9th boss, guardian tank. After repeated attempts and huge repair bills, I realize i can't do this boss with my crappy gear & comp as a guardian tank (208/216 gear; level 29 comp). I have been following the mechanics of the fight but once the boss is at 25%, I get bombarded with droid attacks with non-stop yellow circles, I can just barely kill the 4 charging droids. I love it when the combat log says I got hit with 11k damage but still get insta-killed with full health. Anyway, I give up on this crap (anyone who says its easy is running around in top end gear, sorry). I miss the days when we worked towards raiding by doing dailies and killing world bosses. This abomination that Bioware has come up with is kind of sad considering what potential this game once had. At this point, I could care less about the remaining chapters. I finish the new ones in 30 minutes after waiting months for them to be released. If EC is an attempt to stall for time, the devs really failed. Most people who can actually do EC are saying its replay value is next to zero. So what are we suppose to do...go back to pissing around with 5 year old OPS/FP content while we wait for something new? That is really dumb considering this is a subscription based game. We pay to play, we should be getting better content than this. Anyway, I really don't care if the alliance defeats Arcaan anymore. If I have to put up with nonsense like EC until the end of November, I think I would rather go play The Sims. I am glad my sub is done in July =)

Bleh...got to the 8th boss and realized as an under geared tank with a lvl 18 comp, this boss is just lol. I guess EC is just for those who have endured the grind for the past 5 months.

This is an alert quest for companions. Lokin wants this massive list of materials that when turned in will get you to level 10 influence with him. From what I understand, once I get rank 10, he will send me into the Rakghoul caves during the next Rakgoul event (Nov 10). I am assuming the only way to get the materials is through crafting, but i don't do any crafting. Is there any other way of getting rank 10 with Lokin, or should i just abandon this one? I would start the crafting if I thought the outcome of this had any benefit whatsoever, but so far these companion alert quests seem kind of useless.

Sorry if this has been asked already, but the first thing I noticed was heroic moment and all of its abilities are gone. Did they phase it out? I follow the forums and I read the patch notes, I don't recall this change. Thank you in advance for any insight.

I doubt this change will affect me all that much. The only time I really go back to the low level planets on my high level characters is usually to help someone kill a quest boss. Usually the quest bosses are deep inside caves/buildings. In order to reach the person I want to help, I will now have to fight my way to them. What use to be a 5 minute job is now like a 20 minute job. That is about the only issue I may have with this. Seems like this would be a good time for a universal summoning system.

Hello all, Just a quick question about achievement points. I have 15,970 points. i have just noticed any new achievements I get do not add to this total. Is there a cap on achievement points or is my achievements bugged? Thank you in advance for your reply.

I dunno, to me it seems like their marketing is doing quite well. This goofy thread has generated lots of noise about the upcoming expansion. Their push to the next expansion also has lots of people talking (negative or positive, it doesn't matter, so long as people are talking, that is what marketing is suppose to do). Since the expansion announcement, the forums have been more focused on either praise or crying about what is coming and less whining about the game mechanics as they are now. So what if they are not exactly being forthcoming about info regarding the next expansion. So long as they feed us with small spoonfuls of info, it will keep us talking. That is marketing genius. The next Star Wars film is following that formula to perfection. On a side note, from a marketing standpoint, Bioware should be running TV ads to target potential new mmo gamers. With the release of the new star wars film, there will be a lot more gaming interest in the Star Wars franchise if it is successful.

Yep, lost Kaliyo and have to gear up another companion. I need another tank so Scorpio is what i have chosen to waste a bunch of resources on. My question is what weapon proficiency is she? She came equipped with a techstaff but most of the data mining websites say she can use electrostaffs and techblades. What is it? Scorpio can't use any of the electrostaffs or techblades that i bought her. What are the best modded weapons that Scorpio can use? I can stick with her green modded techstaff but there must be something better than that. I maxed out Kaliyo's affection so I'd like to start working on Scorpio next, but her weapon proficiency doesn't make sense to me.

I think the devs should really think about fixing the terrain bug that affects every corner of this game. Seriously, it is so easy to get stuck on just about anything. Sure, /stuck has been a pretty good band aid all these years but sometimes that doesn't even work. i was just moving towards my next quest objective on Balmorra when boom, I was stopped dead in my tracks...alas, stuck on a log. Every known attempt to get myself unstuck failed (/stuck just kept putting me in the same spot) until I used my rocket boots and hammered on my spacebar until the log let me go. That was after about 45mins of trying. Any hope this will ever get fixed?

Thanks for the response. My comps all have 168's so it's probably not worth dropping comms for them. I would like to transfer the comms to my alts though I wasn't aware we could do that. How does one go about sending comms to an alt?
