  1. This is the BEST attitude! Well done sir!!! Stick it out, and you will be epic in no time!!
  2. Doubtful, since (fully upgraded) has the same lock on time as a conc missle. Nice embellishment though ...
  3. Okay, noticed earlier that he is also on the imp side. He tore the match, (and me) a new one! I bombarded him with more questions earlier, and by god he took time to assist me! Then he gets on his imp (assuming it's his imp, as it's an identical name) and lit me up! It was a fun match, and Devil'dog is nothing but respectful and helpful. To those that fly with him, does he run the same name on both sides of the server? Bad enough seeing him on a pub v pub, now I have to see him in an imp? In all seriousness, he's once again gone out of the way to assist me when I have bombard him with MORE questions. Devil, if you are seeing this, thanks man. You truly are a good guy!
  4. "I can't kill said ships, so I want them nerfed!!!!" Bombers, gunships are easy kills.L2P PLEASE
  5. Yea, cause they got it right in ground pvp...it's not the lack of match making, it's the nub pilots who have no clue *** is going on. I'll spot the F2P'ers 2 weeks grace period, but the sub players and pref players know better. 1 week before 2.6 goes live, and I saw pref players flying like morons. After all this time, you still don't get it? Don't blame matchmaking. Blame your brain. There are a ton of guides and YouTube vids out there by now. Use them, learn from them, or stop queuing. Either way, you have ZERO excuse. A scout opens fire 10,000m meters away? Research that stuff.
  6. They're are 2 spawn points for a reason. Learn where they are instead of coming on here like a nub and running your mouth. If you keep using the same spawn point, and blindly fly back into the lions mouth, you deserve to get camped. Use a different spawn point to assist your team, or stop queuing for GSF.
  7. Having a mastered ship won't make you a better pilot OP. Yea, I know who you are in game....
  8. Mission departures elevator. Look for hangar section.
  9. Sorry, but I would not use GSF as justification for that fancy flight controller you talked your wife into getting. There are better flight games and flight sims out there.
  10. If you turn on your advanced GSF weapon tool tips, you would have figured this out already...there is a time and place for BLC, and QLC.
  11. I used to solo queue on POT5. Then I saw black squadron run "premades". I decided "why not me?" So I started my own group. Various guilds, but friends to fly with. It's that simple. Why bash a premade? This is an MMO. And I can't stress the second "m" in MMO enough. Wanna ban premades, then ban them in the ground game also. And ban premades for PvE content, cause I'm sure that one boss in that one operation is tired of seeing the same 8-16 people... Bashing premades (groups who play together, like in the spirit of an MMO) will not solve anything. Get some friends, take lead and make your own, or go play a single player game. All these people who spend all their energy coming to these forums crying about premades, could have spent their energy making and organizing their own premades... On the imp side of POT5, there are no organized premades. What ever premade that was there in dec-early jan is gone. So please imps! Get together and organize! Only real competition I've seen is pub v pub matches.
  12. Just wanted to publicly thank a particular player. I play on POT5 pub side, and have been rolling a star guard since early release. Over the last few days, I kept getting put in the same group with this guy, so I decided to watch his scout play and see if it is maybe something I wanna try. After seeing him in action, I whispered him on the fleet for a few pointers. To my surprise, he actually took the time to give me his load out and the reasons why he chose what he chose. He said it fits to how he wants to fly. But my overall point is this: I ask for help on the fleet, I get trolled. I ask for quick tips in a GSF match, I get silence or told to uninstall the game. I walked out on a limb, whispered a player who caught my eye directly, and he was extremely helpful and nice to boot! Maybe to him, it was no biggie. But to me, in a game with a lot of trolls and elitist jerks, it meant a lot that there are still nice people online. And, I'm getting the hang of my scout.
  13. to me, this statement should have shut this thread down. so much win with this statement.
  14. just because I have a good group of friends to play with and win, doesn't mean that I feel sorry for those that solo queue. MMO means play with FRIENDS. don't like being rolled over by a "pre-made", make some friends and try to change the balance.
