  1. I play a Sith Iquisitor Assassin outfitted for tanking on the Ajunta Pall server (RPPvP) as well as a Bounty Hunter Mercenary Healer, and I'd like to share my thoughts about pvp. I have been playing since early access started, and even played a bit before that. At lower levels, pvp can be pretty rough, but it's worth hanging in there, for sure, once you get your core abilities (aka, Force Leap for Warriors/Guardians) things really start to take off. Not having any level brackets in Warzones can be painful at times, but I haven't had it happen to me on more then one occasion in a row (or we'd get our fair share of 50s). But, in the off chance you end up fighting a group of 50s who are working together, that is going to be very, very painful if your not 50 yourself. I do think at some point brackets should be implemented, but not at the loss of potential PvP, and the gain of long Warzone queues. One thing I am vastly dissapointed in is the Resolve bar. I remember reading about the resolve bar, expirementing with it in testing and thinking it hadn't been tweaked, ect ect, but no, it really is just generally, flat-out useless. It needs to be liberally more sensitive then it is now. I would say Crowd Control in general is out of control, but unlike other MMOs, EVERY class get's several CC's, so it balances it out. The reason it needs to be more sensitive (and of course be tweaked in adjacent with the anti-CC abilities) is because it promotes lazy, terrible playing. You get four feet from the huttball goal, get stunned, break out, and get stunned again, dead. Every CC from every enemy player on you all at once. It allows players to simply get that lazy, undeserved sense of acomplishment, when in reality, you should have never gotten that close. Crowd Controls, like 'Cooldowns' need to be staggered, throw your abilities around aimlessly, you risk wasting it and regreting it later, or setting the resolve bar off, setting your victim free. I would like to see ToR go in this direction. CC is a part of the game, and for the first time in my MMO life... I'm okay with that. But there needs to be limits. I'm so tired of Huttball, nothing is more frustrating then getting Huttball over and over again, getting paired with worst of your faction, and then going up against the best of it too. An 'Opt out of Same-faction warzones' option would suffice to me, I don't mind it so much when we're crushing Republic scum, but I don't like meeting fantastic Empire players/teams while they're dancing on my corpse. That and it's downright unimmersive. Here we are in a war with the Republic... and we're enertaining hutts? Pfft. I have no dislikes for Voidstar/Alderaan, other then I don't get to play it enough! This isn't some free for all/Arena type gameplay, I want to fight my enemies. In the recent patch, they raised the winning rewards and lowered the rewards for not winning. Granted, it's hardly noticable, I'd caution not to keep going down that road. On one hand, yes I get motivation to win is nice. On the other hand, I shouldn't have to suffer because my team won't pass the ball no matter how many times I say pass, or how many minutes go by where I'm on the top rafter away from all enemies. Winning should get a bonus, but beyond that, let personal performance guide the rewards. Lastly, since this DOES somehow relate to pvp, goodness Bioware, fix your filter system on items, sifting through my pvp vendor for days is treacherous. When I select 'Useable' at level 16 don't show me level 40 gear. Thanks for reading, see you on the battlefield.
