  1. Old, and that's actually a pretty positive review from Yahtzee.
  2. The devs are hoping to increase the number of active subscribers, so the population cap for the destination servers will inevitably be raised, as opposed to opening new servers. This does not mean mega servers.
  3. If you end up jynxing us, I will find you and kick you in your FACE.
  4. That's incorrect. Member notes are meant to be seen by members and officers. Officer notes are meant to be seen by officers only. Example Player: Scrubknuckles Member Note: DPS, Biochem Officer Note: On the chopping block for a gkick Understand?
  5. We typically have 30-50 on the fleet a night. You're right though, the only real way to get a representation of server population to judge it by a single server, your server.
  6. a) It's 9:38 AM on a Sunday. b) Do you not understand that the in-game economy in one massive super-server would be out of control? c) What is it with you children?
  7. Take note, boys and girls. These are the experts you deal with on a day to day basis on these forums. Is the OP seriously this clueless?
  8. You are aware that, in two days, a large percentage of the player base will be moving to a more populated server, correct?
  9. Personally, from a competitive, elitist standpoint, if The Old Republic never gets up to 3-4 million, it'll always feel second-hand compared to the game who shall not be named. Why am I playing, then? I think the game has that potential after a year or two.
  10. I am a strong advocate of the idea that endgame should be developed around the hardcore community, not the casual community. The developers need to take note of how Blizzard advertised Diablo 3's difficulty settings. "You will get your *** kicked. You will die. It is not easy." These are all things that the developers should be proud to admit. People seem to think that the hardcore community is much smaller than the casual community. While I will agree it is smaller, it isn't so small that it should be neglected. When it's all said and done, a good 12 to 14 boss operation with a deep level of immersion (think Naxx, Uld, or ICC) will do more for this game than anything the OP mentioned.
  11. Please keep the discussion in the General Discussion section of the forums on topic and concerning Star Wars: The Old Republic. Thank you.
