  1. To summarize: 1. I'm tired of plunder like economy (kill, plunder, dismantle and pray to learn schematic). Where is all that high tech industry in SF games? Where is player character invention? Why can't I research items on my own without killing? 2. I'm tired of limiting my choices with character development even further. How hard can it be to read skill description and make a choice? Before I was able to customize my build more (I liked some of hybrid builds I had). I got a feeling required age to play SWtOR now dropped to something about 8 years old with parental approval...what about us older players? What about some of us that require more complexity from the games? Now I can't play my way. I have to play Your way since I'm almost a perfect clone of all other ppl playing my class in regards of skill sequence... 3. I recall times when each class had it own storyline on each planet. Now all I have is mass produced, general type story line (beside older lvl 1-50 ones), which was even more generalized since we have almost the same thing for empire and republic now. I agree new add-on has interesting story line... but play it 8 times (4 classes, 2 sides) and I bet You will get bored by seeing the same thing 8 times. 4. No class specific dailies, no bonuses for not killing as many targets as possible (light side player should get bonus for minimal collateral damage while completing objective...)... kill, kill, demolish, loot... I feel really tired of all that senseless violence while playing "good side" character? To make it short I do not believe SWtOR will be worth much of my time and any of RL credits I have if it goes further that way. To Bioware: I have enjoyed other Bioware products which I have on my hard drive even now (Baldur's Gate I and II combined into one big game in russian language for learning purposes) but I really don't like what happens to You now under american style management which I feel is strictly money focused.
  2. Inheritance is for lvl 14-16 if I recall well. Birthright is for ~lvl 32. Just save up those kits and eventualy u might get one set for new character. There is also class specific legacy gear (custom orange) which is tradeable within legacy so You can fill it up with mods and then send to other alt which is very usefull later in game.
  3. Everything made by human is flawed by definition so this game has bugs too but I enjoy playing it. Just try it out, do not hesitate to experiment with each class and do not limit Yourself to one side (republic/empire).
  4. I have nearly completed one mission with my old grade 5 artifacts (no ECM, no EM pulse). You need more practice:)
  5. Deffinitely not. I have made an attempt to complete 3 and failed 3 times. To say it shortly: gear gap between Grade 5 artifacts and grade 7 is too big and missions are designed in a way u will get hit eventualy (no chance to dodge at point blank range). All that damage builds up and u will simply get scrapped before mission ends. From those 3 failures I have already learned what I need and once I'm done with tweaking my two main characters all fleet comms I get will go for gear upgrades I need (9 ships...). This will keep me busy for a while:) Also if u do not like space combat You don't have to do them. We have other dailies/weekly missions available. P.S. Like in RL air fight, superior tech wins.
  6. I would love to have something like that:)
  7. Lifetime sub.. no, but I would support 1 or even 2 years plan. Personaly I prefer to pay for 2-3 months periods since there are a lot of things that can happen in my life like: 1. Getting married->no time to play for quite some time, u know kids etc. 2. Dying in RL->no time to play too unless I'm allowed to login from the other side. 3. Natural diseaster->self explanatory. 4. End of the world->obiously on means to play too since all who had survived would be busy staying alive. 5. Vacation mode-> this is where preferred status is handy.
  8. I agree. Cyborg should have additional slider with species selection, at last those which are normaly available for the class and those which are unlocked by player.
  9. Empire is militaristic society. Find out what happens if adress Your superior in army who is a woman with "Madam" or "Lady". You will probably end up cleaning toilet for the rest of the month:). In SWToR using Lady/Madam when speaking to female sith would probably end up with being electrocuted for several minutes:)
  10. Easiest solution would be: 1. Add buff for missing armor bonus to Dark Charge/Combat Technique as long as character is not flagged for PvP. 2. Make all FP/Ops to temporary turn off PvP flag as long as character is in instance.
  11. I do not see much difference between 350k limit and 500k limit unless it's unlocking some of legacy perks. All planet and class missions are doable with prototype gear (blue). I can tell that from my personal experience. If You talk about making grade 26/27 artifacts there is no secret that most crafters will make them for mats+fee, which is where credit limit is not an obstacle. If I were new player I would start with F2P model to learn how to play and advance class I want to lvl 50. After that I would pay for 2 months sub time, earn some creds to buy perks I want and after that I would carefully compare preferred status to subscriber status (costs, time I have for playing etc) and choose what suits me the most.
  12. I'm against it. F2P is meant to be limited. Don't forget You can always pay for 2 months, unlock what u want and then revert to F2P status again (instead of having account frozen like in other games).
  13. Full legacy lvl 50 set (moddable), including earing, implants, offhand, mainhand not bound to specific class:)
  14. More space missions and tougher ones, great:) P.S. Can we have something more than just shooting? For example smuggling type mission where main objective is to survive blockade to deliver goods?
  15. Legacy armor is not adaptive now. I have legacy lvl 50 but I do not own millions either which is why possibility of sharing one set of armor on my 4 alts using the same stat (for exmaple sniper, operative, scroundel, gunslinger) is a lot cheaper than gearing all 4 of them. Look at GTN prices for materials used to craft grade 26/27 gear for example.
