  1. Well then, thats a lot faster than my method. I guess mine works if it ever bugs. Thanks!
  2. I was not able to get any companions to release, no matter what I did to the orbs. Was it bugged?
  3. Even though I had geared up decently I was still unable to defeat Revan as a Sage healer. I would die as soon as my NPC helpers died when they were bound to the poles. I failed to figure out how to get them off the poles, if there is a trick or method It escapes me. YouTube was no help, those videos didn't seem to depict what I was experiencing. After 5-6 attempts I decided to try something different, and it ended up working very well. So well in fact you only need to cast one ability and the success rate has been 100% I decided I was just going to keep myself and my companion alive until the NPC go to the poles. I didn't even attempt to do damage or interrupt Revan. Once the NPC's were on the poles, I simply ran around the circle and bubbled them. The timing ended up being perfect, I could keep them bubbled 100% so they took no damage. By the time the NPC's are released, they are at full health. You need to do this at 70% and again at 30% health. It is a solid 10 minute fight (or so, I didn't time it), but it could not be any easier and the chance of failing is about zero. I hope this helps any Sage healers, or anybody else that can bubble others.
  4. I agree with the original poster 100%. But people are doing something 100 times worse: They wait for you to engage a group of mobs and then swoop in to take the quest item/security chest. Thats the worst MMO behavior out there. DB's!
  5. To the original poster: Yes, people are terrified of the success potential of TOR. Think about it: The VAST majority of MMO players started with or only have ever played WoW. WoW is the first and only MMO to them. TOR is the first real threat to WoW and it scares them, TOR has the potential to take their binky away. For people who have been playing MMO's for years and years (yes, there were MMO's before WoW, GASP!) we see how good TOR really is and accept that its not the same as WoW and that's a good thing. We also know that every MMO that's ever been released needs to be patched and improved after launch, including their coveted WoW. The WoW generation thinks that WoW created the genre and they are simply wrong, far from it. I started playing an MMO called Asherons Call nearly 12 years ago and was petrified to change to another game after 3 years of playing. But after I gave up my binky I reallized there are other great games out there. And Asherons Call is still one of the best MMO's out there. I cant say as fact because I don't know, but I am dead certain the vast majority of people trolling TOR are WoW Generation players. They are scared of TOR taking away their binky.
  6. I have the AMD T1100, thats ALOT of proc for under $200. And it overclocks to nearly 4gigz
  7. Thats why I went with the 16 RAM, I wanted the entire game to load into RAM so there would be as little paging as possible. But the irony is, the RAID 0 SSD's are as fast or even faster than my RAM so its totally seamless.
  8. I spent under $1500 for the PC I built for TOR and it runs circles around the game at max settings: AMD T1100 Hexa Core CPU 16 Gigs Ram RAID 0 SSD's (2 Crucial 64gigs each) game runs on this RAID 0 WD250's - OS and storage 1 Radeon 6850 (crossfire coming!) Windoes 7 64 bit 1000wat PSU I run the game at max settings and get amazing frame rates while watching Netflix on another monitor. You do not need to spend allot of money to get great performance. The RAID 0 SSD's are such a boost I will always do that from here out. I can only imagine the performance when i add the second GPU and enable Crossfire.
  9. I am sure credits needed are different for each class and play style.
  10. Some great stuff here. I am nearly level 31 and my crew skills aren't that high yet. It looks like I can do a combination of the things you guys are doing to get by. And yes i am a Sentinel and I have zero healing options other than meds.
  11. Thanks for the responses. Im not buying gear at all, just training, repairs, stims and medpacks. I also fight hard stuff alone most of the time and really need them.
  12. Slicing/Salvage/Artifice
  13. I am having a tough time with credits. Credits are slowing my pace more than anything else. Can some of you guys state what you are doing to keep them flowing? Repairs, heals, and stims keep me perpetually broke! Thanks!
  14. Don't let the door hit you in the a**.
