EVEN better yet , u know what? once u hit lvl 50 the **** hits the fan big time bcuz then ur companions become pretty much lifeless totally pointless mannequins , the only thing they're still good for is looking cool and gathering resources or craft some of the pointless lvl49 items. Whys that? simple : because SWTOR gives no reason at all to actually go to and explore planets and/or grind for anything , and this is why the game will fail if they don't do something about that asap

Damn now that i look at it...it DID turn out to be a novel after all >.> my bad Edit : well i don't want a hardcore china grinder either , but i do have to admit that a bit of grinding here and there was rather enjoyable when i was still playing WoW a few years back , and it actually populated the zones with players and the game felt alive , at least more so than SWTOR

Allrite i'm not going to write a novel now , just noticed alotta people complaining about "feeling alone" Reason for that is pretty simple actually : There NO grinding / grind spots at all , in WoW and many many other mmorpgs you HAVE to go out and farm resources for crafting in the world , or hunt down extremely tough elite mobs that drop items you can put together to get a raid-class item , or just little "gimmick" items like the roots in WoW's felwood ( items that grew there and could be picked up by any class and they could be used as healing items restoring health and/or mana with a seperate cooldown than regular healpots ) or people had to farm mobs for reputation with another faction that provided recipes / items in return. But all of that is missing here entirely , once you hit 50 theres NO reason at all to move your *** from the fleet , crafting materials are gathered by your companions , there are no factions u need reptation with , the monsters don't drop anything worthwhile anyway ( and even if u want to farm mobs for the chance to get an epic item -> epics aren't worth **** here anyway , do a few rounds of pvp and do the dailys/weeklys and whooop! in no time u have your full epic pvp equip which is pretty muh as good as the first hero epics ) So yeah...here we are....playing a game that feels like a middleclass singleplayer rpg from 2001 Personally i didn't really play for 2 days anymore now because theres nothing to do anymore got a lvl 50 trooper and this are my options : 1 : Stand around on the fleet and do some pvp - Pointless and boring , i already got my full epic equip which wasn't hard to get at all and i'm only pvp rank 37 , plus pvp isn't nearly as fun as it should be , because of bad character responsiveness and boring battlegrounds PLUS the fact hat the imps are dominationg our server and after 400 games its just no fun anymore to be a walking sand bag in mushy textures 2 : Grab a few people and do hardmode inis - what for? like i said i already got epic equip from pvp thats around the same lvl as the hardmode stuff 3 : Stand around and do crafting - what for? the current crafting system becomes obsolete after hitting lvl 50 except biochem ( which i have and yeah i pretty much have most worthwhile epic stim recipes , no more reason to do any more than that ) 4 : Organize a group for Raid content - Can't be bothered to go with randoms cuz most people i met so far are either idiots or nice people without any skill tho and i'm not in the mood for a 5 hour wipefest ( and yes i AM in a guild but most of them are the latter of the just mentioned sentence ) So as you can see theres just no reason at all to actually set foot on some planet to do something. And this will break this games neck in the long run , that i'm sure of. ( as well as the bugs , the shoddy visuals that "work as intended" , the lack of faction balance , the pointless crafting system , the ****** hero engine used for this game that can't handle **** , and loads of other small things here and there most players start to notice bit by bit , and that are already discussed and spread around this forum ) Oh and no i'm not a hater , quite the opposite i would say i'm a bioware fanboy ( tho i HATE EA for quite a few years already ) i played pretty much every bioware game they've ever released and most of them i played more than 20 times bcuz the baldurs gate saga and NWN and mass effect just never get old. Sry das ich deine bubble platzen lassen muss , aber daraus wird leider nix. Das Problem is einfach , derzeit is dasLlvlcap der herstellbaren mods in allen Berufen lvl 49 , und die ganzen epischen Mods aus den späteren raid / pvp rüstungen und Waffen lassen sich NICHT ausbauen. Oder ums kurz zu machen : Du hast ab 50 2...nein 3 Möglichkeiten ( edit : halt es sind sogar 4! ) 1. Du siehst scheisse aus , hast dafür aber das beste gear. 2. Du trägst weiterhin deine orangenen modbaren Items und siehst cool aus , wirst Stats mäßig aber NICHT an jemanden rankommen der die epischen raid/hero/pvp Klamotten trägt. 3. Du deinen Char einmottest sobald er 50 erreicht , und hoffst und betest das BW in den nächsten Monaten die Rüstungsdesigns ändert / erweitert , oder dem ganzen beschissenen Mod System nen kompletten overhaul verpassen. 4. Du aufs Jedi-dasein nen dicken haufen setzt , und nen Sith anfängst und dich dabei freust nichmehr wie nen wandelnder Kartoffelsack auszusehen.

Weil ich mit dem in aller Ruhe "The Prodigy - Smack my ***** up" anmachen kann , und dann fröhlich mitten in 3-4er Gruppen Lichtschwert schwingende hässliche Sith-Hexer springen kann , um denen saftig den Gewehrkolben durch die Fresse zu ziehen , und dabei genug aushalte um noch zu erleben wie 1-2 von denen mitm Gesicht im Dreck landen. Für die Republik! ( Und mein Ego )

Es ging ja nich um das Item an sich , ich kann damit eh nix anfangen , mir gings einfach nur ums Prinzip und speziell seinen letzten Satz "ich würfel immer Bedarf , wenn die anderen spieler zu doof dafür sind nich mein Problem" da is mir direkt ******** , und warum ich den aggressiven Ton direkt von anfang an eingeschlagen hab? Ganz einfach weil mir durch das Gespräch mit meinem Gildenkollegen schon bewusst war das der Typ n *********war , und zu dummen Menschen bin ich grundsätzlich nich höflich.

Nein Trooper haben keinerlei Gefährten die mit nem Lichtschwert was anfangen können , und ich gebe zu meine Reaktion war tatsächlich etwas zu extrem. Aber bei sowas setzt mein Hirn dann auch pauschal mal aus , mein Adrenalin Pegel is jetzt noch jenseits von gut und böse. Aber sowas dreistes vorallem der letzte Satz von ihm , da ging bei mir alles aus , solche geistig unterbelichteten Obstbauern sollte man meiner Meinung nach direkt permanent vom Genpool entfernen. *Geht sich jetzt erstma zum runterkommen nen Kaffee brauen und n Kippchen paffen*

Worum es geht : Gildenkollege fragt mich im Gchat was ein Trooper mit nem Lichtschwert will ( Natürlich is ihm selber bewusst das die damit rein garnix anfangen können ausser "Blaues Licht! und was macht es? es leuchtet blau!" er wollte lediglich seinem Frust in form von Sarkasmus etwas Luft machen. ) ich hab natürlich auch gesagt "garnix". Danach hat er dann noch mit dem besagten Ninja etwas rumdiskutiert , und ich hab dann irgentwann gesagt : Gib mal den Name.
