quick tip on alderaan, we had a friend with this problem as well. you will need to bring 2 sorcerer (or sage, i think they have similar abilities) with the two sorcs go up top, one jumps off, extricates you half way through the fall, then the second standing on the rail extricates you from there : ) it works, just tricky timing.

guild wars, DDO, Neocron were three i liked and stuck with for a long time wow was a horrible launch, but had a lot of good innovation and pulled itself up to be probably the largest amount of content in any game Planetside was a poor mans FPS, just didnt feel good Rift was a good launch, but the actual gameplay was meh SWTOR was a good launch, but the actual gameplay was meh not unsubscribing because i think the game is bad. i just think it isnt new at all. the background and story are different, but i was hoping for some changes/improvements to the genre that i just didnt find. Now that is my opinion and reason for taking off, and i really hope a lot of people really dig the game and find that its what they are looking for. i like bio as a company, and have been playing their games since MDK2, and their track record of innovation and cleaning up old gamestyles can be best shown in baldurs gate and NWN, i just hope they get their footing here and bring that amount of polish and thought into this game. if they do, i will be back : )

eh, the quests on illum fill out the story a bit more, but not necessary. if you want best in slot for ear/implants you will need to do a lot of dailies.

just.. i just gotta jump in for a sec. the amount of bad information in this post is staggering, but ill pick an easy one to debunk. here are the first 5 missions from the korriban list. 1. Kill X K'lor slug foragers 2. kill X K'lor slugs + detonate explosives 3. Defeat X Ancient Battle Droids 4. Kill X K'lor slugs 5. Defeat X Tomb Looters +Recover the artifacts. i could add in 5 of my level 50 quests as well, but it looks about the same.

ive killed like 10, maybe 15 people in 4 weeks.. killing every repub i see (except on ilum of course) ok ya.. thats kind of low.

if you want to complain about money, training costs were breaking 28k up till lvl 48 before they dropped back down to 11k. the speeder trip from base to PVP zone on ilum is 1k per trip my repair costs can break 50k if the heroics go poorly. on the plus side, dailies will net you over 100k easy.

is base trading lame? yes is base trading an exploit? no is base trading the way that ilum is designed to be played: sadly yes, although i dont think that was biowares intention. Inept PVP design at its finest right there. sorry guys, until they fix up ilum to actually have objectives that make sense you will see a lot of base trading.
