  1. Has there been any updates on being able to summon Darth Hexid? Ever since I recruited Paxton, I have been unable to summon the Hexid for my main; I maxed out her influence - so yeah, not letting this one go. I sent a ticket, all I got back were excuses. Is there anything I can do on my end? Like a trick/hack?
  2. It would be really nice to add gym equipment as strong hold décor: bench press, squat rack, rows of dumbbells, punching bags, shooting ranges, pull up bars, spar droids - make them interactive. I would love to have a room or two entirely focused on training. I think it will bring a more realistic edge to our toons - you don't keep your physical prowess/fighting skills tip top by osmosis...
  3. I have looked up forums on this subject, and from what I understand all companions have the same strength in all classes. However, I'm not sure that is necessarily true.... I'm a huge HK fan, the moment they erased its maxed out affection, I maxed out his influence. The droid is excellent in healing and of course an epic DPS; however it makes for a TERRIBLE tank. I also have my Talos Drellik maxed out for healing; I have set him for DPS and his rate of damage is not as fast as HK's. Also there is also NO way Talos and HK combined could out perform my maxed out Gamorrean Guard in tanking. So if companions have differences in tank and DPS performance, there has to be a companion best suited for healing. Rant: the only reason I have maxed out companions are for players that punk out in the middle of an FP or uprising, no warning/sry gtg, just leaves. For those that do so: yes, able to finish the FP/uprising without you, each and every time.
  4. Ok, so players running around with a full set of 248 rated gear completely baffles me. I have been lucky to collect four items of 248 (earpiece, implants, and bracers). However, every time I earn a tier 4 case its useless; I'm either offered an infinity amount of the implants I already have, an endless supply of weapons rated 244, or really useless armor. I have literally been FPing and PVPing a billion times. If I earn a cred for every time I've FPed/PVPed I could afford a dozen Gamorrean guard companions by now. If it was the old system with commendations, my main and all 6 alts would have top gear by now. Seriously, how are you all pulling this off? : /
  5. *sigh* ....I really miss my old HK-51 prior to Knights of the Fallen Empire. I try not to think about it but sometimes remembering has an iron grip. I really enjoyed the mission having to get the assassin droid's schematics and looking for the pieces. But it didn't stop there; I put lots of time/effort earning him and I swore to make it worth my wild. I bought him the best assassin droid parts the game had to offer, the best AIM augments I can get in the game and added them to EVERYTHING, assembled his knife and sniper rifle with ultimate comm mats, and provided him with ultimate comm implants/ear piece. When all parts and augments drop second standard, I upgraded everything; millions of credits tossed to my machine of death I spared no expense. There was nothing he couldn't take down; anyone in his path was reduced to an instant heap of organic paste and bone chips. My main he would follow is a DPS merc; we would go through dailies/weeklies in minutes! I didn't have to sell anything my horde of credits alone from runs overflowed! I also spared no expense maxing his influence to 50; and although he holds his own...he's half of what he once was. I understand why companions were altered, and beyond missing my old HK I think it's a great system. But in my main toon's storage is my HK's old knife, beside it a droid parts icon numbered 14 and I refuse to sell it; not even for billions of creds! Just a reminder of what I built from scratch that once was death incarnate...
  6. Yeah, I refused to use blazing bolts at first because unload looked better...but then I saw the damage stats... lol yeah, I got used to blazing bolts. But I see your point, blazing bolts looks...stringy? It just doesn't look like it has the stopping power unload has. But alas I got used to the appearance of blazing bolts and I noticed the damage increase from day one. I wanted to keep both and click them back to back but of course the cool down engages on both at the same time. Ah well I tried.
  7. I agree with the initial thread; you earned such strength after hours and hours of game play, you should be able to keep it. I've lifted weights for years, took some hard work and considerable time to lift hundreds of pounds on some of my main multi joint routines. Why on earth would I want to go light!? If a player wants to lower their toon's strength that's fine; but with a choice to do so.
  8. Now that you mentioned it I noticed all of the plumper body types seem to be silver or gold bordered characters; as if the extra layers gives them more endurance to attacks. LOL
  9. So, the only reason why I am even remotely interested in the Star Wars universe are mercenaries and bounty hunters. I know you are few, but where are my people that agree with me? I just can't get into Jedi and Sith...it's the same reason why I don't care for Superman. Here is a character with boundless powers and no weaknesses. Where is the challenge? Where is the drama concerning the character's well being against intimidating risk? Also, lets compare acquiring skills for a moment. Sith/Jedi: Born with inalienable skills that simply need to be developed in time, building a light saber, and light saber dueling. Mercenaries/Bounty Hunters: (all skills are not inalienable, you learn the hard way acquiring these skills whether or not you are proficient in them). Tracking, the use of a massive array of firearms, the use of a massive array of gadgets to apprehend targets alive, strength conditioning, cunning, reflex enhancement, detective skills, strategic warfare concepts, hand to hand combat, melee combat, negotiation (...which Jedi/SIth don't need; mind tricks remember?), and stealth. Sure, Jedi/Sith are more than welcome to acquire the numerous skills above to be more proficient...but they don't NEED them. These numerous skills listed for mercenaries and bounty hunters are not only a requirement for their field, but a matter of life and death without them. Ok, so maybe I'm being a bit harsh against Jedi/Sith fans out there; that's fair. Please enlighten me; just because I don't care for Sith/Jedi does not mean I am closed minded to their struggles in becoming successful warriors. All replies welcomed; I may learn a few things.
  10. So, I have a small rant that I would like to share; all replies agreeing or disagreeing are heartily welcomed I am open minded and may learn a thing or two from you all. There is nothing worse than going on queue for an OP or HMFP, the group being assembled, and one of the party members leaving in the middle of the campaign; no good bye, no I'm sorry, nothing. I believe if you made a conscience decision to put yourself in queue, and accepted the invitation that you should commit and follow through. I understand things come up, yes there is a life beyond this game....which is why the system gives you a chance to decline the invitation. If you are playing, put yourself in queue, and accept the invitation you can spend 30 minutes grinning and bearing your regret for agreeing in the first place. I've done it, it's called mutual respect; ppl have been waiting for the queue to pop for who knows how long...and now must wait longer for a replacement. So yeah; no excuse for this behavior. Let's face it there is one reason why we all go on queue, radiant crystals; we cannot earn them on an individual basis, we're stuck and must rely on others in a team effort to claim them. Obviously players that quit in the middle of a queued campaign cannot appreciate the importance it is to collect said radiant crystals like the rest of the group; that being said there should be a one week queue quit penalty. A one week penalty prevents them from completing any queue weeklies, and perhaps will have them think twice before becoming a repeated offender. Thank you for taking the time to read.
  11. So, I would imagine with the skill trees replaced with disciplines adding a few new skills there would be a new DPS rotation. I've looked online and have yet to see anything? Too soon to ask? If there is one could anyone please give me a link? Thank you.
  12. Yeah thanks for posting; good to know I'm not the only one. I even shut down my laptop for thirty minutes and it still freezes. Initially the space bar was unresponsive at the loading screen so I closed out the game and came back. Now I'll get past the loading screen but freeze up when the yellow talk cloud comes up, the periods stop moving. Task manager says SWTOR is not responding. I even switched back and forth via task manager during the talk cloud dots moving to see if the switching will make me slip through; nothing. (I know, futile; but at least I tried something different) I hope they fix it soon, this expansion is much better than I thought it would be I'm enjoying it.
  13. Ok, that was tremendous help I will get right on that. I have been solely relying on ulti comms to help my main toon reach an indestructible / legendary status. But after reviewing my spex I realized the best armor in the game only scratches the surface and I still have work to do. You pointed me in the right direction (lol and didn't laugh at such an obvious question), thank you.
