Yeah. The reason i play the game was because i bonded with the character that grew through their trials to become larger than life heroes. As simple thing as our titles being said is a massive step in the right directions. class specific content would be amazing

Agreed. I'd Rather play without my character being called the Outlander or Commander. Being in the mindset of Darth Imperious then be jarred from that experience by being called commander by that ONE IMPERIAL ADMIRAL pisses me off. Makes me feel like the character i've stuck with throughout the years is forgotten. . Also the point about the mail. YES. those tiny additions that remind you of who your character was before this whole Zakuul thing is so important.

YES. they should have given us something!. but i suspect they're gonna keep it up - in their minds our frustrations must mean we're gonna continue to play - and therefore pay - forgetting that this is a two way transaction. we pay because we want to enjoy ourselves. NOT FEEL FRUSTRATED

you got it. That's honestly my greatest complaint. It feels like your character doesn't feel like a player in all of this, only a shadow and that bioware cares more about their own characters in the expansion then how yours fits into all of this. In shadow of revan , an expansion with just the same narrowed single story as KOTFE for the different classes, How did it make you feel like your character and in KOTFE it does not? Because in SOR - you had your title and the seeming past you character experienced - that one scene where the Revanites cowered because you were a dark council member - or that scene where Marr speaks specifically to your class character as a peer. That's what made it greater. KOTFE - maybe a decent story, but it's horrible in how it handles your character's past. - It ignores the titles and class stories we played much longer and instead just labels us COMMANDER with only passing mentions to our past. KOTH is frustrating - If your character is a dark lord - allow us to choke him - even if he lives. SENYA is frustrating - Allow us to tell her she's weak for constantly hesitating to kill her son and daughter THE ALLIANCE is frustrating - you don't feel important or epic - Show, even in short cutscenes - your character commanding soldiers or something. - ARCAAN - if we're force users allow us to beat him with THE FORCE. NOT with a shield. even in the cutscenes there is no homage to your class - like lightning for the inquisitor or something.

It is exactly the feeling of your character's past and experiences being seemingly forgotten by bioware in their new expansion that makes it bitter instead of fun. If they have a sincere love for the game and its story then i hope they hear our complaints. but if they just keep doing frustrating things like keep Arcaan alive despite the choice to kill him or allow Koth to humiliate your character and other frustrating things (Like the amount of times Senya ****s up as our Ally - OH MY GOD) - OVER and OVER AGAIN just for the sake of prolonging the content then i know that that's it for me.

i agree. i bonded with my sith inquisitor, felt like i really nurtured this personality of a powerful dark sider who pragmatic and sometimes merciful. Yet now i feel like i play such a different character. No "Darth Imperius" or "My Lord" not even from the imperials in the alliance. i felt like years invested into this game and my character were ripped away only to be replaced with an experience far different from that i've grown to love. The expansion's story is good, but your character's place in it is not. even if the dark council falls or Republic falls, that's no excuse to forget who your character is. In Shadow of Revan all your class story characters go through the same story ,just like in Kotfe. yet i felt like my class character fit. Darth Marr calling to Darth Imperious for help? that's fine. You are a high ranking member of the empire after all, a peer of Darth Marr. Yet your high ranking character feels nothing at all like that in KOTFE. Even with being the leader of an Alliance i feel like such a shadow of my former self because of the dialogue - open disrespect from Koth (which i suspect is because Bioware is more interested in creating their own "cool" characters that fill the expansion rather than holding your character to the standard of Marr) Just imagine if Koth insulted Marr?.The title of Commander - Is okay, but the title of Darth, or Master, or Barsenthor or whatever - should never be forgotten -As a veteran, You worked longer for those titles than you did for "Commander". They did something different and it does not do wonders for the experience. This is my own experience with it at least. I hope they'll change it but i'm honestly worried. I've stuck with the game a while but that may change.

No i don't serve in the military. I don't know why that thought popped in your head but that's non of my business. You are right about it being more important to be more capable than look pretty. And if you don't care about what it looks like that's fine. I just think while some people don't ,some do. And i was trying to get their thoughts as well.

really? huh . I guess its just me then. I mean it certainly mattered less to me than my characters clothes but it still kind of bugged me. Oh well.
