  1. If you notice, when you get knock backed, it's not like Mortal Kombat where you get punched in the chest and slide backwards on your heels. You actually get knocked up and out. Just like when you get grabbed, you get pulled up and to that person. That is why you fly over those sand bags, plenty of things will prevent knockback, the sandbags just aren't tall enough and I don't think they are meant to stop that. They are just meant to cause some line of sight issues for people down below if you back up.
  2. Yeah, I have no problem killing healers on my Jugg, but on my Merc, forget about it. Who says this guy is playing a class with a true interupt? On my Merc I got my stun which is nice, but otherwise I have to run to them to knock them back, then run to them again to rocket punch them back. And none of these put their heal on cooldown for a few seconds.
  3. I don't think it's a carbon copy, simply because of the Rage mechanic. It more so reminds me of combo points than it does WoW Rage. I personally don't like it too much. I kind of feel a Powertech is more so Warrior than a Jugg would be, despite them being ranged.
  4. Not really, pass sprint, pass sprint, probably score, if not pass sprint. If it was BH's they better all be Powertech and then the extra few slots heals. Because Mercs blow at ball carrying. And neither of these class have both a CC, Interupt, and Stuns. Sage/Sorc are the only classes in the game with all 3.
  5. Disagree on SI version. If you are almost dead and your opponent is almost dead, popping that ability even if it killed your comp is a massive advantage. Basically if your going to 1v1 a SI you better kill the comp and then them, where as they only have to kill you.
  6. My server we stand on a bridge and shoot each other, the bridge is determined by the side with the greater population out there (bridge closest to lowest pops spawn). Why you guys take time to figure out wind trajectory is beyond me, this isn't rocket science.
  7. Thats even worse, why give people medals if they don't deserve them? Give people who earn them the medals, give medals or bonuses to the team who caps the ball and finishes the game. Far better system than making everyone equal. If they promote games ending fast, people won't have time to stack medals.
  8. Then we get sweet games of Huttball where one team 6 caps and since there is no medals it'll be like SG when your team sucked too much to cap a flag. So even if you are good, if you are stuck wiht a ton of bads you get absolutely no reward at all since nothing got capped. I like the medals, they just need some tweaking, like awarding medals for caps, or awarding bonus valor for a faster game. Those would be much better implementations, promote capping the ball and ending the game fast.
  9. I'm enjoy WZ's. But the problem that is out there is not fixable. I stopped playing my Commando about a month ago, it didn't take me very long to get most T2 PvP gear from bags. I rerolled Merc and now he's 50 and I realize it's going to take a long time to get as gear as my Commando was, because bag tokens are gone. Anyone who was 50 before that patch has a lot of T2, and since Ilum grinding was pretty easy and popular for a week or two that also made a lot of Battlemasters. So the gear difference is pretty large.
  10. Having a 50 Commando and a 48 Mercenary I'd say the Armor is give and take. I like aspects of both sides. Animations, overall I would say BH, though I don't like our flame cone (it doesn't show it's true size).
  11. Your doing it wrong, this is probably the best soloing class on Imp side. Simply because they are ranged dps, have a cc, wear heavy armor, and can heal. Use Mako, and own. I solo 4 man quests, cc one, then just mop the rest up. I say best on Imp side though simply because Troopers get a healer with heavy armor. So on my trooper I could cc 1 elite, target another, then let the 3rd beat on my heals for a bit. Once I killed my elite I would stun the one on her and grab it. But Mako wearing medium armor, she can't tank for ****. If you are trying to use a DPS or Tank comp, thats your problem, go Arsenal spec and mop up, Jugg can't compare to how easy this class is to solo with.
  12. I have a 50 Commando and a 41 Merc, both have their benefits. Troopers got the cooler weapons, but if your going heals BH healing is cooler because it looks like Green Tracer rounds. But as far as DPS, Troopers get the cooler gun, BH get Rockets. I kind of favor the rockets a bit, but thats because I wasn't a huge fan of Grav Rounds look. And the 31 Talent in Arsenal is cooler looking than Gunnerys. But other are cool looking classes, ones got the better looking gun, the other has rockets. So if you like rockets go for the BH, if you could careless about rockets, roll Trooper.
  13. I have this quest, I need to examine the marker, the marker is blue, I click it, it does a cast bar then says, "Not eligible for this conversation"... Going to be awesome if I can't do my class quest. I did Ctrl + U + U, relogged, and also tried restarting the game. None of those solved it, anyone else run across this?
  14. Using A pistol would be singular, you must not have a good grasp on the English language, as we wield two of them. So firing twice as many rounds makes up that difference, and Hammer/Rapid is bad damage, Charged/Power is damage for off specs, Unload/Full Autp is the only one coming into account here. And double the rounds. Besides that fact, you are comparing gun to guns, that Cannon is firing all of their rounds, which is still my point, they do more DAMAGE with their cannon since they use it for EVERY SINGLE ability they have, are you dense? Besides any of that, it's a videogame... If Bioware wanted they could balance a class weilding a Tuna to mirror another, who really cares?
  15. No we don't, they fire every single damage ability from that Assault Cannon. All I use my Pistols for is Unload. You must be blind.
