  1. my statement: And if it goes just for the 1dot thingy, i also have plasma on gunnery spec which can be made free and instant. where did i say talent? I said u can also stop them from tabbing as u can with AS, which give ur team enough time to react.

  4. i MIGHT be wrong, but when i read how u play it sounds so horrible.... I don't know you so i don't wanna insult u here right now, but u rly should read the last 3-5pages on this thread carefully. U might gonna get some tips or some ways to improve ur gameplay.
  5. ^^^^^^ this text is exactly why most ppl play assault. Cause u get higher dmg number on end-score statistic. Tell me 1 thing, how does a IR tab IR tab helps ur team? the rarity to stop someone from tabbing a control point are under 2 limits: 1) no healer who can cleanse 2) not to be one of those classes who have cleanse themself (even vanish work). Even i as gunnery, i have always my cleanse ability on my skillbar to remove dots after killing someone near a control point, if needed. And if it goes just for the 1dot thingy, i also have plasma on gunnery spec which can be made free and instant. U do 0 pressure. Ur "dmg" can even be outhealed by any non "main heal"-spec class. All u do is getting big numbers at the end score. But u have 0use for ur team. The other thing is i would never mvp a dd. For what? we get enough medals anyway (not like tank or those with guard but we get enough) Think about healer! What medals a healer get? 2,5k heal 5k heal (good gear needed) 75k heal 300k heal 1death blow if lucky. beside that he get nothing (atleast when he does his healer job right) I always mvp the healer. Anyway, ur IR tab IR tab, does nothing, except giving yourself a ***** cause u did so AWESOME overall total dmg. oh and not to mention u can dot 4ppl before u are out of ammo. GJ! u did well. After that u can spam hammershot all day long until u can tab and ir again xD sounds really awesome! PS: this was just to this person, not to the AS spec itself. I still think that both are viable. But the AS spec is for me more a spec which u use in the 10-49bg's and early 50. Gunnery has way more effective use. And i played both, and both specs are as easy as the other spec is. Pressing those few skills isn't anything spezial at all.

  7. ur dmg comes from aoe dots and dots mostly, which are easy to get counter healed. on the paper u do more dmg, ofc, doting every makes big endscores. But u have 0 pressure, U won't kill anyone who gets healed (and tbh the times that ppl play without healer are over) Neither u are able to kill a same geared sage healer with AS. -> Dmg on Endscore is awesome, but the dmg is useless. -> gunnery casts and is harder to play. But in the end u KILL ppl, and not doting every1 so the healer can laugh at you.
  8. usually u are limited when u can use HiB, like when the target is knockdowned or under a burn effect. With the GR Debuff on the target u are allowed to use HiB on this target.
  9. well my post was kinda offensive sorry for that, didn't mean to be rude. i did understand u, but ... well ofc u can get 6-9 HiB procs like u said. But even then, think about it! For getting procs u need to cast FA or CB, so ur mobility is completly destroyed, which is the most awesome part of beeing AS. And when they let u spam so many cast skills so that u get 6-9 procs i wonder if u would't do more dmg with gunnery since the enemy seems not to los, move, or anything like hat. Well since we have no combat log we can't say it for sure. But i guess that gunnery wouldn't fall behind even with hib procs over a gunnery who can spam on a target. Hope u understand what i mean
  10. tzzzz another person who just looks at the end-scored-dmg ofc u do more dmg on the table with aoe dot and spreading ur dos arround. But that doesn't help ur team at all. Dots are cureable if needed (from healer or self cleansed or vanish/shield cleans) and dots are so easy to be outhealed. ofc they keep ticking, but that's it. Gunnery has the potential to KILL. Almost ur entire dmg are single target dmg. U are going to kill Sharpshooter and healers so fast, or forcing them to run away so they aren't able to support there team anymore. AS was awesome on the lower brackets 10-49. Simple for 1 reason: u had way less healers there, nothing unusually to play 3bg's straight without an healer. On 50er bg with assault u have more total dmg on the end-score. But the dmg u did wasn't a big help for ur team. And yeah ofc u kill some ppl as fast as gunnery, but that are targets who are probally fresh 50 who have no expertise. or the right equip. U would kill them also with a heal/dps hybrid build almost as fast as with AS......

  13. u still have the aoe dot ability as gunnery, the effect remains the same. If it goes to jump in dot all and die, that's also possible with gunnery
  14. better call it slow, snare is more a root effect which it doesn't do
  15. ^^ thanks, yeah well the main problem i see is that ppl tend to only watch at there endstats... ofc if u play well with AS u might be able to get usually more dmg as a gunnery in total, but this dmg comes from aoe dot, and single dots. jsut switched back to gunnery (thanks to my 2pve items) and yeah the difference is enorm. U can burst enemy healers so hard, give them a mark above there head and laugh at them If they let u shoot them they are dead, if they run away with speed (sage) they can't heal there own team! if they los, same, they are very limited to heal anyone beside themself. always funny Just never ever follow them when they los. U will most likely beeing catched by melees who visually see u are hittingg the healer, switch target, dmg someone else, if the healer comes in heal range, go get him, same play Gunnery is way more fun to play since u really kill ppl, and not doting doting doting. They get healed, u redot ... blabla that's not really usefull atleast not as usefull as gunnery. Atleast that's what i think =)
