  1. Hell no... Pool Hatred/Gather Strengh doesn't worth the cost anymore. 4% On each stack? Having 5 stacks, therefore you have three possibilities: _ You are fighting with a noobish guy who's spamming his debuff _ You are, for example, in voidstar and being slown down by a jugg/guardi while going to the next room (you have to go there as fast as you can, so you don't have the time to hit) _ You have 4 or 5 people on you ***, that means Before, with all those stacks, you could deal +50% on your next melee attack, and that could save your life, or it could be your last suicidal attack to help your friends to finish a target. Even with one or two stacks (so 10 or 20%), that could be usefull, and you could hope to have a big crit on your target. On light targets, I could have crit coming up to 4900/5000 dmg with my hybrid tank. However, now, this skill clearly need the 5 stacks to be usefull, because 4 or 8% is not really enough to make a sensible difference (with 8%, instead of dealing 3000 dmg, you would deal 3240... yay!).
  2. Ok... Great. And What about the Jedi Knight/Sith Warriors? Nothing about them? Don't you plan to fix the Defense/immortal tree? No? Ok... screw you bioware... Every class has its change, but not these one. Why? Your new guardian slash is completly ******, and is not even on par with the Zaelous leap or the Overhead Slash, it costs too much, does low damage, and has a higher CD than OS with vigilance. Damn! This skill should be the most ****** skill in defense tree since it's the tier 7, the ultimate f*cking skill, and everyone is giving it up for...OS.
  3. Poor guy, you really think you'll learn me how to play? Even now, I can really get well, even with my poor guardian defense spec'ed. But this is not because I can quite often finish 1st of my team in we that I don't see any problem there . The thing is, a healer that can stealth, don't you think this is a bit awkward? No, well, let's admit that? If classes are sooooo well balanced, why are there so many complaints about the PT's/Vanguards? Why do I often read that Assassin/Shadows/Vanguard/PT are a bit better tanks than guardians? Why is the sniper/gunsliger the only class who can cast his AoE on himself, while others have to cast it at 4meters and cannot move (trololo I can survive orbital strikes casted on myself)? About ther 31/31/31 trees said before, there is a reason why we can't do such thing, no? But to say that I learn to play, you tipically may be a player that plays a "one buttoned" class, because you seem to think like a chimp. Just about total Ignorance, I'm not ignorant at all, but maybe 2 self heals are already too much when you are supposed to be a "DPS", even if it can't sustain heavy dps, and even if can't really heal allies, he can go away, heal itself, and be back in the game in a few seconds. I think I've played MMO's for more years than you (yes yes, I can assure it). The fact is, in every MMO, there are balance problem, that why there are patches, MMOs will always be patched. Saying "L2P" is just ignoring the problem, and it doesn't make it disappear. Maybe in a next update, other classes will be a bit overpowered. By the way, the fact is you are far more things to learn than I do. Moreover, is not a reference of PvP. Lineage 2, Aion are, Wow is not at all. And if you wanna talk about wow, Paladins can heal, here, tanks can't. Talking about class balance is not a blasphemy, it's a normal process. But it seems your ego prevents you from doing this. Same conclusion as yours.
  4. Yeah, balancing classes would be quite a good thing. In what kind of RPG, a heal can DPS/Stealth too (scoundrel/operative)? In what kind of RPG a DPS (sorc/sage dps tree) can heal itself as hell? In what kind of RPG, half of the classes are able to heal or tank? In what kind of RPG a stealther can so easily stealth while being hit by others? In any normal MMO, it costs you alot, not in SWTOR. Maybe, to balance a little bit the classes we should supress the ability to heal when you chose the dps tree. You (bioware), really have to work on these things. Your balance is kinda screwed. Maybe you designed well classes for a solo game, but not really for a multiplayer game. No, a healer should NOT be able to resist like a tank, that is not NORMAL (mercs and commandos).
  5. This post isn't about debating if rift list is a trial of a F2P... On top of that, both of you can be proved right... because trial is kind of a F2P... when you try, you play for free. So please, calm down.
  6. About drying out my wallet, if they are doing like LOTRO or DDO, it won't be the case. By the way, until F2P comes, we (and so you) are right to worry about that. But for now, this kind of affirmation is pure speculation. Time will tell.
  7. Hi everyone, First of all, I would really like that this thread to be "troll free". This is a serious question, therefore it may requires argumented anwers. The fact is, in somehow 3 months, SW:TOR is going to be F2P (or freemium). Like every player, I'm kinda concerned about the model they will implement (LOTRO like? P2W like? ...). But whatever that model will be, there is one big question: What's next? Indeed, F2P can be a good way to attract new players, using the free mode like a bait for subscribers. But, I you want players to subscribe, and people who already subscribed to keep doing so, your game as too keep evolving. Thus, you need to give majors updates to your game. The problem is, today, SW:TOR is experiencing some ugly problems, bugs, and some of them seem to be caused by some misconceptions during the developement. For example: when you are lagging, your game freezes. This is the very first time I see that in any online game! Don't you know how to use async TCP connections? If you don't know, Boost::asio (async_read & async_write with callbacks) and Qt (non blocking connection and signals/slots and you rule the world) give really easy ways to do it. This is just an example, but players are really expecting bug fixes. The, the content. I'm a real fan of PvP, and warzones are, for now, enough to keep my subscribing. But, this game is a f*ckin' SW! I know you have to satisfy both of PvEboys and PvPBoys, but all that game should be about kick Imps/Reps asses! What is the point of being a super cool Jedi/Sith/Bounty Hunter/Soldier with über stuff, if you can have epic battles? Castles in Lineage 2, Forteresses in Aion... RvR is a nonsense if there are no battle to "rule the world"! As PvP content is something you MUST add, therefore, class balancing for pvp is not an option but mandatory... believe me. About PvE, even if I'm not a fan of PvE, be sure you'll have to add PvE content too, and not just add a f*ckin droid. More Flashpoints, Ops, adding levels, skills... You also must have to do all of this. To keep your players, you have to give them new things. As SW:TOR is lacking of endgame content, this should be a priority. I'm probably mising many points, this post can't be exhaustive, and it doesn't pretend to do so. But I'm really expection Bioware to give us some feedback (I mean "REAL" feedback).
