  1. Loot is auto-assigned in normal mode - in hard mode and nightmare mode, it is all available for roll / master looting. This actually doesn't change an inherent issue we're having, namely that people with the gear or better gear are getting items in normal mode looted to them that they aren't using because they have better. I would prefer that some system be thrown in whereby the raid leader could toggle the loot master to full raid leader control over full game control. It is very disheartening to bring people who need gear and see the game assign loot to very geared people who have no need of it. That, or there needs to be a short window where items are tradeable (no more than 15 or 30 minutes).
  2. I just did it last night, second try. I am a Shadow, Infiltration spec. First try I used Lt. Iresso, he died around 65% as mentioned, had to vanish. Figured it was nearly impossible with a tank companion, as they just can't survive long enough to be useful. So I popped out Tharan, and it worked really well. The boss could barely get a cast off between the Holiday disorient, Low Slash, Mind Snap, and regular stuns. When I needed a full heal I would low slash and stop attacking, and I conserved my stun for chaining a long period for the boss to be CC'd. This worked quite smoothly, as much of the damage is from the casts and not from his melee. As a sage, I imagine it would be much harder, but I'm fairly certain this is intended to be a long, arduous fight, and you might do better (even if Tele or Balance spec) to just all-out heal a DPS companion, or do something similar with Tharan. Don't forget Unity / Channel the Force!
  3. I'm sure we have a few screamers in here too.
  4. First, ease up on the punctuation. I don't know what Question Marks did to you in the past, but I can't see any reason why you'd have to over-use them every time. As for server pops, there's 2 parts to that. Remember how we got into the game in waves? Yeah, me too. I know. Crazy, right? Well, it spaced people out pretty evenly, so rather than having 500 - 1000 people on Tython, Ord Mantell, Korriban, and Nal Hutta, there were maybe 200-300 in each to start with. And then they continued adding people, slowly, to keep that going. I don't have an exact figure, but between your Fleet Station, your 4 starter worlds, your flashpoints, and then every world up to a certain point, I'd bet you could add that up and find 5,000 people concurrently. But it's more or less spaced out so that there isn't a glut at any one point. There's no concentration of people in one spot, which is the point - questing becomes a nightmare when there's multiple people running the same quest in the same spot and the mob competition gets to "waiting for respawns." Soon enough, you'll find your 500 people in one spot, with 3,000 off questing and 1,000 in flashpoints. For now, enjoy your ability to quest with relative impunity.
  5. Quoted for great justice. The number one problem lies with the players - stop buying currency. Play the game, make money legitimately within the confines of the game, and have a security key just in case. It's not hard to participate in the economy.
  6. Is this DVX from Eredar? If so, I remember you, your misogynistic article about how women gamers are always bad, and your general holier-than-thou attitude, despite being only moderately good. I see your sense of self-worth hasn't changed. If not, I still disagree completely, but you can keep subscribing to World of Warcraft and no one will be upset. This clearly is not a game you would enjoy. Go ahead and unsubscribe, or keep paying $15/month to come on here and complain.
  7. I had already lost all hope I ever had, so I just laugh.
  8. I'm sorry, I think you didn't get the memo. The format was that you had to complain about anything they did that didn't fit the plan. You said you received six days of Early Access? You need to complain that they don't know math at BioWare. As always, keep this correspondence between us. Sincerely, Faux News
  9. False. They have been consistent in telling you when EGA would start, and the order you would get in. If you don't know that, you have purposefully been keeping yourself ignorant or simply misunderstood, which, in either case, reflects back on yourself. You paid for the game, and to have access and a free month starting from December 20th. You will get that. Anything else is extra. Stop raging and wait, patiently.
  10. Played Consular to 45 in Beta; enjoyed the story all the way up. It's not bad at all - I always wanted to know what came next.
  11. You need archaeology fragments / tablets as well. If you want to be self-sufficient, take Arch. If you want to have money (and spend a lot of that on materials - keep that in mind) take slicing.
