  1. So I really like the Elite Regulator armor set, from the Resale Rep vendor. Specifically the helmet, actually. However, I don't want to waste large amounts of money on Cartel Coins to buy endless amounts of packs...is there another armor set with the same look to it? I can fix the color schemes with dyes or whatever, but I really just like the shape of it...
  2. Many thanks, Fluhi!
  3. Yeah, I noticed this, and it can be pretty helpful. But I'm more curious as to if there's a difference between your personal shield cover and actual cover (like, behind a barrel or something).
  4. As a sniper (or gunslinger, for that matter), is there an advantage to taking cover behind solid objects rather than your personal shield? Someone in game chat was talking about how your shield doesn't give as much defense as actual cover does, but I thought it was the same regardless. Thank you.
  5. Nice to have input from you guys! I'd heard that Vig Guardian was a pretty awesome character;I just heard he was also pretty difficult to play, although I'm not sure how true that is. Playing as a tank was fun sometimes, but I ended up hating it eventually. Sure, people looked to you as a leader of groups and whatnot; but as soon as something goes wrong, it was always my fault... Anyways...I'll consider both of them. Vigilance looks awesome as a straight up beast, but the Sent looks more tactical and underhanded... P.S. Thanks! One of the best companions of all time!
  6. I was mostly considering the Sentinel, because it would be kind of repetitive going through as the same advanced class, even if it is a different combat role. I agree that the sentinels do seem to have some pretty neat tricks up their sleeves for when things go bad, which is appealing. I figure I probably will go with a sentinel, just to give myself a new experience. Plus, who can go wrong with dual-wield lightsabers?! (Although I might fight the mainstream and go with one vibrosword and one lightsaber...) Anyway, thanks for the input! Next I'll have to see if I can find out which rotations work best for combat sents
  7. Hey guys; I've been at this game for awhile now, and I've already played completely through as a Jug tank...however, I want to aim for a DPS knight (PVP focused). I'm having trouble deciding which to go for, though...both the Combat Sent and the Vigilance Guardian both look like really cool specs. I threw out any sort of focus build since those are too mainstream...any suggestions on which I should plan on rolling when it comes to DPS-ing? I hear the sent has higher DPS, yet lower flexibility and survivability...just not sure if its a huge difference or anything...thanks!
  8. Pretty much. I've yet to succeed in making a straight up PVP character...I just get bored of the warzones too fast. It gets repetitive...plus the fact that I hate huttball.
  9. Yeah, threw me off a bit. But I do agree that the WZ's need to get updated...it isn't the worst pvp system I've ever seen, but it's definitely not the best either...
  10. Although some of those ideas you have seem like good ones, I feel like I should point out that there ARE rated warzones...
  11. So, I've played as an Imperial for awhile. However, I wanted to try out a trooper, so I rolled a DPS Vanguard and am doing a ton of PVP. However, I tried looking for any kind of PVP guild on the republic side, but failed pretty epicly...anyone know of some decent PVP pub guilds? And preferably one that takes in non-50's as well, so I don't need to wait 18 more levels to join.
  12. Funny thing is, that yesterday, some other pubs and I crashed an Imp wedding on Alderaan...full of dozens of 40's/50's, who swiftly responded by taking over house organa and chilling in our cantina...
  13. I really don't remember where I heard it...
  14. This is a question referring to the end of Act 1, when you arrive on the Justice...
  15. Actually, the only thing I've seen like this was an exploit a bunch of imps pulled of on tatooine, which you might of heard of...Since the imps can't get to anchorhead due to the desert zone, they'd run as far as possible, die, queue for a WZ, play it, leave it, and they would be alive where the were downed. They'd do that all the way there, until they reached anchorhead and laid waste to the pubs there...but that was just idiots glitching their way in an effort to be cool.
