  1. I agree. I imagine neither the Republic nor the Sith Empire are entirely cool with you holding control over a fleet that could wipe them both out. I would like my republic characters to start developing relations with the republic again, and for my sith empire characters to help quell any signs of hostility from the empire. I want to return to the "different side, different story" model that worked well and was enjoyable in the past. This one size fits all model they have right now really hinders replayability options, because it's redundant to play a different class but having to listen to the same lines of dialogue over and over that don't even sound remotely characteristic for half of my characters.
  2. I'm not sure how important scions were to Zakuulan society, all I do know is from that codex entry where it says that Valkorian did use them to find the Eternal Fleet. But other than that they just seemed to be kinda there, until Arcaan decided that they were useless because he considers himself above fate and prophecy. It kinda makes me curious as to why Arcaan didn't decided to wipe out all the Voss with the star fortresses.Maybe he just has a specific dislike of the scions themselves.
  3. As far as we know the Scions are always absolutely certain of the future, no doubt about it. If I remember correctly is that a vision can't be made official unless the interpreters all agree or at least mostly agree? And also at the least the Mystics are willing to actually tell you details about the actual visions instead of just being vague and mysterious all the time like the Scions have been so far.
  4. A random thought occurred to me while playing throughout the chapters: Are the Scions of Zakuul more powerful in terms of having force visions than Voss mystics are? What do you guys think?
  5. Well my Agent Lavars is the one that is actually taking the changes quite well compared to the rest of my characters. After the fall of Imperial Intelligence,Lavars has become a bit numb to loss of any kind. As a former intelligence agent he is trained to operate in situations where there is minimal resources and few allies to count on,his natural instinct is to rely on his sharp mind and ability to adapt. But now that the Empire has been severely crippled he faces a new challenge that requires him to be even more efficient than ever before. Thankfully he knows he can rely on Lana and her pragmatism to assist in taking down the Eternal Empire, but for his new allies, let's just say he has his vibroknife and blaster rifle ready just in case things go sideways.
  6. I think the weakness is justitfied by the carbonite poisoning. I also do agree with an earlier post that it makes things a bit more believable to have our character not be able to just curbstomp everything all the time. 5 years is a long time to be out of practice,in future chapters we should fare a lot better against Arccan and Vaylin. I feel like in terms of force power the Jedi Counsular would be able to match Vaylin at full strength, but that remains to be seen.
  7. Just thought I should post it somewhere, after a year and 25 days I've finally finished all the classes and their stories! I've been playing since 11/11/11 and I have to say this game exceeded my expectations by a milestone. It's been fun and adventurous to venture deeper into the star wars universe with 8 different class perspectives.I know this post sounds cheesy but I just feel accomplished to have made it this far. This game is definitely one of the best games I've ever played and I hope it will still be around for many years to come.May the force be with Star Wars:The Old Republic
  8. I've gotten towards the end of the imperial agent and I'm wondering " Could they really manipulate everything into all out war?" I've played the other classes and I know some of them were responsible for re-igniting the war, Plan Zero for the sith warrior, the destruction of the Gauntlet Superweapon, and numerous other things. But how much did they exactly control? I just need some clarification
  9. I've seen how both sides are and seen how their societies are.The empire seeks to bring order and stability to the galaxy but they rely on brute force and deception and demand that everyone bow down to their rule. The Republic also seeks order and stability but also encourages freedom and diversity among themselves. Each side truly wants to make the galaxy better but they go about it the wrong way and in turn have brought great strife upon the galaxy.I prefer the republic due to my preferences of a democracy and my preferences for the idea of diversity, but I understand and sometimes sympathize for the empire. But I do not enjoy nor tolerate their acts and their tactics, but I should expect nothing less from a society where Sith are supreme and everyone else is subservient
  10. Well,we can assume that Jedi and Sith are taught a wide variety of languages as part of their training in youth so they can understand the various species in the galaxy. The same can be said for the military and ops groups so they can understand how to work with and understand different species languages.Smugglers and Bounty Hunters just pick it up on the go I guess since they travel around the galaxy the most
  11. Found one for Ensign Temple when entering Cave-Under-Tree on Belsavis
  12. In Star Wars as I see it no side every truly wins.Star Wars is locked in an eternal battle of good vs evil, jedi vs sith,Republic vs whatever other faction, galactic power, or threat that arises to seek control or destruction of the galaxy.I don't think there was ever an intention to ever have a faction win over the other and then the whole story ends.It is how it is,eternal struggle, eternal battle. It's called Star WARS for a reason, there's always a war going on somewhere in the galaxy far, far away. And that's the way it's gonna stay
  13. Same here, nice change of pace when you get to it
  14. Kira,Ashara, and Jaesa Willsaam used to be very good friends and used to go on missions together all the time. But due to the war,the treaty of Coruscant and their jedi duties, they began to grow apart from each other .Neither of them knows what the other one has been doing or where they are now.Only Kira seems remember all the times she spent with them, though she doesn't like to talk about them though. Tharan Cedrax once studied with Docter Godera for a while. Gault used to be good friends with Nok Drayen and Risha treated him like an uncle, but due to Gault being on the run he soon lost relations with them, but he does send Risha letters from time to time and opportunities for them to see each other but Risha says she can't risk being seen with Gault with him being on the run and all. Noman Karr and Orgus Din were good friends who fought many battles together against the sith in the war. Corso got into a fight with Torian when he was younger when Torian came with some other mandolorians to hunt Savrips on Ord Mantell. Corso almost won against Torian but Torian was more skilled, but Torian respects Corso's fighting spirt and said Corso would've made a good Mandolorian but was too much of a farmboy and was too soft hearted. Sergant Rusk served under Jorgans command during several operations during the war. Jorgan admired and respected Rusks commitment and dedication as a trooper and constantly praised him for it.Jorgan considered him to be one of the most model troopers in the republic. lol I like this thread
