  1. Possibly. Perhaps he used a means of getting to a place that's otherwise unreachable. Say he used a knockback from some enemy or something to climb a wall that's otherwise unclimbable. Or maybe even a force push in a duel. Doesn't mean that the proper way doesn't require you to trigger a fight though.
  2. He obtained it illigitimately. Which means he probably exploited a fight mechanic or something. I've no doubt that he knows exactly where it comes from and how you get it legitimately, he just wasn't able to do it.
  3. Actually, EQ was twice as good as WoW was at release. More, even. I quit WoW and went back to EQ for months, half a year or so, before WoW actually caught up. Just thought I'd set the record straight on that. WoW didn't start at the top.
  4. I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure Artifice can just make hilts and enhancements, not mods. The Ilum daily vendor only carries armorings, and the daily quests that give epic rewards give only enhancements as well. There are a few daily quests that give blue mods, but they're hardly worth doing tbh. Your best bet is probably to PvP and grab the mods from the PvP items. But that takes a lot of time and effort. Cybertech is another option, I believe they get all the mods. edit: http://www.torhead.com/schematics/name/mod/sort/difficulty,reqprofessionlevel List of Cybertech-made mods above. Take your pick.
  5. I didn't enter the testing phase until stresstest, but I too added a few bugs. I've discovered ten times more in live than I did in beta, but that's just because I've played more on live, and come farther. But this is by far the smoothest MMORPG release bug-wise that I've ever partaken in, and I've pretty much played them all from the start (except Rift). Claiming this is a buggy release is just flat out wrong. It has bugs, very very few of them are critical and cannot be solved with a quick workaround, at worst a quick logout/login, even fewer cause CTDs. I can count on one hand the times CRITICAL bugs have happened to me on my journey to 50. All in all, I'd have to say it's one of the best MMORPG first-month experiences I've ever had.
  6. It helps to have a consular grab the bugged one, as they can simply trigger their Force Wave at the right time and that will "freeze" them before they reach the grapple point and slip through the wall. Takes some timing, but it's how we eventually got it. Once we got someone up there, we put people at the 3 other consoles and had the first set hit their consoles and /stuck back to the bridge. Then the second set hit theirs and did the same. All four then grappled to the "middle" point, and tried to get to the 5th console (buggy too, takes some jumping and glitchy positioning). Once someone got past there, they pushed that console and we all grappled to the door (works from both the "middle" spot and 5th console). Took us a while to solve as we avoided using any spoilers beyond the clues that you needed the artifact from Corellia (had already found it myself), as well as the hint that it was somewhere on the fleet. I did most of the pre-4player puzzling myself and then brought in friends to help with the console part. We thought it was bugged for sure when nothing happened after we clicked the 5th console. Then we tried re-doing them all in the correct order, and voilá!
  7. I've completed the entire planet to the best of my knowledge and never received this update on my sage. I'm pretty sure I know where I'm supposed to get it, or rather from whom, but the last I heard of him he went off treking past the Dune Sea... Has anyone actually gotten this? Did I pick a wrong choice in a dialogue, or do I have to find him somehow in the Dune Sea (spent some time looking but wasn't able to find him), or is it simply bugged and noone has it?
  8. Simple answer: Yes. Complex answer: Yes, but you'll miss out on some minor plot details here and there. Many bonus lines require heroics to complete.
  9. When does the last grapple point actually activate? Do you need to do them in a certain order? We had all 5 panels running and weren't able to get the grapple-point above the door to unlock. Republic side ofc. edit: Nvm, you need the specific order, with the 5th panel last.
  10. swtor-holo.net has a very good guide. Can use that to fill up your list, if you like. Only Ilum and Corellia lack map/pictures/videos, the rest are pretty much flawless.
  11. It looks like noone has this entry. I'm level 50 and still don't have it, nor do any of my friends.
  12. Then be a true Jedi, not a silly Knight.
  13. Many quests and their rewarding titles have been removed from the game. Balmorra is not unique in this. The quest area related to the Taris title has been walled off and removed completely. You can still see the road leading straight into the wall where it used to be. The Codex is very buggy and not something I would trust as a fact-checker on whether something is in the game or not. I have 3 entries in my codex that aren't even categorized, one of which is "Invalid Entry"...
  14. Sullustan is found in the Smuggler or Trooper storyline quest, as part of their quest (can't remember which, but only they can get it). Sorry.
  15. The Jedi Consular story picks up at the end of chapter 1, leading into an excellent chapter 2. I've yet to conclude chapter 3. In short, chapter 2 and 3 weave so closely into the storyline on each planet that it's sometimes hard to tell them apart. Meanwhile, my JK buddy feels like he's going from planet to planet, clueless what the planet is about, just looking to kill his next Sith. Admittedly I've been trying to keep my nose out of his business as much as possible, since I plan to play a JK myself one day, and don't want to spoil myself.
