  1. I agree, spending boring hours to complete a season objective is killing any game fun one might have. Spawn times for gamblers are too slow, rng for when they actually cheat is terrible and number of gamblers in a casino is terribly low. Only way I would see to have a chance of completing this, is logging in at hours where few other people are awake to play, since as of now the spawn points are filled with players waiting for gamblers to pop up and hence competing against each other on who click the fastest when a gambler cheat. Few would actually find this a fun way to spend their game time.. I'd rather do wz pvp, or even ranked wz pvp.. and I truly deeply hate wz pvp in this game, but at least it holds more action that this! Only mention it to put into comparison on my own preference regarding this slow boat season mission.
  2. Since the developers are asking for our reviews and idea's on how to better balance the new Conquest system, here's some of my thoughts & idea's. Focus on the thought that people with many Alt Characters would like to be able to complete Personal Goal. As it is now, it takes many hours a day to complete the goal with more than one character a week. 1. Crafting: This used to be a great way to complete the personal goal with all alts, provided to have materials in stock. True it was used tip the balance on the score board a lot, but it was also the best way for a small guild to end on said score board. The new crafting objective of 50 items for a low gain of conquest points is a step in the right direction, but consider that 8 Companions can only be set to make 40 items combined at a time, unless waiting for some of those items to come in and set to craft more. My suggestion for a tweak is: 40 instead of 50 items needed and increase the conquest point gain. Should also be unlimited repeatable, needless to say. It still takes a lot of time to gather the needed materials, so should not be a balance breaker. 2: Heroics. Is another way for alts to complete personal goal. Unlimited Repeatable and maybe always have Heroics on the Objectives. The Heroics now is 1 a day per legacy repeatable, that's a laughing stock towards the Planetary Missions where 4-8 is needed to be complete to earn that. Personally I've not done more than 1 if it earned Conquest Points since the new system, because I have a lot of alts and Conquest Points are needed for my Guild, so those are my priority. 3. When you removed the Guild Bonus from Invading a Planet, you removed not only what a guild might focus on of Objectives but also cut down the conquest earnings, a lot. Earlier it was possible to reach personal goal within hours for a character, now it takes days, sometimes almost a full week. The newly increase of point rewards is a step in the right direction, but it could still be improved. I'm not saying you should get the Guild Invasion Bonus back, but you should still consider what an objective used to be worth with former bonus' and what they are worth now. Ever since Conquest was introduced, that has been what kept me going as a Subscriber since Prelaunch. I used to spend like 6-8 hours a day working on conquest for my small guild, we even managed to win some planets before conquest crafting were diminished, back when repeatable crafting was for all weeks. Since the changes I haven't played at all, have only logged in every Tuesday to set my guild on a planet, for those who wanted to reach their goal, which were very few, if any. In short, the new system greatly favors the larger guilds and make smaller guilds despair. Lowering Personal & Planet goal ain't the root of the problem, the problem is how long it takes to reach Personal goal and how much is repeatable for all Alts.
  3. Another idea would be to create a Subscription Token only sold on the GTM by use of Cartel Coins, with a 2 day cool down before it can be given/traded to others. This way we would actually be able to buy subscription time for our close friends, as I've personally wanted to do many times since game launch, for Christmas or Birthdays. Of course many would use it to earn credits from the GTN, as with all other tokens/items from the GTM purchasable by Cartel Coins, but it could result in more steady subscribers in the end, as the game is most fun when subscribing and people won't truly feel that until they've tried it. A 30 Day Subscription Token for a high Cartel Coin price shouldn't be impossible to create, though it might be difficult to implement as the Subscription could then be activated/prolonged in-game and so far it has only been an Off-game thing.
  4. Black/Black dye is the most expensive of them all, either by Cartel Coins on GTM, or credits from GTN, so it would be nice if they in ALL cases indeed made your armor pieces truly Black & Black, but they Don't!! On most gear it only makes the existing gear color into a darker shade version, on other gear, such a Dreadseed armor (the one we dig up on various planets) it becomes dark grey and darker grey, NOT BLACK. For this particular armor the choose character picture, where we see the character we choose to load into game, the color dye does not show at all, it's grey and red as it is basic. On various other multi colored armor pieces, some color/lights or whatever, is not affected by the dye either. The show effects pop up is often giving an incorrect picture than the actual effect. I had hoped my female gunslinger would run around in a true black and black outfit, but it's actually dark green and dark brown based from the original mixed gear pieces and yes I do use the dye on Chest-piece and unify afterwards. If I use a Black/something else, like Pink or Red, or Brown etc.. the black part is truly black and the second part is truly what it should be, but for Black/Black it often, very often in fact, is not really black, as described above. Would be nice to get some color experts to look at the designs
  5. Though it's "just" a solo mini game, the Space Missions Upgrade tier 7 have been missing the Beam Generator since the full pack was removed from GTM and replaced with Vendor / Cybertech parts back in patch 1.6 or 1.7 if I recall correctly? Recently I wanted to play those solo missions on new alts and they could not find a way to get the last grade 7 upgrade. It's a part that increase the bolt damage a lot, though has less bolt shots per second than the tier 6 Beam generator which is a reward from a first time doing one of the tier 5-6 missions. Think the tier 6 had 12 shot's per second and tier 7 has 10, the damage output difference is important though to beat tier 7 missions, so would be nice to be able to have a full set of tier 7 upgrades again, like adding the missing part to the fleet vendor? Would be about time too, years since the part was overlooked
  6. For those who care about Conquest, this is a Major bug, especially since Nar Shaddaa Heroics are part of so many conquest week types. If conquest crafting was always repeatable it would not matter so much, neither would it matter if loving PvP, but for players with many alts who doesn't have time to wait for ques every day, it does matter to be able to gain daily cp through heroics, and for NS it is only guaranteed with Imp players, so yeah some of us would call it a Major bug.
  7. Many have given their view on when Nar Shaddaa auto completes through Galactic Command, but non have nailed it 100% yet. I've got 22 characters of various sorts, all lvl 70 of course, so all can use Galactic Command and here is what I pieced together: Nar Shaddaa Planetary Missions auto completes on all Republic Characters who have been created as level 1. Republic Characters who have been made with a lvl 60-65 token, as in started as lvl 60-65, does not get the auto complete. Imperial characters doesn't appear affected by the auto complete, I got 10 of those, 9 started as level 1, one started as lvl 60 by use of a token, non of them get the auto complete. It doesn't matter where the character is placed when using the Galactic Command for Planetary missions, it matters if they are Republic and if they started as level 1 or by use of a lvl 60-65 Token.
  8. So you are using the failed system to get fast CXP on your Republic Characters... good for you, unless they decide it's taking advantage of course Here is how it is NOT "better for all of us": This week has Nar Shaddaa Heroics as a Repeatable Conquest Objective. The failed fix means people with many Republic Alts will have a harder time reaching goal on them all, where Imperial players will have a much easier time, so in this aspect, the game "favors" Imperials which can not be seen as fair play.
  9. Better yet, make a drop down menu option like there is on Flash Points through the Galactic Command. You are right, it is super annoying to click and decline until getting a specific Planetary Mission, the drop down menu suggestion should be pretty simple to implement, even as there are a lot of "planets" involved.. the drop down menu should only show the ones still available of course. This would also help us with many characters keep track of what character has already done certain Planetary missions.
  10. It would be nice to know what exactly moves the bar in either way, how much you have contributed yourself and what you earned when your side wins. Several guides tries to inform us, but so far I have not seen any consistent proof in-game. If my side wins, I was supposed to get: CXP: I got no way of seeing or checking if that happens. CXP boost: this appears to be consistent, as I get 23 CXP per Champion instead of 20 and when the 60 min of side victory is over, they go back to 20 cxp per champion. Command crate: Sometimes I find I got a command crate at log in, where I was sure to have opened those earned before log out, if that's from DvL I could understand, but otherwise appears random if I get a crate from my side winning. Side Tokens: Also here it would be nice to be notified in the chat field when ones side wins, so far I only know if going to Inventory and check my Currency. The guide info on: "Pick your side, it's as easy a click with the mouse to participate" , is seriously lacking, especially if we have to earn a certain number of CXP and or LS or DS point to be eligible for the rewards. If that's the case, then please give us a way to check up our own contribution and total status, instead of just the 5 star status bar, which btw is totally annoying when it pops up all over the place.. would be nice with a way to hide or minimize it. Not knowing exactly how this whole new DvL works, makes it impossible for me to jump through my alts for crew missions etc. I feel compelled to stay with my present character until my side has won and I get rewarded for its work for it, even to stay an extra hour just to be sure.. if the rewards kick in when a new round starts up. So please dear Devs, give us a full explanation on how this reward system is supposed to work, for as of now it appears totally random.
  11. I can confirm this weekly is still broken, did Mass Exodus twice on Republic side (once with 2 characters), all 6 missions, and no conquest point rewards for any of them. Since my guild is trying to invade Makeb on this weeks Balance of Power that is 4500 conquest points each character is not getting, not to mention stronghold bonus, which in my case would be 7875 conquest points each character is now missing from their total. I think the whole thing is bugged because it completes in the field, instead of the original programming where we would have to go back to the Orbital station and talk to the droid to get a holo call for completion. I've invested time in 22 characters for my guild to do well in conquest, I do not see how they can reach their personal goals without doing PvP, since most weeks no longer have repeatable crafting. I was thrilled to do the math that they all should be able to get enough conquest points for their personal goals by doing all the heroics included in Balance or Power, plus the Staged Weekly, but with the Staged weekly being bugged for conquest points, there just isn't any way I can complete their goals in time.. and yes I hate PvP and hate it even more because being forced to do it for conquest every week. Please fix the bugs and give us an alternative way to solo reach our personal conquest goals, like more heroics to every week on the objective list. We would still have to spend time playing to reach the goal, but at least it's an alternative to repeatable PvP matches.
  12. I got Treek to Influence Rank 50 on bother Imperial and Republic side yesterday and I can confirm it doesn't give any achievements with her, even as all the guides I could google for those hidden achievements suggested so. There was plenty of places however, which suggest this achievement to be bugged.. as an achievement hunter I would like to see it fixed soon.
  13. They made a decoration slot machine, from which you could gamble your way to Contraband Reputation Items, amongst other things. However, that's the only rep item you could get this way, as far as I know. And I agree, we should get an alternative way to acquire any kind of reputation item, maybe through more kinds of decoration slot machines, or make the reputation items drop as rewards from flashpoints/Ops/Heroics as suggested above, or make a new vendor who simply trade reputation items for crystals, or even those new special "gifts" earned from Heroics at level 61-65? The gifts we have to give the 4 contacts in the expansion to increase our Influence Rank with them to 10-20. There are many ways they could let us get such reputation items, question is if they would ever do it? I fear in their minds it is like "They had their chance to buy packs when they were on the Cartel Market, all who didn't spend all their Dollars or Euro s on packs back then, have missed their chance for such reputation!"
  14. So for the past week the game launcher had this on it: Save 25% - Two Days Only Get 25% off all existing Cartel Market Packs - November 26-27. With a picture collage of some very old Packs, making me clap my hands in anticipation for getting the chance to buy some of the packs I missed and maybe even get some older cartel market reputation completed . However, non of the older packs returned, only the same new packs, which indeed got a +25% discount to them in the time frame. So why place the pictures of the older packs and use words like "all existing cartel market packs"? It gives your costumers false hope of getting something back for a short while, which is otherwise denied us. It feels like we are being lied to and few consumers would stand for that. To me it would be like a supermarket chain who advertise "25% off all our cheeses this weekend!" but when I walk into the supermarket that very same weekend, they only have a huge stock of a smelly cheese few would actually want.
  15. I got the same issue and have a in-game ticket for "Mission" for 9 days now, they sure must be busy reading tickets since mine haven't been seen yet.. Anyways, will try the advice given here, though even as I got to fleet, just not through the emergency fleet transport, the option to reset mission was still greyed out for me, as in impossible to reset.
