  1. JK/SW: I like the above idea of adding a sabre/pistol combo. Luke was always packing a sabre and a blaster. SI/JC: So here's my problem with the Inquisitor and Consular in general. Aren't these guys supposed to be the leaders of their order? Consulars are know for their diplomatic skills and the climax of the Inquisitor storyline is a seat on the Dark Council. So why am I doing all the dirty work? The SI/JC should be able to call upon a group of Acoyltes/Padawans ready for their trials (weak), or a pair of their Apprentices (Normal), and occasionally their most promising student Lord/Jedi (Strong). BH/Trooper: Melee tank or DPS class using Vibroswords (still sounds kinky) or Electrostaffs IA/Smuggler: Melee tank using a one handed vibro/electro weapons in the primary hand, and secondary holding a visible shield like the Sniper/Gunslinger cover shield
  2. Sorcerer/Sage: Summon teammate. Summons a teammate to your spot in the outside world. Can't use in dungeons, pvp, fleet, flashpoints, or ops
  3. So we're all aware of the various releases of the Star Wars films on VHS/DVD/Blue Ray etc. You know, add more Gungan Stormtroopers or Dewbacks, or digitzed Jabba the Hutt talking to Hann, and don't get me started on the Han/Greedo shot first thing. So why not add a "Directors Edition" to the lineup of Weeklies? Get the chance to re-live the betrayal of Havoc Squad in the Trooper Prologue or rekindle the puppy love when Dark Jaesa becomes your naughty Apprentice after Chapter I of the Warrior line. Remember how great it felt cleansing your Agent of the Onomataphobia in Chapter II? Relive the glory of your Knight's final confrontation with the Emperor Add a weekly to re-play the Prologue, Chapter I, Chapter II, and Chapter III. Most of those are done in instances which could be scaled to level 50. Some of the overworld stuff wouldn't be able to scale but those are usually just disable comm relays or get a badge or something quick anyways. With all the class quest choices you have along the way, they'd have to add something the journal or codex to track how you dealt with the various traitors of Havoc Squad or who your Sith killed or spared on their path towards Darth-hood They could also add a weekly Planet Questline too. Go back and dig up that thing that Czerka found or see what happens if you change your answer about the Gormak heresy
  4. So I'm sitting here killing time during my last hour of work before I can go home and play Diablo III when I wandered upon this thread. I'm a pre-order early game type of guy. Played the hell out of SWTOR with 5 level 50s and a Legacy level somewhere in the 30s. I had been a member of multiple guilds. All died within a couple weeks of me joining because people just gave up. Those of us that stayed quit and joined different guilds. Those guilds prospered for a couple of weeks worth of ops before others started giving up. Rinse and repeat. Most quit and went back to WoW or wherever they came from. The last batch of quits occured after 1.2. When everybody quit around 1.2 I had 3 level 50s. Since nobody in my guild was on and it was near impossible to PuG even Black Talon I started back on some Alts. In less than a month I got 2 mid teens toons up to 50. Did not group once on either. Running thru the same progression of planets as I had the other 3 and 4 times before there were never more than a dozen people on any planet except Belsavis. The excess population of Belsavis was due to a handful of 50s running dailies. One of my final toons was an Assassin that I did quite a bit of PvP with and experience pre50 and 50 PvP. I know everybody was upset about not having ranked Warzones in 1.2, but seriously when it's the same dozen or so people in every round on your team and the same dozen or so opposing faction what is the point of ranked warzones? Okay, enough griping. Now some suggestions 1. Start merging servers to solve underpopulation. If population starts increasing you can always turn another server back on. From a financial standpoint, BW/EA will save money by not running so many servers and wasting electricity 2. Is this an MMO or KOTOR II Online? Work on the multiplayer content please. 3. I played Star Trek Online for awhile. For those claiming SWTOR is bad, go try STO for awhile. Talk about Epic Fail. I got bored one time (before SWTOR launch) and went back and played abit for free. Still sucks, but they added a neat little feature called Re-Runs. Just like you can turn on TV and find a re-run of Star Trek somewhere, you can log in and Re-run your old missions. IMO this would be a nice replacement for the Ilum/Belsavis/Corellia grind. Scale past missions to level 50 and set a daily or weekly timer. For CQ quests make them H2 or H4's so there's at least some semblance of Multiplayer. Okay, off to fight Diablo. I'll check back to a Galaxy Far Far Away from time to time to see how things are going
  5. I just hit 40 on my Sniper (Marksman build) and haven't had any problems with knockback. Sure I get knocked back and stunned during fights. Big deal, it's supposed to happen and is part of the game. Just hit your F key and go back into coverage. If you're under some effect that prevents you from entering coverage for a couple seconds, spam your rifle shot until you can take cover. I've been running with Kalyio the whole time (with the exception of the Vector only part of the CQ). She holds aggro adequately and can take a beating as long as you keep her geared. Nothing fancy, I crafted an earpiece and 2 implants on an alt. Everything else is quest reward or loot drops. However I've been revving here more and more frequently, but I'm not concerned as I have always intended to replace her once I get Scorpio. Only problem I've had was the fight at the end of Chapter 1. But that's because the fight is buggy as has been discussed elsewhere on the forum.
  6. Anyone have recommendations for SWTOR friendly Gamepads or Gaming Mice?
  7. Which class is best ultimately depends on you and your play style Warrior: Juggernaut: Lead the charge into battle. Mr Hotshot Hey Everybody Look At Me while all my friends kill you. Heavy Armor Tank. Marauder: Remember that friend I said would kill you while you look at me, yeah that's him. 2 lightsabres and tons of damage. But squishy medium armor. Melee DPS Inuisitor: Assassin: Can be either an off tank or melee DPS. Also has some nice stealth abilities Sorcerer/Heal Spec: Healer guy that keeps tank alive or saves the Marauders and Assassins when they draw aggro Sorcerer/Lightning Spec: Ranged DPS/Burst. Force Lightning! Sorcerer/Madness Spec: Ranged DPS/DoT's
