  1. What do you guys find to be the best Sniper/Slinger spec for both solo and group arena?

  3. Points to your ranking from medals Earned is the 2nd stupidest thing i have ever heard, AND points for MVP is by far the dumbest idear some1s ever posted on a MMO forum. Im sure some1s commented below and told you why. secondly i don't think its simply win loss ratio, if you beet some1 with a much lower ranking than you your ranking dose not move much, if you beet some1 with a higher ranking than you your ranking will move up alot more. Also games played does sort of come into it, if you win your first 10 games and get your ranking from that, on your theory i would be at the max ranking and could never get higher than that, which is not true
  4. P.S. Ranked formats with 8 Players need ( huttball and WZs ) Can be queued with 8 or 4 So two groups of 4 can be put together, i think this is very viable

The queue system should work like this: Normal Queue WZs Normal Queue Arenas Then the ranked queue (all ranked would have to be in groups no solo); Ranked Arena Ranked WZs Ranked Huttball (with 3 different maps) WHAT! 3 ranked queus when the 1 we got now doesn't even pop well, At any given time there will be only 1 Rank format you can play, E.G There will be a Ranked calender This week Ranked arena might be Mon, Wed and Sat Ranked WZ Tue and Sun and Ranked Huttball Wed and friday (days will change every week so people that cant play some days/nights will not miss out on something, change over will be a the daily reset time with 30min over lap for people who queued just before. Also all Ranked games NEED TO BE PLAYED ON THE PVP SERVER of that region. E.G. west coast has 3 servers PVP PVE and RP PVE When a Ranked pops i get transfered to the PVP server and than back again Transfers happen instantly how hard could this be. Also back to the ranked huttball, The 2 extra maps that they need to advantage different classes some how, so theres no OP classes for huttball

I also posted this in the server forms, There is a republic player name Moophy on the Bastion server, who queues for rank solo then leaves the arena either right at the start or after his team loses 1 round. He is the reson i stoped playing my pub toons because when his on its an instant loss, the **** even quit after we won the first round and then we lose to 2nd round. Now that i play my imp toon i still hate seeing him in the other because before round 1 he quits leaving a 4 v 3 which isn't fun for either team. this would be turning people of arena and the game and he needs to be removed from the game. There also needs to be an arena cool down of atleast 20 mins for quitters because there is no back fill system in arenas leaving the team ****ed. Bioware get rid of this TOOL
  8. So, I was wondering if any hard core pvpers have tried the sin hybrid know as dark maul ( 12 / 31 / 3 ) spec. This spec would be run in full dps gear (but wouldn't mind getting the tank armorings for the 4 set bonus) Has anyone had success with this set up as the tank in ranked arena? Cheers,

Hey, I'm looking for a APAC guild with the hope to do grouped ranked most nights, I'd even consider a non-APAC guild as I could join in on weekends, i'm not looking for the best guild, just some good solid players that we could work towards getting better. I have a Scoundrel and Gunslinger with good pvp gear and fully augmented. I would also like to side level a toon that the guild needs for its arena team. Please msg me if you would like to try me out Cheers
  11. Why are there DPS only classes? I feel this is a error by this game and other mmo's alike, This causes a few problems like: 1. why shouldn't a DPS only class be better at dps that other classes? why should a class that can have tank like abilities and taunts do the same dps as a class that can't taunt ect. BUT if am playing a class that can tank or heal also but I chose to dps as I enjoy the classes offensive play style why should I be penalized? My mains a dps only class (slinger) and I always felt I should be the best dps class (with sent's)(which we are since 2.0) I then went on to level a scoundrel and realized being able to heal in full dps spec means **** all, non-existent nearly , and I felt that my dps specs should be as good as any classes. I don't know which way I would go with this one 2. There is too many dps any ways, adding one more tank tree and one more healing tree would help to even this out. 3. after 10 WZs as a dps as most of us know its fun to change it up abit and go tank or healer, I normally just change toons but have to put up with the idiotic behaviour of the half brainers that congregate in 10 -29 and 30 - 54 WZs. A total different spec just makes more fun. Just some ideas; Gunslinger tank tree (sorry bye bye Sab) in cover the gunslinger is the most harder tank, significant damage reduction and cool downs. but take him out of cover and he his brought down as quick as any other dps smuggler. also while in cover guard absorbs 10% more damage but while out of cover guard dose not absorb any damage Sent healing tree ( this ones a bit harder) melee healer is it possible? small 30m heals with large 10m heal and huge 4m heal and smash like 5m aoe heal. they could even have a cool down that lasts 6 seconds 'all damage is reflected and converted into healing to nearby allies'. (a talent in this tree would have to be something like 'leap can now be used on allies and has no cool down if used on a ally). What you guys think? thanks for reading PS I pvp only

Ok so if you get max affection on one of you companion you get a 1% stat increase ( crit, surge ect ) and this appears to unlock to all characters. if so is there any other reason to get other companions to max affection if you already have that stat increase unlocked through a different character? (apart from better crew skills results) also are there another way apart from datacrons to get these kind of stat increases? Thanks guys
  13. it's really sad because this has to be the best MMO iv played, On the APAC servers lag was really a non-issue however lag on this server is unfortunately going to drive me away from this game. this is not a 'threat post" to try and get bioware to do something as I truly believe nothing can be done now as the only fix I see is playing on a APAC servers which just isn't possible any more. I solely PVP and find it extremely frustrating when ( this happens 10 times at least every WZ) I click or press a ability and I don't get a global cool down or animation just 2 seconds late its all of a sudden on cool down, however the ability didn't apply its affect/or damage to my target, or every 4th ability lags 1 second before the global which in affect is a 2.5 global cool down and with huttball respawn my opponent has already got the ball before I see it on my screen, I could go on forever but I wont Speaking of huttball, huttball is incredible im going to miss this the most. Any one got any suggestions for a similar pvp game with servers in Australia, I tried WOW and that's like mehhh! babies game with what seem like boring pvp concepts ( 2v2 3v3 sounds interesting tho can't do that till high lvl ) and after shooting blaster pistols other weapons don't seem to be as cool.   14. Go figure, the 2 dps ONLY classes are the best at dps makes sense that a tank class can no long out damage and out last them
