  1. It's ridiculous that they had this sort of pay-to-play content in the first place... It's effectively $90 for one little chapter. If they want people to keep their subscription going, then maybe they shouldn't make content that gets used up in a matter of days... (i.e. not singling out story over group content). Instead, they make a little gimmick where you have to sub for 6 straight months just to get that extra bit of story content that they know everyone's going to want to play but not going to want to pay.... Worst. Decision. Ever. (In SWTOR)
  2. I have been appreciative of the push for more story content, and am fond of said story, as well as the option to play it FTP after unlocking it with a subscription and especially the increased difficulty options. However, there are a couple things which I am disappointed by from the recent two "expansions" that I would like to voice: 1) The recent removal of the core classes. While it's a minor change for end-game characters, it doesn't make much sense when starting a class from lvl as well as its effect on their story... From an RP point of view, they're already specialized already without any real training. From a new player perspective, one is not be able to test out a class before deciding what specific role they want to go into. It also takes away some iconic abilities which these classes have had since Beta. Which leads into my next point: 2) Bounty hunters need flamethrower back. It is TOO ICONIC! I know it was removed because BH can't be standing still in pvp... But least bring it back in some form. (maybe movable but less damage?) 3) WHERE IS THE MMO? No new ops or pvp warzones for literally years.... You can't focus on a single aspect of a game and completely ignore everything else (but of course the CM is still up and running as usual because that's what gets EA the real $$). If there were more of those, maybe people would actually have a reason to SUBSCRIBE!! 4) Companions: This is far less likely for you to change, but it would be nice if companions weren't all the same old cookie cutters... I miss the diversity from before KotFE (as well as gearing them up). Now there seems to be 100 people you can chose from, and none of them feel special at all, or that they matter... Plus, people probably only mainly use the ones with the highest level (boring). 5) Combat lag (intentional and unintentional): This has been going on for ages, but it's incredibly annoying how some attacks do damage before the animation is even complete. There's also the issue of lag: for example, you try to shield yourself before you die, but even though you seem to press the key in time, a mystery attack catches up to you first and you die; though this is probably due to the limited game engine's capabilities... Just some thoughts. Forum goers: let me know what you think.
  3. Yes please! Also to add to that, it would be nice if the crew summoning and crafting were in the same window again... it's annoying to have someone on a mission and forget about, then try to summon that companion and have them quit their mission... Now that there is an over abundance of companions (with relatively "low" influence levels), it's really annoying having to look through the randomly assorted companions to find the one with the highest influence...
  4. So I heard from a guy the other day that he found a problem when confronting the final boss on his Inquisitor on Korriban the other day... the boss died in less than 5 seconds. Even though his character was scaled down to the level of the planet, he still had a boost from his lvl 50 gear, but the boss was like any other elite on the planet. How did you overlook this Bioware?? That should have been the first thing you thought of when creating level syncing on planets.... Though I thought back in the day that the bosses were too easy, this is ridiculous!!! (Please don't tell me this belongs somewhere else. I decided to put this in the general forums because, a) it is not a bug, more of a negligence, and b) it is not a "suggestion".) On that note, to make things easier for your already super busy lives trying to fix every other mistake in this game, let me "suggest" what you do to fix this... 1) Boost the boss characters so they're on par with a level 50. 2) Make the instances "un-sync" your player (and everything inside of it) so it's easier to manage. .... On another note, I still feel too powerful on most planets, even with level syncing. It would be nice to tone that down a bit... It would also be nice to have an item to reduce the amount of exp you get in quests (like that item they had with the 12x exp). The characters I'm leveling cannot keep their crew skills up with their level! Nothing I can make is even remotely useful with all the Heroic 2+ gear (and even the **** green mods from the vendors...). I would like to actually have a challenge (and items I make that I can use) once in a while....
  5. What exactly does that mean though...?
  6. I thought that this was referring to the super long "reorganizing data" that takes place before the patch even downloads.... Slowest and most annoying thing in THE WORLD... of Star Wars.
  7. Yeah I thought that resetting the quest might work, hoping that it wouldn't reset the whole chain (which it did, of course......). Of course I read later on Dulfy that logging out and in again would fix it................ But now he's not even appearing in my contacts window, so I feel like the influence I gained with him is gone for good. He's not even appearing in the "cannot contact right now" tab. -____-
  8. LOL! I leveled Qyzen up to 18 through Jaggernath creatures and world bosses (given I had a group that did a bunch of world bosses at the end haha). But it was rather easy to find that many creatures, it's hardly a grind! There's a little blue "clickable" thing on the holoterminal that tells you where to find them. It's pretty easy to find them if you just go around those areas. If that info is too general for you, then you can go online to find spawn points for these creatures, and easily knock them all out in less than an hour. So QQ MOAR cuz this is too EZY
  9. It actually doesn't even matter to them if you had the items already. All of my legacy bowcasters, etc. had their mods GUTTED OUT once the "expansion" went live... Totally lame....
  10. So first of all, I want to remind Bioware that they made an error on their website regarding when the Rakghoul event was going to go offline. http://www.swtor.com/info/in-game-events Instead, it came offline at 2 AM instead (pacific time zone).... what gives EAware...? Second of all, I was THIS CLOSE to finishing my quest to get Doctor Lokin... I was at the Sarlac pit gathering the probe data, when I noticed I could not pick up the sample, in addition to the fact that Lokin was gone from my companion list... Now I spent a lot of time gathering all those resources to get him to influence level 10. Since he seems to be completely gone from the list, and it's not obvious whether his influence was saved or not, DO NOT tell me that I would have to start over again the next time there's an event.... If so, that's a complete slap in the face to everyone who put as much time / money as me to do your stupid little grind (honestly, such a lazy way to give a companion out....) but who wasn't able to finish in time. (This is a little ironic for me, since during the first rakghoul event (FIRST), I was on Tatooine, trying to finish up the quest to get one of the rakghoul pets, but the servers reset and the event ended while I was on my way to the quest turn-in... DE-JA-VU... )
  11. It's nice to have someone giving you chit chat when you're killing mobs haha. And also you'd have to keep pulling them out if you're trying to win affection (sorry Influence).
  12. Exactly! And don't even get me started on how bland and plain they are now since they're all pretty much identical...
  13. It's crazy how powerful our companions are (at least when they're at influence level 10) with all the Presence bonuses they receive. Think of how powerful they're going to be at lvl 50... It's too ridiculous and it makes leveling boring when every group of mobs die in a few seconds... Anyone else agree?
  14. I'm bringing back this issue that was discussed earlier now that the expansion is out... I'm only in Chapter 4, so I'm not sure how much else you learn about the Emperor, but this new story seems like it's really forcing him into this new role. The book about Revan showed that the Emperor is a Sith Pureblood, so for him to have died for reals, he must have transfered all of his essence into this new Valkorian, who he's been controlling for years apparently. Second of all, when did he become so caring about things (his children) when a few months earlier, he was raving on about destroying the galaxy.... It seems to me like Bioware just pulled this out of no where and just used the Emperor so as to abruptly close his books...
