I'm in Australia with an approx 250ms ping and obviously end up doing these with aussies. I can assure you that with 250mg ping, you can be well out of the orbital circle on your screen and still get nuked by it due to mis-positioning by the server. I watch youtube videos of this fight and see players not getting nuked at the edge of the orbital circle, which is totally different from our experience.

Thanks for letting us know that a group of people used to working with each other can do hard content and that you and your buddies are leet. This FP remains a nightmare for healers working with PUGs.

And that profit allows them to put more stuff into the game. The expansion might be "pay to avoid grind", but it isn't pay to win. That is fine by me.

A few points come to mind about the xfer to US servers. 1. It is disappointing that they aren't being honest about the real reason. The Aussie servers aren't financially viable. I feel sorry for Eric Musco (who seems like a good guy), but is obviously being directed to toe the EA party line. 2. Sadly, this means that no MMOs in the future are going to risk localised Aussie servers. It looks like low ping wasn't that big a deal to ANZ MMO players or more people would have moved across from WoW etc. 3. I'm sure they've done the estimates already and worked out that savings from closing the Aussie servers > sub losses from ragequits. So waste your time if you want ranting about it, but I am reasonably confident they don't care. 4. One advantage of being part of EA is that their corporate rep doesn't really take a hit from this move. Not when they were already a contender for worst US company. I'm staying subbed and will see how it works out. 300 ms ping is still > Pandas.

I found many of the heroic space missions incredibly hard when they came out. I was using the new space modules as soon they were available. There are some great youtube videos (including by someone called xLethalis from memory) that made all the difference for me and now it is very rare to for me to fail a mission. Good luck!

Still not working as intended (for me at least). On republic side I get regnant station assault, thanium disruption and the one that you need to do both thanium disruption and baros ambush for. No other heroic missions.

+1 This is a very eloquent summary of the problems with the game as it stands.

You will often see other people looking to group up to do these. Often in general chat you will see "LFG for [Name of Heroic Mission or Flashpoint]" LFG means looking for grp LFM means looking for more (ie a group has already started up) It's helpful if you state your role. Groups generally have 1 tank, 1 healer and 2 dps ie "Healer LFG for [Name of Heroic Mission or Flashpoint]" To invite someone to group, right click on their name in chat and select the invite to group option.
