  1. This is a bit unsettling. If I understand what your saying is right and this issue has been going on for a couple weeks now then I have to ask why hasn’t it been addressed as an issue yet? The same issues are being reported on the test server, so what ever is going on doesn't seem to have a fix in the works at all. This doesn’t look good. I’m really starting to fear that this game has become a money grab and the end is closer then I thought, laugh all you want but when devs ignore issues such as this then it’s doing nothing to reassure me otherwise.
  2. I reported a similar issue with Yavin 4. I logged out of Yavin 4 and now I can no longer log in with that character. I filed a bug report and opened a ticket, nothing. No reply from devs.
  3. I logged out wile in the Yavin 4 guild strong hold, now I can’t get logged in. When you choose “play” on the character selection screen the loading screen that you normally see displays however there is no loading indicator, “Blue Log In Progress Bar”. After a couple minutes the sever times out and you get disconnected. Other people, in game, were talking about normal loading into Yavin 4 causing other issues. I can not confirm the “other issues” however there is defiantly a log in issue that needs to be fixed.
  4. I'm sure your right, I'm sure there are millions of bagillions of posts that say the same thing, just like there are bagillions of of posts that say sever merge server merge server merge... funny how your being hypocritical and selective. 800k people, where did you get this number from? I haven't seen any published population numbers, it would be nice to see them but the only game that publishes that kind of information, that I know of, is eve online. Not calling you a lire I would just like to see some real numbers apposed to every ones guesses. I don't know about your server, but the servers I play on... there is always someone around, every quest location I go to, every town or base or what ever you want to call them I see people. It's not a ghost game where no one but you plays. And I sound like every other troll out there now so I think its time for bed. Thanx everyone, and thank you Bioware and EA for a great game, I look forward to many years.
  5. Warhammer online has a bug from launch where the squiq herder does this emote where he wipes his azz on the ground and smashes his face, the bug is that the toon will remain doing that same emote for several minutes when it was only intended as a quick emote to do something funny and silly. Not that this matters or even adds anything constructive to this post. I guess I'm just pointing out that having an expectation of a bug free game after only three months is kinda self centered. (And I'm not trying to say I feel this way about you) just making small talk
  6. Do they have an exit poll? If so did you take it and tell them your honest opinion as to what is needed to get you to come back?
  7. At this point I would say more glitches then bugs really. And trust me, when it comes to MMOs and launch... this one has more going for it then any other at launch. I remember when world of war craft first came out, there was this rubber band effect where you would run forward just to get pulled back again to where you started. I didn't stay there long as I really don;t like the cartoon look... but I digress. When star wars galaxies first came out they had to cut space combat, vehicles and pets because of a massive bug that took three more months to fix. I'm sure there are more examples I just can't think of any right now.
  8. I must admit you have some valid points, something as simple as a chat bubble would help people become more social as it gives more of a feeling of... being real... or as close as we can get today in games. Player guild ships, monstrous space craft orbiting around planets where guilds can plot out wars with other guilds at... Player housing.. and stuff to put in the houses. But I have to stick around and let my voice be known. The more people become aware of the fact that all of this and more can be implemented with a little time the more people will start requesting Bioware to incorporate such abilities and features. This is no time to quit if you want to see things like this in the future of the Old republic.
  9. This game was pushed back several times... so many times in fact that they had to cut features that were not ready or too buggy as they had to start making money and ship the product before something really bad eventuated.
  10. Solution = no forum access for expired subs and no access for free atrial accounts. Sad but necessary for real progress.
  11. So sorry that this is what being a moderator has become here. This should be an opportunity to engage the customers, learn from each other on how to move forward.. but no.. we get warnings... I'm not trolling you Sejia... I'm truly sad that this is the only response we get because we can't be mature enough to engage in any real debate with out resorting to name calling. I think this is really what some people want, I think some people are actively trying to create discontent.
  12. In the early years of Star Wars Galaxies I made friends with engineers, a real life doctor or two, programmers, teachers, professionals from many schools and there was no secret as to why. A stimulating game with a little bit of real life mechanics and science will attract intelligent people. I think were starting to see the dedomiciling of the gear grinders and the more studious. http://www.realdictionary.com/
  13. /agree g a l a x i e s Man I miss the pre-publish, hell at this point I almost miss the NGE... but ahoy me maties, there be adventure, content, story lines, cool questing (Until now there was no such thing as cool questing in a mmo) Given Bioware's reputation for awesome story content I think we can look forward to some good things in the future. With an evolving game comes evolving stories and content. That's your end game... new things to do, new adventures with new enemies, allies and friends, Death Watch Bunker in the Old Republic perhaps..? Or could you vision new planets with new everything now and then? The Star Wars Universe is vast and never ending, if any game company could pull off a MMO to reflect this then Bioware might as well try to fill the shoes.
  14. It sounds to me like your just trying to fit in with the wrong crowed. If you like the former glory of Galaxies, if you like the amazing environments seen here in Old Republic and if you like Star Wars then you owe it to yourself to be a bit more supporting, now more then ever. Offer your advice, show your support and before you know it we will have the game we all hope and know Old Republic Can be.
