  1. Derelict for me. It's a nice, shiny two handed saber.
  2. I can't say I've seen much of darkside, except from other players, but.. in my opinion, the LS sith warrior has one of -the- best stories in the game. You feel like some kind of samurai, trapped by shackles of a Darth, and try to escape them, -and- make the empire a better place. I friggin' love it.
  3. I won't say I have first hand knowledge, but I'm pretty sure that's how Infil was designed; High burst, low survivability.
  4. This thread makes me worry for my 30 Rattataki Shadow. :<
  5. Are you kidding? Free, high damaging abilities that one you can use every time you root someone.. Yeeeah, no. And as to the whole argument "didn't say!", it says it only affect weak, normal, and strong mobs. Should give you a clue.
  6. A DPS assassin? Oh yeah, I know those guys. The dudes who die in 2-3 hits and then just run from me the rest of the match on my Guardian. Sounds about right. o.o
  7. Guardian is still very much true to it's namesake, even if you are dps. The Sentinel is much more in your face offense, as well with alot of useful abilities to keep yourself alive.. while on the other hand, Guardian does a fair bit less damage, but has alot of utility and protective abilities for others, and somewhat for you. If you want break neck dps, go Sent. If you want a mix between support and damage, go Guardian.
  8. I can't say I have a set rotation, but it seems to me that you waste.. alot at the start of a fight. Saber throw, leap, AND combat focus? Might wanna save one of those if things get hairy. I usually leap in with Force leap, sunder, then plasma brand. I might use combat focus, but not before I get off the free Blade Storm. Usually follow with master strike, then if they try to run you have your leap back up by then, or stasis if you need to keep them in range for it to come up off cool down. Then usually Overhead slash, blade storm again, and dispatch. Granted, I'm fairly new to 50, and don't got alot of gear, but I generally can hold my own in 1v1 fights.. not that they happen often.
  9. Me and the two I run with all the time, I'm the shadow in the middle. Will update with a closer up picture next! http://i.imgur.com/NohLT.jpg
  10. Hey, more maras and sents means more kills for my sniper. I'm fine with it.
  11. A good sniper will kill squishy dps, like the "OP SENTS" or a sage before they can generally react, as well as the shield, decent survivability, numerous shut downs, and all their anti melee goodies. Might not be the best by themselves, but when you put them with an organized team? Have fun keeping your healer and dps alive.
  12. I do thank you all for the information. The choice is..a pain to me, because I always love supporting. Tanking, healing, chasing down people or mobs, and just generally keeping enemies dead and allies alive. Still unsure of how both preform later, 'specially the sage. Don't want to be having do Balance just to be competitive damage wise, or be forced into healing because of it. e.e
  13. Howdy folks. I'm a bit of an alt nut, and I wanted my first consular to be Rattataki, so was getting a 50 first! Now, was wanting to know opinions, if you'd be so inclined, as the leveling qualities of both shadow and sage. I know the sage can heal, and has decent damage, but I'm looking for more of a fun play, and to know if it's worth it by 50. I know the sages got a nerf, and the shadows are still pretty strong, but I'd just like to hear opinions from actual experienced ones, instead of a nub like me playing something wrong. Thank you for your time!
  14. Only the 5th time you've said you unsubbed. And ranked warzones being pushed back is fine if they were buggy, I just wish they did it a little sooner than the night before release. Oh well, still looking forward to 1.2.
  15. You're thinking of a Gunslinger's "diversion". And.. honestly, if you're a Jedi Knight going up against a sniper, here's a tip: Don't. Wait for them to come to you, and actually play smart. You run head long at a sniper, yeah, he's going to burn you down before you can even get to him.
