  1. no thanks, we don't need carbon copies of wow o meters. The game has never needed them and we don't need them now. The next thing naturally people will then want is dps meters.. the next logical step would be, selective choosing over those who who bought to win, particularly leveling up. I simply do not believe there is enough substance in this game to warrant such meters..most swtor content is /facepalm easy..including nightmare (joke mode)
  2. hey thanks for this. It's amazing how many people give up before getting their invulnerability shield. Got to love the loads of xp you get, for doing nothing more than a couple minutes in a quest. just bucketfuls full of xp
  3. once you have game booster launched, let it tweak everything then let it sit in your tray. Then manually launch the game, it works perfectly.
  4. it is really beyond my comprehension that you think we should need to ask, i mean in this day and age, and the serious hog resource this game is, there should have already been a 64 bit client, which no doubt would help run this game smoother for everyone or at least I hope it would. i'd understand the asking if you developed this game in the early 2000's, but as mentioned previously I am stunned that you think you need to ask us do we want a 64 bit client, when it should have been available before launch, with all these serious problems with the game loading twice and causing all kinds of issues. Yes please give us a 64 bit client and make this game easier on 64 bit systems
  5. rather see more content and events that all levels can participate in than double xp..sure it's nice, but you have bigger and more important things you should be concentrating on.
  6. Is anyone else having problems logging into the game? I login, get to the server selection screen, and there are no servers available anywhere. Just blank? I am going to attempt a repair, since that became available after I updated after this patch# EDIT: the repair did nothing to fix blank server screen.. subscriber too
  7. thank you for your response, I will go look at your link
  8. playing devil's advocate for a moment, where do the credit sellers get their credits from? They would need to make tremendous amounts of credits if they wanted to sell them, and the obvious and quickest way would be over inflating items on the GTN. Much like they do in practically all MMO's out there. The amount of times I have been whispered or seen credit seller advertisments in chat does not make this game immune to them doing what they do. As I see it, the GTN is a little worthless to a new player, because not only can you not buy anything within a reasonable amount of credits, but it harms the economy in the long run, the little guy / new guy gets hurt / stung the most, because he cannot even buy things from the GTN because of the over inflated prices. If the crafting is dead, you can bet that the GTN will follow it sooner than a lot of people think, it's the law of economics...over price for too long, and people stop buying, except those at the top end of the scale with the most credits, which will lead to the GTN becoming obsolete. The developers need to do something, to ensure that never happens, by making the economy and GTN fair, right now, unless I buy credits I cannot buy anthing my character needs. Healthy at the top, but drastically atrocious at the bottom.
  9. the cost is too high when you are low level with no credits, it makes it impossible to buy anything. 5k for skill lvl 2 might mod..ludicrous. There must be other methods to obtaining these mods without bothering with rip off merchants. Right now I am only level 9, have no idea which profession makes the mods, enhancements etc, any help would be appreciated
  10. Hi , I have the CE edition of swtor from back when it launched. I decided to move on after about 2 or 3 weeks because of various commitments. I am now back again, and want to play with other like minded people in a friendly active guild. I am still trying out the various classes so my characters are still only low level. I want to learn to play this game and all it offers, so far I am enjoying the consular and Jedi Knight classes quite a bit. I can play most hours during the day and evening, and I am based in europe.
  11. I am a new player, and took up bioware's 7 day friend's trial, without it , id probably would not have bought the collectors edition and took out a monthly subscription. Unfortunately it appears I have took up the subscription and bought the game at a very bad time. I don't know anybody, and further all the european servers are very much empty. When you are new, and playing on the a huge majority of empty servers in europe, it doesn't just feel very lonely, but with a lack of guilds , it making me now consider whether I want to stay on board, after all wha good is buying a mmo when there is virtually no population in europe who play it? \i would love to stick with this mmo, it looks good, feels good but with no one to play with and no guild to join, it means i loose out on a significant portion of the game... I want to join a guild , take part in events and such , and also as a new player to learn, but to be honest with almost zero population in europe playing the game, i simply have no idea what to do, I am completely lost on what to do to enjoy this new game i bought several days ago...any help and recommendations would be helpful...i dont want to be stuck on the many empty servers in europe...i want to be part of something fun and exciting!
