Very simple. I NEVER want to flag PvP. Ever. If that means I can't buff or rez someone who was inconsiderate enough to try to quest with me while flagged, so be it. I'm all for having that be switchable. That won't ever change. My friends don't PvP either though, so that's not even going to be an issue. I will NEVER be OK with someone else deciding for me that I should PvP.

Serious effort needs to be made to prevent griefing in events like this. In particular the apparent exploit allowing people to force others to flag PvP is the kind of thing that should NEVER make it through QA again. I didn't reactivate my sub until the event was basically over, so I don't have much feedback past that. Love events. Hate when players are enabled to grief by exploiting the events.

Flagging other players against their will is griefing. BW has already removed several vectors for abusing other people in this way and indicated that such activity should be reported. It's been a few months since I was last here, so I don't have a link for you, but I'll definitely be reporting anyone who intentionally PvP flags me using this technique. I have no interest in PvP ever. (I guess I do have a link in my sig)

Ah now THIS is useful. As a returning player, I had no idea what was going on with this event. Sure, I'll profit off of it if it can be done this way. It was otherwise annoying.

They're not going to re-do the entire game around a new engine. They're not going to stop everything and start over. It's not going to happen. The game has launched. Hopefully they can improve the current engine where it needs it. Asking for them to throw the entire game out and start over is ignorant at the very least.

Probably true for many. I've just played enough MMOs in the last 12 or so years to know better than to PUG.

Yes, this is greifing. It's going to be fixed, and is thus unintended. Report it and it will be dealt with. Hopefully with the offender being permanently removed from the game.
