I have 5 republic characters and 2 Imperial characters, (3 of which I only play with my wife) but would love to see some sort of legacy unlock so that I could have more. I played through chapter 1 of the bounty hunter story with a merc back in beta, and would like to do both that and an inquisitor, but don't have enough slots on the server I'm playing on. I've considered splitting my republic and imperial classes over two servers, but now with the ability to mail items and money to your cross faction alts, I'd rather they all be on the same server/legacy.

After trying out a few different specs, I think I'm sold on this one: http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#700bsrrbRoRgZbIZh.1 I'm consistently over 250K (hit 450K once) and rarely (unless I dropped into a WZ late) under 100K dmg. I went back to my original spec just to make sure it wasn't that I had just gained skill and awareness, and after 10 or so WZs over two days I was still having a hard time getting anything over 200k without a pocket healer. I started reading this thread, found it amusing for a bit, and then realized this is the: Biggest troll ever... My kid can make up better stories than this.

Marketing... It's all about pulling in more customers and apparently there's problems they want to fix for the weekenders... Not that I'm personally happy about it, but that's how it goes.

Glad to know it's not just me. So it looks like I need to respec and probably start using sabotage charge more. This is how I'm currently spec'd (31/7/3): http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#700rsrbbMsRxzZbc0MZh.1 I use rapid fire all the time to spam speed shot and then quickshot when enemies are around 1/2 health, which usually kills them, or at least takes them down to where an aim shot will take them out... Any other suggestions on PVP specs are more than welcome, I want that battlemaster gear and need to grind valor.

So I hit 50 with my GS last week, and have the basic champion gear set (Field Tech all pieces but the head slot) and have a couple questions for the rest of you GS's with a SS build out there. Am I the only one who seems to get mugged by 2 sorcs and a marauder and owned in every damn PVP match where we don't have a good healer who can focus on keeping me alive? If I have healing, I can get well over 100k dmg, destroy DPS and healers alike, but if not (or the healer's just focusing on tanks), I spend 30% of the match in the respawn zones. Is this standard, or do I need to go back to the drawing board on PVP strategy? I'm constantly using my defensive skills and try to stay off to the side to avoid AOEs and the like, but it seems like if there's more than 1 person attacking me, I'm stun locked and then dead in under 5 seconds.

Likewise. It's not that hard to develop on WP7...
