  1. I was using Diablo as an example because the system in spirit is similar. A fair number of people are complaining that they have to grind out a ton now to get to lvl300, and my argument is that you're really not supposed to grind it out like that. It's not the point. No, as for other issues with the system, those complains may or may not be valid.
  2. . . . you guys do understand that this system is meant to not be something you max out right? It's like the paragon system in Diablo, the higher you go the better it gets, but you're not expected to actually 100% cap.
  3. Hell no, why would anyone want them back? I am loving my more mobile SW.
  4. I for one had not been playing for a while, due to my dislike of episodic format, but I've kept an active sub. I only just now saw that transfers were only 90cc. Why the hell is this not a free service for all players on dead / near dead servers? My server is pretty much a ghost town, and now it's even worse. I simply refuse to pay 1000cc to move all my characters, and thus am stuck. I would pay that much for a full character roster change, but per-character that is disgustingly overpriced. Some players may call this view 'entitled,' but am I not entitled to a massive multiplayer environment in a MMO? It is not an mmo if there are not even players to readily fill a single warzone in 30 min or more. Not to mention, I am paying for this game . . . if there is a problem with it, and I consider poor server popular a real problem, shouldn't the DEVS fix it? And fix it they should not at a inflated cost. Anyway, I highly doubt my complaining about it will actually make anything happen, but you never know.
  5. Hey yall, I'm sure this has been mentioned before, but I believe it merits saying again. Currently, the cartel market heavily favors single character players. As far as getting the most money from players sporadically, this works. A fair number of players are probably willing to just spend a bunch of money on collection unlocks, and on repurchasing unlocks for each alt - like Treek. However, I believe a much larger number of players would be willing to spend money on the cartel market if we had more alt support. Here are a few suggestions I have for fixes which I think would ultimately bring in more money through more purchases by more casual players. 1. No CC fee for legacy unlocks. 2. All cartel items auto-bind legacy Wide . 3 No extra charge for HK / Treek - purchasing once via cartel coins unlocks for all characters. The cartel market has made some good changes as of late, but it can be better. I honestly believe less 'nickle and dimeing' players will eventually net higher sales and more profit - not to mention higher player satisfaction. I know I personally would spend more money on the cartel market if it were not for the plethora of small fees and annoyances for my alts. What do you all think? Yes, no? Any opinion is valid, and remember that this are just my own personal thoughts on the matter. Thanks,
  6. hey all, I'm looking to purchase the Cassus Fett chest piece for a non-over-inflated price. Got 2 mil credits and some decent trades available.
  7. Thanks for the info all. My first play through I was thinking it was a pretty short time, much more satisfying knowing it's over years.
  8. Hey all, I've seen a lot of posts looking at specific time tables for each class. IE: Which story came first or before others. What I want to know, is about how dose each chapter take? Doesn't need to be specific for class, just general. Like about how long is it from start to current content in years. Thanks
  9. I love the idea of that, but unfortunately a large part of the mmo format is about new baddies. Perhaps a mini-expansion, like galactic star, could do this though. Like give us a 5-10 $ crew dlc. That would be awesome, and would certainly renew my faith in SWTOR for the foreseeable future.
  10. he is expressing his concern as a player about a change to his game experience. Now is the time to bring up any worries he may have about future content, not after it comes out. Bioware does look on the forums to see how people react to things. So if enough people feel similar they might change it a bit.
  11. To the guy saying how people seem to want Kotor 3, and this is not it. Yes, this is not Kotor three, but it was marketed as a story based game. Right from the get get that the biggest thing they spoke about, and the thing they most hyped. The massive story and voice acting is what set this game apart post launch, and to drop it now would be a real shame. -- They could add class stories in later a few at a time, but it would not flow as well. Secret world uses this sort of adding in story to existing world, but they are not as theme park like as SWTOR. Bioware would have to make their worlds more open if they wanted it to feel natural.
  12. I could be wrong here, but I highly HIGHLY doubt it will be grouped in. The two are completely different play styles, and bioware would have to be blind not to see it. Regardless, no use worrying to much until you know for sure.
  13. Cool cartel pack gear would be nice. Like full set of Mira's or something along those lines
  14. The reason they do not focus on class stories is a simple matter of cost versus gain. They can pump out generic filler story for cheaper then class specific plots. Class specific would require 8 times the content of one filler ark. I am willing to bet they are working on something, but it will just take much longer to come out then this filler stuff. Think of the class story content as full feature expansion packs. These can take anywhere from 1-3 years to get out. In the mean time we get random content to keep us busy and playing.... at least I hope this is what they are doing. I to am into this game for the class story, so if they are not planning more then I am out.
  15. New content is new content. So you do not get your ideal content this time around, I am sure your wants will be addressed eventually. Just like how people who got into this for the class stories have not been given anything since launch. Also I sort of doubt the space PvP will be included in the normal matchmaker. Just like how OP's are not included in FP group.
