  1. Thanks for this; I wish I'd known about this a few years ago!! Every time I get a new computer, or end up reinstalling, I was faced with a right pain in the **** of re-doing my Interface and keybinds (both of which were different for each class, and even the specs!). Massively helpful solution here. I've copied my settings folder to a backup. Thanks again for this!
  2. Thank you very much, a lot of good suggestions in here! I will try them all. Ok, time for me to get cracking on my way to "Elite Warlord" now!
  3. No, I am mostly a keybind player. But, sorry, what do you mean by "play the off objective"?
  4. As a Sorc, or any other ranged class, it's easy; I target and blast away. I'm not great at PvP, but so far have managed to get my main to Valor 61 with relative ease. The problem is, when play with a melee class, especially my Deception Assassin, where I have to be close to my target. In Arena, this is easy enough, since there are only 4v4, and I always have "Friendly Player Nameplates" (and mine) turned off anyway. But in Warzones, where groups of players are bunched up in a crowd, I simply am unable to follow where my target is anymore, amidst the jumble of players. Again, as ranged it's easy. But as a melee class... I end up walking around like an idiot, unable to attack, because it is so difficult for me to see where the target circle is under an enemy player. Just far too much graphics "mess" going on around, and I cannot figure out a good way to keep an eye on where my target is in all that crowd of players, when I can't even follow the target circle anymore because it's too hard to spot with everything that is happening all around me graphically. There must be a better way to do this. Any suggestions or ideas from more experienced melee PvP players? Thanks.
  5. 1) Already have the expansion. In fact, got 2 of my level 60's in the 7 days early access, before everyone else got access (I had pre-ordered). 2) Yes, I agree. As said, I have 9x Lvl 60 toons; this one's going to be my 10th. Quite familiar with that, already. Question's been answered already, and I feel like it was a real DERP moment... lol.
  6. Thought so. Thanks for the confirmation; should've been pretty obvious... lol.
  7. Hey, Been playing most of the day, and going through Makeb on my Guardian who's now level 55. Went to turn in a quest, and whereas before I was getting like 560k exp for turning it in, with the 12x AND exp boost, I now found the quest is giving me "only" 46k... which is actually normal. I'm Legacy lvl 48 (almost 49), been playing a few years, got 9 lvl 60 characters... so I am not new to Swtor... but, to be perfectly honest, I never really paid attention to the 12x before (since I was 55 with most of my toons, and went straight to Rishi, before the 12x began). So I'm going to guess, the 12x ends when you ding 55? (Actually, it would only make sense that it does; but... just checking!)
  8. I'm a lvl 55 Sorcerer, and this one IS harder than the other boss fights; then again, it's the end of Chapter 4 - you should expect that. It took me about 10 tries to get beat this. I have been a Lightning Sorcerer since starting, and from a PvE standpoint, a pretty good one at that. But I couldn't get my head around this one. I tried with Khem Val, I tried with Xalek... 3 or 4 times, both well geared with 156 (and some 162)... and I could not do this. So I switched to Corruption, thinking I'd heal my way through it. What happened this time, was that I actually died QUICKER as a healer, than as Lightning. Did this about 3-4 times, with Khem and Xalek. AND... I did absolutely pathetic damage on the boss, in this spec. This instance has you running all over the place... and THAT'S when it clicked: I was going to have to DoT this mofo, and keep myself alive! So I respecced Madness, pulled out a sorely undergeared Talos Dreilik (on passive), and just popped DoTs on the Archon whenever I could... while Talos healed me, and I Lightning Storm'd the droids. I was able to also get one of the isotope generators down, when a droid dropped the quest item. That seemed to seriously slow down the dps the Archon did. In the end, it's true what was said: keep moving, and beat the droids as quickly as you can. But in the meantime, the full Madness spec did wonders DoT'g the Archon. It's not easy, but through trial and error of whatever spec and companion combinations you have, you will eventually beat him.
