The outfit is mostly the Jedi Stormguard set you can buy on the fleet. Is that stuff just as good as quest obtained loot to level with as long as I keep the mods updated?

Brand new to the game, but I just noticed the adaptive armor system. There's a certain look I want to level my first toon with, but there's an item on the GLN I'd need to finish the look. (Reaver Headgear) But it runs at least 5mil credits. I don't know anything about the games economy. If I were to use my level boost on an alt to 65, how much running around would I have to do to get that many credits to mail back to my main? Alternatively, if that's a dumb question. Which item on the cartel market could I buy to guarantee getting that much money quickly on the gln?
