10v10 but in a MMO where in order to be even average you need to have mastery over 10+ abilities at a time a bot would not cut it. this is pretty much evidenced in any game that uses AI ever. this wouldve been a pretty good idea if youd said 1 squad leader and # other players in the squad. not everyone is a leader afterall.
  2. the reward is just cash dont worry about it. keep trying every so often and itll fix itself.
  3. Mechintel is 100% right Complain all you want (and complain you will), but normals are NOT meant to be used to gear up for hard modes. Normals ARE meant to be pugged and so the sole reason why there is no master looter option is because pugs, according to bw, are *****. The slightest possibility that ninja looting is possible is the only reason why ML is not available. Normal 8 mans drop the exact same loot, minus trinkets, as hard 4 mans. If you want to gear up the path given to you by bw is hm 4 mans. 8 mans are for content purposes only and yes you really should feel lucky that they drop loot at all.
  4. generally in order to make a successful raid you want to have the scenario be a familiar setting that the pc has an attachment to in some way, such as saving some place the pc has spent a lot of time on. something like that. the story should have an immediate and lasting effect on the outcome of the worlds storyline. ie, having the world react one way to the pc before the kill is achieved and have the world react another way after the kill is achieved. the boss fight needs to have multiple challenges in it and those challenges need to be tuned multiple times for very easy, easy, middle, hard, very hard, and extremely hard difficulties. a fight with 3 mechanics is pretty common, four is typically an end zone boss, and 5-7 is typically end of story boss. progression again should be tuned about 5 times, very easy to extremely hard, with rewards being given out appropriately. the rewards should be distinct and each have their own importance levels. for example the very easy wards should be the very best rewards in the very easy category.

  9. there was no tank switching done at all. powertech on jarg and warrior on sorno. we didnt even have that good of a group makeup and we still downed it. 12k hit is only 60% of your hp so that shouldnt be an issue at all really. only part we had issue with is sorno missile+railshot+thermal combo for instant 30k+ but we dealed
  10. no heat blast is not bugged and there is nothing bugged about this encounter /thread
  11. laf this is totally possible to tank with 1 tank. we just did it last night with 2 tanks though. you should learn what the word bug means

  13. hm youre right. since youre obviously a contributing factor to the unbalance you should probably be banned from pvp in order to help balance pvp on your server
