  2. Such rates would be ok if the gear actually was dropping from command crates .. How will the situation that from 100 crates you get 0 yellow pieces be adressed in near future ?
  3. I tend to be positivie, so thank for at least this drop ... Anyway the new rates are still ridiculous with respect to: - prices of upgrade are extreme - RNG in crates is so ****ed that from 100 Tier 3 crates you get 0 - 1 242 - still not bound to legacy ??? This is nothing just scratch on surface, pointless, not fixing any of core problems of the system. DO SOMETHING REAL FINALLY ! Thank you.
  4. Boost ETERNAL CHAMPIONSHIP ! and put its weekly on Operations terminal. As EC is in fact top solo content it should award much more than one planet of weeklies.... Anyway ... boosting operations and flashpoints is good news, but ... add also Unassembled components there, at least a few - upgrades are not pvp only mechanic. PVP should be much better source, but anyway ... Legacy boxes ? good news Overall, it seems like good direction.

  7. Hi, just one but important question: In case of Tier 2, Tier 3, are we talking about: 234, 240 purples respectively ? or 236, 242 yellow legendaries ? Also, Can I use shell that already dropped from command crate (purple Tier 2 or yellow Tier 2) and upgrade it to purple / yellow Tier 3? Thx, for answer
  8. Well, before 5.0 launched I was thinking, lets wait and see. However, the level of grind and RNG is disgusting. Level 40 = 1 set piece ? How can anyone consider such **** exciting or fun ? Casuals and semi casuals have no chance to catch up in tjis crazy system. It could have been fun, but not like this and buffing flashpoints x 2 will not solve anything. In one month, ranked PVP will be dominated by those who grinded intensively or bought mods adn enhancements of GTN for crazy prices. No balance will exist. And the rest people willing to go to operation will stop because there is no way to gear sensfully. I have always been big fun of this game. But this system is so annoying and demotivating that this is the first I consider the outrage all around right thing to do. FIX THIS ! ASAP !
  9. In the beginning, I was thinking .. lets wait and see how it plays out. This system played out the worst imaginable way. The set piece chance is so low that it is disgusting. They said on stream that I would receive 1 set piece in each operation - that is correct . But after 3 operations I would have 1 - 2 set pieces for granted. Now I have nothing - 40 ranks, 1 set piece. How the could think this is motivating some how ? The only people which benefit are those selling 48 and 51 mods for horrendous prices. This system is the most annoying fail in the development of this game.
  10. Yes, the ops need serious rebalancing from the ground. Already in 3.0 the difficulty was messed up (annoying Underlurker, Torque, messed with RNG and bugs). The 4.0 messed it other way round, some bosses became trivial, some became new end of the line (Master Blaster) I share your worries that 5.0 will mess it to a completely new level again. I think OPS would need some overhaul in difficulty levels - now when gear is not tied to OPS it is a good opportunity: - SM (story ?) - no need to touch this with bolster etc. - HM (veteran ?) - keep as is but normalize (bosses out of the line to standard level, up or down) - Master - keep all NIM tactics but HM damage / health of bosses - NIM - keep NIM tactics and NIM dmg/health This would offer new opportunities even for semi casual raiders while keeping NIM for hard core raiders (and granting unique titles, mounts, ...).

  12. Hi Eric, The ignored Discipline is a mistake and it will make it very unrewarding, I would kindly ask to reconsider ... Tanks and healers and dps juggs etc. will have very frustrating time gearing up. How about instead of completely random gear reward a random token ? I.e. crate would drop Unassambled Bracer - and I could exchange it at vendor as now and put in on alt or whatever. That would be good compromise and everyone would benefit. RNG level similar to 4.0 state. Or at least drop random tokens when on MAX Command rank ... If done this way everyone will be happy, feel rewarded and the Command sytsem will be great feature! My concern is that SO MANY created alts during events now will be wasted because it is not in human power to gear them one by one ...
  13. Hi all, certainly latest news have brought in some controversy, however I think it is important to clear our heads and come out with something constructive. So I will try to formulate some ideas: 1) Unification of PVE and PVP gear - I think Expertise system and gear separation was fundamentally flawed concept, the thing is that the stats on SM and NIM level gear are closer since 4.0, and especially in non-ranked PVP it will not be crucial. 2) However, for ranked PVP I think that not only Valor, but also gear rating should gate the access. 3) Total RNG of gear drops is strange, especially with TANK/DPS and DPS/HEAL classes - if it at least follows the Discipline, it would be something ... otherwise it will be absolutely annoying. Some balance of quantity of loot drops and rng range must be found. Otherwise it will be totally screwed. 4) As the loot from operations is no longer a thing and operations will be run for XP and vanity items - new and interesting vanity rewards from bosses should be added. 5) BALANCE of operations should be carefully tuned before release. The situation after 1.4 revamp was that some OPS are primitive in HM while some are similar to NIM difficulty (Master Blaster, Revan) and it is due to bugs, unbalanced encounters. The bosses with annoying RNG and unbalanced mechanics should be fixed. 6) Make NIM (master) ops slightly more accessible. The fact is that the raiding community is already reduced. Hard core raiders became minority. I suggest that NIM should be about mechanics, not the numbers - now without full 224 or overprized NIM crystal, you have no chance. All NIM mechanics should stay, but bosses HPs and damage should be equal to HM. (Yes, beat me for being crybaby, whiner, etc. ...) Now NIM ops are interesting content, but for zero audience and there is difference between challenge and desperation and frustration. 7) Traditional plead... make also 4-man content on the NIM level (even if it means making new difficulty of flashpoints by tuning bosses numbers up...) Thanks for attention :-)

While I agree that flashpoints should receive some buff in terms of loot drops+difficulty (NIM flashpoints wished by many people for years) to make them worth it, I absolutely disagree with your reasoning on 3.0 HM ops - I think that BW screwed it badly - they created challenging pseudo HM/NIMs which were absolutely out of line from previous HMs. This lead to only one thing - non-hardcore raiders were disgusted by overtuned bosses full of bugs and annoyance (Torque, Underlurker) and stopped. Hardcore players finished Revan / Cora in a month and left because there was nothing to fight for any more. I think that Torque and Lurker drove away more raiding people that actual lack of new ops.
